| Ledo After a few hours, he woke up. The vision in his left eye was blurry and it was hard to see out of it. At least he could see, he sighed in relief. |
| Rahkami, who had been checking on Ledo every hour comes to check on him, just to notice he is awake, "So, how is your sight?" She asks |
| Ledo Blurry but there, he says to her. |
| "Well that's good, now just get rest, i'll get your medication planned so we get it rolling" Rahkami says |
| Ledo He nods and lays back in the bed, relaxing himself. He thinks back to how he got his injuries... He had been drunk, then said something to Sabriel... Who then started to beat him, near to the point of death, he didn't know she hated him to that extent. (He is wrongly remembering the memories btw, make things interesting) |
| "Do you mind if i ask couple questions while making the medication plan?" Rahkami asks, having a blank piece of parchment in front of her and quill and ink |
| Ledo He doesn't say anything, signaling that she could. |
| "So, do you have any aching or pain?" Rahkami asks |
| Ledo Pretty much everywhere... he says, closing his eyes. |
| "So pain medication... Do you remember what happened before you ended up here?" Rahkami asks |
| Ledo He breathes in, [b]Well, I was drunk and I said something to Sabriel. It is all a blur but the next thing I know, I'm outside and she is beating me to death... |
| "Wait a second, beating you? That isn't possible, she had been here for a while when you were brought in, and judging by your injuries, if she had beaten you to that point before coming here, you would be dead right now, i have to think what i do with that problem" Rahkami explains |
| Ledo He shook his head, No. I remember her beating me... He says quietly, a small migraine attacked him and he grunted. |
| "I just have to say that is impossible, also you were found near the tavern, because the tavernkeep brought you here" Rahkami says |
| Ledo He didn't say anything, he knew that she attacked him. He remembered it. |
| "Do you feel something else being out of ordinary, anything?" Rahkami asks |
| Ledo I've been getting continually migraines after hitting my head, he says to her. |
| "Hmm, that might be serious, i have to look for some kind of medication towards it, or otherwise i might need to go for surgery" Rahkami says writing down the migraines as a note to self |
| Ledo He continues to lie down, not saying anything. |
| "I take that as a no then, well that's all for now, if you need anything, just call, i'll be at my office" Rahkami says and heads to her office |
| Ledo He closes his eyes and falls back asleep. |
| Rahkami sits on her chair and starts thinking on what she will do with Ledo's migraines and messed up memory |
| After hours of sleeping he wakes up, he looks up at the ceiling, his left eye was still blurry but it was much better than it had been. |
| Rahkamis face brightens up as she gets an idea and starts working on the medicine |
| Ledo He groans and tries to rise from the bed. |
| Rahkami doesn't hear Ledo and keeps on working the medicine "Hmm... just three drops of Punor and it's done" She says to herself |
| Ledo He stumbles from the bed and towards the door, groaning as he does so. The dull ache of a migraine slowly chasing after him. |
| Rahkami picks up the medicine and starts heading towards Ledo's bed when she notices Ledo up "Oh no you don't back to your bed!" She says and blocks Ledos way |
| Ledo Move, I'm fine, he mumbles out to her. |
| "No you're not, don't even give me that crap... like i wouldn't know that better than you" Rahkami said "If you won't get back to bed now, i'm putting you there with force" She adds |
| Ledo He grumbles and gingerly lowers himself back into the bed. |
| Rahkami fills couple needles with some medicines and walks up to Ledo "So let's see here, first the pain medication" She says and injects the medicine without asking or warning |
| Ledo He doesn't give any sign that he felt it, he was now use to her rough treatment. |
| "Then the medication for you messed up memory and concussion" Rahkami says and injects the other medicine, the medicine kicks in almost instantly really messing up with your mind when it starts to fix it, just what is all this stuff that she uses on you "You will propably lose your conciousness in a while, don't be scared of the side effects when you wake up, they're harmless but uncomfortable" She says vaguely and sits down to monitor Ledo |
| Ledo Ledo slowly started to fall asleep, but he was trying to stay awake, Why would she do it? he mumbles, tears slowly making their way down his face. He then loses consciousness and sinks into the abyss of his mind, tendrils of thought and emotion snake past his sleeping mind, trying to latch on and form dreams, either they be fleeting or long. One managed to sink its claws in and grip him, take him to a different place in his mind. His mother crouched beside him, smiling and helping him plant a flower, he always did love nature. She was talking to him, he concentrated at the inaudible words became audible, One day you'll fall in love, but that feeling may not go both ways, they may hurt you, run away from you. But if you truly love them, you will forgive them and... she trails off as Ledo's father comes into view, he smiles at his son. He had just returned from hunting and had a couple rabbits hanging from his belt, his mother clapped in delight and stood up, hugging his father, Oh how wonderful! We will have an excellent dinner! She exclaims, Ledo jumps up and hugs his Dad, Will you teach me to shoot too? He asks, to which his father laughs and nods. But then a small flame could be seen, burning on one of the rabbits. Ledo tried to call out to them but his voice was gone, instead a raspy scream escaped him as they were engulfed in flame, the surrounding with them. Everything burning and the tattoo of the Orc tribe hung floating in the air with Sabriel's face beside it, no, it wasn't Sabriel's face, it was similar, perhaps her mother's. He cried as everything he loved burned and he piled the blame and hate on the images in the sky. |
| Rahkami is sitting next to Ledo monitoring him "Everything seems alright for now... that's good, now it is up to him to get his memory arranged correctly" She mumbles to herself and looks out of window, it was dusk "This will be long night" She says and quickly gets ingredients for cofffee and starts brewing it while monitoring Ledo |
| Ledo His memories slowly begin to restore themselves, but not in the way that Rahkami had hoped. Now he could vividly remember Sabriel beating him, shouting at him and spitting at him. |
| (So we lost the gamble.... damn :D) Rahkami takes a sip from the coffee she brewed and examines the notes she has written up about Ledo |
| ledo Ledo lays sleeping on the bed, his thoughts now more vivid than ever. |
| Rahkami takes another sip from her coffee and flips a page on her notes |
| Ledo After a few hours he wakes up and looks at Rahkami, [b]Are my migraines fixed? |
| "They should be, but first of all, what do you remember about last day" Rahkami asks, just to make sure the memories fixed correctly |
| Ledo The same, but more vividly... he mutters, looking away. |
| Rahkami sighs out of disappointment "So we lost the gamble. Well only thing i could advice you is forget about those events and continue on like they never happened." She says and writes something down on her notes |
| Ledo He scoffs, [b]Like I could forget that the person I lov- that Sabriel beat me nearly to death. |
| Rahkamis raises an eyebrow when she notices what Ledo was about to say "Love? well, if you love her, it should just make the forgetting easier" She says |
| Ledo I don- He starts to say something but stops, How would it make forgetting easier? |
| "You know that memory is fake, you've been told that many times. When you got injured, you propably got concussion and lost the memories of that moment, your brain tried to fix the memory but i guess that because you have such strong feelings towards Sabriel, it might have effected the memory building process. The medicine i used was supposed to force your brain through that process again, but something just keeps on interrupting the process. But how would it help you forget? well since you know that memory is false, you can keep your focus out of it when with Sabriel, at least this is my theory" Rahkami explains "Oh and don't worry, i won't tell Sabriel about your feelings towards her" she adds |
| Ledo Much appreciated, he mumbles to her. I find it ironic that I'm talking about romance with a woman who ripped me open. |
| Rahkami sighs "She didn't, she was here when you got beaten up" she says damn i hate memory problems she thought |
