| Mostly 6 or 7. These days I don't have the time to watch shows that I find boring/super mid and I don't watch seasonals blindly either, so I don't give out many 4s or 5s. 7 definitely is a good show, but I also see it as "average of good anime" like the user above me. Which to me means, it's a good show, but nothing groundbreaking or amazing, the concept has been done before, minor plot holes, maybe didn't reach its potential 100%, etc. 6 is for shows that are still fun, but have more obvious flaws (overuses generic tropes, some characters are very underdeveloped, bigger plotholes, ending kinda unsatisfying or the show becomes too repetitive, etc) 5 is for shows that have the same problems as 6s but are less entertaining and interesting to me personally and I am borderline bored while watching. 4 and below is for shows that actively make me feel negative emotions. To be fair though, while I am quite generous, I don't give out 9s or 10s easily either. I mostly give out 6, 7 and 8s. |
