I think I have a new favorite team... The team uses all top-tier characters, so you'd think I'm severely gimping my other side. But nope, this team finishes so fast, I'm still clearing with absolute cope teams on the other side, with time to spare. Ironically, Skirk is currently the best character to get on my account lol because she lets me have this kind of performance on both sides with just a single 5* get.  |

It's a bit lower than the premium team and the energy is a bit tighter, but we're talking about a team that does ~5% lower than the team that can clear 2~3 times over in the time allowed. I initially thought about this team, but I'm jumping through all of these hoops to avoid using Bennett. Only-waifu teams are encouraged in this household. Xilonen is still my go-to in Mavuika teams, despite not having the highest DPS with her anymore, due to comfort. A character who can heal, charge my C0 Mavuika to 100% all by herself and proc Fav twice per rotation is just too comfy to use. Also, the fact that this team can charge Mavuika to 100% without using a single burst is absolutely amazing for reaching damage thresholds at the end of chambers. It's physically impossible to start any chamber without full energy with this team. But yeah, a lot of this doesn't apply to high cons Mavuika. |

  I do hope the final preset is customizable. I can probably tweak the filters enough to get the results I want eventually, but that would be extra finicky for no reason. It's already WuWa's loadouts but with 10 extra steps, because we can't just do what the players want, can we. EDIT:  This is fucking worthless. I want presets because I DON'T WANT TO FIDDLE WITH MY SHIT EVERY TIME I WANT TO CHANGE SOMETHING. |

Can't wait to play it. - WuWa trailer was pretty cool. - Lies of P Overture DLC - Man, I really wanna play this game. - Deadpool VR - VR slop. Good VR slop tho - Acts of Blood - Looks like Sifu. Pretty cool. - 007 - Hitman devs working on a 007 game is cool, BUT LOOK AT MADS' HAIR, DAMN! - RE9 - Village was kinda disappointing after the masterpiece that was RE7, but this one looks very promising. - Wuchang - Looks very good for a Soulslike, but the music is AMAZING. No trailer music has left such an impression on me in a long time. No P4 Remake announcement was very surprsing to me. | Pretty good. The magnets are surprisingly satisfying and sturdy yet easy to remove with the press of a button, a lot more seamless than the Switch 1. Console doesn't feel cheaply made. HDR is very nice, works with my monitor. Tried the mouse controls while playing Welcome Tour and it is indeed like a mouse, wish I could play Metroid Prime 4 right now. Games like Mario Odyssey and Echoes of Wisdom run flawlessly, I'll likely delete the roms from my PC since they're just taking up space at this point. |

| Probably have time to finish P4G before P4Revival comes out. Already starting summer vacation with Teddie and Rize just joining. I already watched the anime so I know the mastermind but I'm paying attention if there's clues given out. Knowing that makes me not want to do his social links at all. And playing the Atlus games backwards makes me appreciate the quality of life of the newer games. Especially with the party lineup switching. Need to check P3R next to see how it is as a remake. But I have a lot on my plate aside from the gacha games. Still want to play that Clair Obscur soon. Already bought it when it was still discounted but I haven't installed it yet. And I just got the new Rune Factory game too. There's also Pokemon Legends Z-A on October. |

If you want to look from the glass half-full perspective, this system may guarantee a perfect artifact once per region. Adding to that, to use it optimally, you need to use it on 4-line artifacts that rolled miserably. Statistically, you have never kept such artifacts, so this will only be beneficial going forward, and it's not going to improve what you currently have. OK, Stellar Blade first impressions.  - Gameplay: Why is the parry/dodge system so ass? I think this is the first action game with a perfect parry system that doesn't have instant parry animation that I've ever seen. I kept wondering why I kept failing the parry despite pressing almost frame-perfect, until I realized that you have to parry early, because by the time the enemy hits you, Eve has finished some amount of her parry animation and reached the point in the animation where the parry starts counting. This means it's not enough to parry on reflex, you have to memorize the animation of the enemies to some degree to not fail the parry. And to add to that travesty, I could barely see any animation canceling. Instead, moves tend to freaking queue, probably due to some internal input lag. This feels dangerously close to how a fast-paced MMO plays. Considering that they're aping Automata so much, Eve doesn't really feel as snappy and immediate as 2B. Overall, the combat doesn't feel satisfying. I can see that the combat gets somewhat faster and more responsive in the Boss mode, where they unlock a lot of the skill tree, but it still didn't meet my expectations. - Graphics and performance: Game looks great and runs amazingly. On my RTX 3070, I ran everything at High, 1440p, DLSS on Quality, no FG, and I was almost never below 110 FPS. I can switch to DLAA and play at a locked 60 FPS if I wanted to. Though, this game really needs an FoV slider. I get the "artistic decision" to get the camera close to Eve for "reasons", but it's pretty frustrating getting attacked from outside my screen in group battles. This better be a mod, if it doesn't get updated by the devs themselves. - Music and Voice: Music is Nier from Temu, which is still fine. Nothing jumps at me as memorable, though. Voices are very bad IMO. Switched to JP after the first setpiece. - Story: Demo is too short to judge, but I wasn't too intrigued by what I saw. And when they called the monsters "Natives", I started checking out. - Will I buy the game? At the current state, no. I'll keep an eye out for future updates and mods that may fix some of my issues I have with the game, then get it on a sale. If these issues are never addressed, I may not even bother pirating the game if it got cracked. |

Cartwheel stonks! WuWa reaching new all-time player peak on Steam with release of 2.4, and became Top 5 Best Seller. Speaking of which, somehow omega lucked into S1R1 lol. May consider just buying S2 from the shop if I like her gameplay enough. IIRC S2 eliminates the need for Aerover, so that's probably worth it, we'll see. ----------------------------- EDIT: If there was somehow any doubt before, WuWa is a PC/Console game first, second and third. Compute/graphical resources aside, this is not the level of detail you create with a 6" phone screen in mind. Best 4th slot are (in no order): C4 Mona - Yelan - Sig Citlali - Mualani - Shenhe. And once again, C4 Mona may end being your stable in case the new mode forces you to use Furina on another team. BTW Yelan is amazing, but don't factor Cryo resonance if she's on your team. She applies a crap ton of Hydro, so she ends up eating all of the Cryo aura on the enemies. Cryo resonance uptime is probably less than 20%. |

Yeeeeaaaah, this new endgame mode Difficulty 6 isn't meant for players like me. 180 seconds shared between all bosses is not doable for non-whales. | You can coop, but you only get the rewards in Diff 5 (artifacts reroller) and 6 (weapon skins) if you clear solo. Also, no matchmaking in 5&6. You can only coop with players in your world in said rewardless for-fun attempts. |
| Oh, so coop is basically pointless then. I remember people were hyping up coop for this mode and making character tierlists with coop in mind, now that's kinda a joke. Oh well. |
| It's good if you just want hard content with friends. Playing with friends is fun in of itself, and that's the reward. Whales would want the solo for showing off anyway, so they prefer it this way. It's also great for content creators; free content and collabs. F2P and low spenders will suffer some FOMO, but that's par for the course lol. Personally, I'm ok with some damage dummies for testing. I know I can't get the whale rewards in Diff 6, and I honestly don't care to. |

I feel like this character trailer has the opposite problem of Mavuika's. Mavuika's had a great song, but the visuals didn't really match. This has great visuals, but the song is the most tired anime shit ever. I used to say that Genshin's best music is all in the trailers. This has clearly not been the case for a while now. I listen to bangers like Faruzan's and Ei's trailer tracks from time to time. I don't see myself doing the same for Xilonen's or Skirk's. Meanwhile, the game has tracks like this now: Now this is offline-listening worthy. |

I'm honestly not sure. There are pros and cons to getting her. The biggest pros are that she's the first Cryo DPS in the lineup of post-Fontaine powercreep AND that I happen to have her entire premium team ready and maxed on my account already, including Shenhe. And because I have Esco at C1R1, my Skirk won't even be that tied to Furina, giving my account an additional team with no overlap with other teams I already use. The biggest con is basically how restrictive she is going forward, and makes me question her actual life span in the meta. Going to Nod-Krai may mean that we'll have at least a year before she gets sidelined in her niche and not have her be Arle 2.0, but... they've already done it once, and I don't trust them to not do it again. There's also the fact that Skirk teams are that good mostly due to Esco, which makes Skirk not that big of an upgrade over Ayaka in terms of DPS. Though, chartacter overlapping in niche isn't as big of an issue as it used to be with the endgames they're introducing wanting more teams/characters. All that, and the leaked v5.8 EC character "Inef" seems incredibly interesting, at least with what limited info we have of her so far. She seems to be a shielder Electro-charged Nilou, with none of the restrictions, and the power budget of Chiori/Emilie. Currently, I have enough summons to reach pity in Skirk's banner. I'll throw some at her banner and see what happens. |
