| The feeling of uncertainty crawled it’s way towards me. It reached it’s long and horrifying claws and looked at me square in the eye as if it knew that it could overpower me. With a sudden instant, it enveloped me into a cocoon of loneliness and despair, a feeling I had not experienced in a long time. At that moment, my body became sensitive, petrified by the thundering sound of the pouring rain pounding on my window and the wind which seemed to be whipping violently outside. I closed my eyes slightly, unsure of myself, and pressed my knees against my chest aggressively. “God, please help me.” My voice sounded unfamiliar to my ears, as if it was camouflaged by a fossilized child who communicated with a flocculent voice. One that seemed to have quite the amount of misfortune wherever she roamed. “I have heard your plea, dear child. How may I help you?” He spoke out to me in a fathomless tone - it sounded comforting. I could no longer hold back the tears of soulfulness I wished to shed. They quickly began streaming down my face - a tacit answer I thought. |
