I first started reading Oshi No Ko back in 2020, I found it to be refreshing and an interesting story.
I stopped reading the manga a while ago and am now an anime only waiting to see the full story adapted, I just finished season one after saving it for so long.
Do you have an "Oshi"? I'm a fan of lots of Kpop groups and have several biases as a result lol. Park Jimin is my Ult <3
Favorite character so far? As far as characters go I was drawn to Ai much like the characters in the story and was devastated by what happened. I love Kana and her development and I find Minami to be a cute character!!

Yahello! I'm Andrwby.

I binged the entire first season and am going to do the same with the second.
I fell in love with this anime ever since I heard the season 1 intro "idol".
The first outro "Mephisto" gave me, JoJo season 1 outro vibes with how it blended the end scene with the credits.

I recommend anyone who hasn't to listen to the song "Sign Is B" to give it a listen it's such a bop.

Any recommendations to other songs hit me with them.

Hello!

Despite the preposterous profile nickname, people call me "kitkät" when they can't pronounce the long full version of "kitkättäktik"

And now, for the longest "bit" about me you've ever seen, as to how OnK basically changed my view on some stuff in some very odd ways (Nobody is gonna read this, I probably just need it for myself lmao):

So for the anime, I heard about it from my (at the time) girlfriend who shilled the hell out of it to me and told me to watch it, I got hooked on it, finished S1 of the anime and then never returned to it in terms of like continuing to read the manga cuz at the time I just didn't read mangas at all. S2 comes around and I almost wouldn't have watched it just because of the small association of the first season being recommended to me by my gf, since at the time of S2 I was no longer her partner, relationship was very toxic with her etc, doesn't really matter, but anyway I started S2 and as I got further in to more episodes, past like the 3rd or 4th one I started getting impatient and ended up reading the manga to find out what happens, I found the connection between Aqua and Akane very captivating and truly emotional considering how they both had very deep mental struggles which I can even halfway relate to (depression, anxiety, not the murdering stuff, I am NOT a psychopath lmao).

The way they spoke to each other felt so real to the point I felt like I want an Akane in my life too, as insane as it sounds. For once I felt like I could resonate and relate to characters with this piece of media, even though some specific things they do is definitely for the "Show" aspect of it, regardless this is definitely one of the few animes, or maybe even THE anime that made me feel something more than others.

As for what "Changed" I think I started to see things as they are now, the ending in the manga wasn't "lackluster" as many say. It was simply not what people wanted to see combined with the aspect of people feeling like it was cut short when in reality it kind of wasn't. The author meant for it to end this way and I respect it, Aqua got desperate and acted too rashly, he was impatient. If anything it just tells you an ending of "Look what happens when you don't talk to people, look how quickly something beautiful can end if you ignore help and go into a hellhole alone." and that is what I personally think the author wanted to convey. It's abrupt because it's meant to be "real" in a way. Real life IS abrupt and unpredictable. You shouldn't be rash with life and you need to value what little time you do have. I'm not saying you should be afraid all your life, but definitely am saying you should do what makes you happier, even if in the beginning it brings you down in some way, like financially for example. Personally started to see more to my dream than just having it be a dream and started bit by bit. I'm still not even close to it, but I've done so many steps ever since and I'm truly happy that I'm giving my own dream a fair shot.

Don't take your own happiness away from yourself. Give yourself a chance.

- i found it when i was doing the mrc challenge of 2022, i had to read a manga that came out in the 2020s and this one was the first one i saw :p
- both. i watched episode one of the anime in a library and it made me cry :')

I learned about anime on the pandemic—jumped deep then never turned back. I read and watch based on the mood; sometimes you need the art boards, sometimes the movement and voice gets you harder.

Do I have an Oshi? Absolutely.

Faves? Katagiri Yuuichi, Oba Youzou, and Bat Yasubei—complex characters with depth, shadow, and uncertain minds always hook me.

Music, films? Too numerous to mention, but I tend towards the intense, psychological, or profoundly human ones.

Let's just say that I appreciate tales that don't shy away.

Hi, my mal username is something mario but just call me Spirit or whatever my username is. I lowkey don't even remember how I heard of Oshi no Ko, but I believe I saw a clip on youtube shorts and it was interesting so I decided to give it a try around episode 6 of Season 1 of the anime. After finding out about the anime, I watched all the available episodes at the time and got impatient and began reading the manga too. I watched all the episodes weekly and finished the manga when it ended last year. My favorite character was Akane, and I don't like getting into shipping wars and stuff so I also like Kana. Other than that I don't have much else to share, thanks for reading!

Hi I’m creme! I’m a big fan of oshi no ko especially ai!!! I found out about this manga from a twitter post and was captivated with the art style I HAD to read it. My favorite character is Ai! I have an ita bag decided to her 🥰 ( I also like memcho) I really like the live action of oshi no ko and think it’s so cool that ano is memcho in the live action I think she fits her perfectly c:

I didn't know anything about it until i saw a little clip of opening one and thought it was good so i watched it.
My favorite character is kind of a basic one but it's Ai
I like JJK and demon Slayer too. they're all linked through Koki Uchhiyama who voiced in all three of them and is one of my favorite VA.

I only started watching anime a little over a year ago, but of the ≈75 anime I’ve watched Oshi no Ko is in my top 5!

My favorite character from the series is definitely Akane. I loved how relatable she was—MEM-cho is a close second though (since she was played by ano-chan in the live action).

It has my favorite OST of all time, and all the openings and endings are fantastic—I can’t just just one ^_^

I first heard about 'Oshi no Ko', or 'My Star' from one of my friends (chaos), and truly enjoyed the series, from start to finish, thou some parts *were* kinda devastating.

(personally, Akane Kurokawa is best girl, and Ai has the most BEAUTIFUL eyes in anime.), and i REAALLY want to know more about her, not to bee a creep, or anything.

i found the song 'STAR☆T☆RAIN' kinda cute, but my fave is definitely 'Idol', and Kana Arima (who can lick baking powder just like that) really surprised me with her singing. Song, Dance AND acting??? IMPRESSIVVEEE

Hello!!
I'm Sergio, as for meI heard about the show thanks to a friend while the first season was still on going and watched the first episode the night before a trip, devastating final didn't expect it at all, I cried, spent my time on the bus binging the rest of the series, I'm up to date with the anime and I don't plan on reading the manga unless they cancel the anime, as for my favourite character, probably Aqua, really love all of his acting scenes.

I first heard about the anime around the time it came out. I think it was the opening that I heard first, on social media, and then saw lots of clips of the two babies dancing. I got curious, and here we are. ^^

I'm usually an Anime-only viewer, but I'm planning on reading the manga at some point~

Definitely Hoshino Aquamarine! I loved him from the start! I only wish he had kept his "stars" and kept trying to get to the truth. But now it got "transferred" to his sis and well...
Anyway, I can't wait to watch Season 3!

Favorite music/movie/other?
- I like most genres, but K-pop and J-pop are up there. I've been getting into C-pop too, lately.
- I have my favs listed on my profile. But apart from them, I watched a chinese movie a while ago called "The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity" and I loved it a lot!
- I'm a big crime and mystery lover, so I like to read murder mysteries and such.
- I also love reading wuxia and xianxia, and any martial arts-related webtoons.
