You were saving for months for something, but lady luck told you that a simple purchase from the Academy Marketplace wouldn't be enough to satiate your fancy for taking big risks with a faint shot at a big reward. It wasn't customary to gamble in broad daylight, but in a kingdom so spacious, the opportunity had to exist, right? To the left of the Marketplace you spot what looked almost like a crack in the wall, more like the oversight of a carpenter's shabby repairs than an architect's intent. Still, curiosity drew you in closer. Near the crack you realized it was just wide enough to fit a person walking through single file, straight into to darkness. Where would it take you? It was a dead end, but the dead end was far from fruitless. Atop a makeshift wooden table were two turn-wheels, and behind them sat a man with long strands of hair casting a shadow over his eyes. He wore a purple hooded cape and his eyes were downcast. For a split second it seemed as if his eyes glowed red, like a man possessed by a dark force manipulating his every whim, and just a second later, the aura fled. "Name's Lyon. Here for a spin?" He motioned towards the turn-wheels and stated the stakes. You felt the keys in your pouch grow heavier as you eyed the turn-wheels. You were in the mood for a gamble. Little did you know that this was a steep and slippery slope straight into gacha hell.
