| iirc, Evangelion was supposed to be like the anti-thesis to mecha and anime in general. That worked out pretty well. |

| Code Geass was superb. Technically the first I watched was this show called Daimos, I think it falls under mecha. |

| My first mecha was FMP, but I dropped it after 2 minutes 'cause LOL ROBOTS. Then I gave mecha a chance with Gundam Seed, and instantly fell in love with the genre. |

| I watched the first 2-3 eps of TTGL before I joined MAL and just couldn't get into it and just kept putting it off. Probably feel different if I try now. |
| The only shows I remember dropping and picking back up again are Bleach and Turn A Gundam. |
