This weekend I finished Voice. I really loved the series overall... then agian, I almost went into a kind of similar field for a career so I find stuff like forensics very interesting. Hmmm... 8.5/10?

Just now I watched the Zettai Kareshi SP. Omigoddddd talk about 2 hours of my life I'll never get back. D: I have no clue why I even watched it... I guess 'cause I don't like to leave things unfinished so I'm bound to watch specials if I watched the series.

But I'm gonna go watch the first episode of Atashinchi no Danshi which I've been really looking forward to, soo... I'm glad that I saved that until after the ZK special. Lol I guess I had a feeling that it would be disappointing. XD

Triangle. In the end it wasn't so much about the mystery, but about the people it affected. It kind of annoyed me because the show seemed to go nowhere for a long time.

I finished Around 40 last night! I really loved it and i couldnt stop watching, but i have to say i was expecting a more "typical happy ending" than the one i got. so it wasnt as satisfying as i expected, but still a very good and addictive drama

besides, fujiki naohito = win :)

Just finished Fuma no Kojiro. The series was a little bit rushed, and it wasn't the best drama that I've seen, but it was still pretty good. It was also a nice introduction to tokusatsu (special effects) drama. 8/10

The Funeral.

It had some amusing moments, but for the most part was pretty boring. Realistic... but lacked the charms of Itami Juzo and Miyamoto Nobuko's later films.

yea to me last princess was really good, abe hiroshi did a good job, so did matsu jun...but theres never a time where he cant act tho..plus the action in the movie was also pretty good. i wasnt bored at all watching the movie

just finished sukiyaki western django......i give it a 8/10
it could have been about 10 times better if it wasnt in english
it held back the great actors from doing there absolute best
with that said, there were some stars that i was surprised to see was able to speak english really well
kimura yoshino, she can speak english fluently probably as good as she was sounding
same goes for ito hideaki, kagawa teruyuki and iseya yusuke (sounds a little australian)
BUT
sato koichi and sakai masato were casualties

I just finished H2 last night. I loved this series so much! Yamada Takayuki was SOOO hot and amazing as hiro. And my inner mitsuru adachi fangirl absolutely LOVED this adaptation of h2. I'm hoping the manga is just as cute, cause the anime certainly wasn't :) the cute moments in it made me squeal they were just adorable! I loved Koga and hiro x)

Just make sure you distinguish between movies from [mainland] China and Hong Kong. Chinese movies are in Mandarin and Hong Kong movies are in Cantonese. Infernal Affairs is a Hong Kong movie.

And IA HAS been released in North America, only just on DVD.

Virgin Snow > Friends. Rather than some big cultural comparison, Virgin Snow is an honest-to-goodness love story where stuff like language and country of origin have little weight. Plus, it had Lee Jun Ki and Miyazaki Aoi! WAY better pair of actors than Won Bin and Fukada Kyoko, by far.

Story wise it was kind of meh, but I ended up enjoying Min and Nanae's cute little love story.

And now I've watched Ichi. Ayase Haruka is a great actress... though in my experience she lacks personality when she's not acting in a movie or drama. The rest of the cast was meh. I despised the leader of the Banki, because the actor just SUCKED.

Not a great movie but alright.

the leader of banki WAS terrible, why did they cast him there when they had kubozuka yosuke in that movie who could have easily KILLED that role in his sleep

^ That is so true! I was really excited to see Kubozuka Yosuke in another movie but they give him such a dull role. He seemed nothing more than a slightly rebellious teenager. It sad to see such a great actor stuck in a role like that. I know he can play an amazing villain too because he was so scary in Makai Tensho, even though it wasn't a very memorable movie.

Sigh.

I think if he seriously wanted to pursue acting full time it's been long enough that the balcony (and suspected drug use) incident is pretty much forgotten. That was in 2004, wasn't it? It's been 5 years. But right now he's also seriously pursuing a career in music and so acting isn't high on his priority list. He does reggae/hip hop as Manji Line. XD Weird, but not that bad. http://www.manjiline.com/

I want a sequel too! They weren't able to wrap it up properly because the manga is still running. I don't think the ratings were quite high enough for them to do a sequel, but I hold out hope.

Just watched the Honey and Clover movie. It was SO good. the casting was so good (sho as takemoto was <3, and all the other actors were perfect fits). Some of my favorite parts were left out, but it makes sense since the movie was so short. But overall it really had the right atmosphere for honey&clover, and I enjoyed it a lot. Oh, and the music was so perfect and mellow <3. Just like the anime OST was. Great adaptation, in my opinion :)

I thought Sho was pretty much a fail as Takemoto. Ikuta Toma, though the drama was pretty bland, fitted the role way better. I liked who they cast as Morita. Narimiya Hiroki was completely the wrong choice in the drama. BLEH!

Still, the movie is way better than the failed drama version, and pretty good overall.

i thought sho made a good takemoto. It didn't seem like a good fit at first but he defenitely played the role well. Toma did fit the role... i guess.. but considering I hate his acting i didn't think it was a good fit, and it really didn't help me enjoy the drama :x the drama went the wrong way and tried to make it a comedy, which it's not. and ya, it really failed :x

edit: Watched the 1995 Hana Yori Dango movie. So bad. But soo funny. Fujiki Naohito was so young. and he made such an emo rui! xD Tanihara Shosuke was just o__o as domyouji. maybe if his hair had been curled..... hahahah.
