The Dark Legion

A Dark Pulse of energy seems to radiate from Reianne Forest. The immense wave of Dark Power corrupts many people who were not protected by the barrier or some form of power. Many villlages are plunged into chaos, many are lost, but yet, some still remain. Shadow-Fallen are more prominent now than ever because of this sudden burst of dark power. But this is not the only problem. More types of spawn have begun appearing. A large variety has been unleashed, as well as an entirely new breed of Darkness. We dont know anything about this new threat. Approach with caution.

A New Arrival

The entire Daedrom Desert has been completely surrounded in a sky-high barrier of unknown origin. The entire area is now inaccessible to all, yet even from the city, the barrier can be seen. Denying access to all who seek entry. Strange gates are opening up everywhere. Reports indicate that they hold a similar design to the Gate found previously in the Daedrom Desert. So far, one has been discovered in the Draxian Plains, Lyphian Mountains, Frozen Spears, and the Phlegethon Delta. Rumors speak of one in the Reianne forest area, but these are unconfirmed.

The Alpha's Roar

A loud roar echoes across the land. It could be heard from anywhere in this plane, and the very ground shook in its wake. A new monster has appeared, and its huge. To our knowledge, it hasnt left the beach, but it has an army of spawn around it. Its abilities are unknown. Its strength is unknown.

The dark pulses from Reianne forest are growing stronger. Something is happening. We dont know what, but it is not good for us. Be careful if you investigate. Our scouts have not returned. And we believe they may have died. The Dread Lords are believed to be the source.

The Red Tower Rises

Among the Reianne Forest, where a powerful storm howls, and a powerful dark energy was resonating, a powerful influx of energy suddenly occurs. A massive Rupture. Bigger than anything this world has ever endured rocks the entire forest, as a black pillar of Void-Rupture rises into the sky, unleashing massive amounts of dark power and Xera. After the rupture ceases, the storm is gone, and a clear sky is lef tin its wake. But something new stands where the rupture took place. A Dark Tower, a citadel for the darkness.

An Organized Offensive

Suddenly, and without warning, the Dread Knights attacked the Pillar of Lust. The Succubi and Inccubi fled the Tower as it began to fall. It disappeared into the hellmouth beneath it. Soon thereafter, the Lust Storm also fell.

The Pillar of Lust has fallen.

All Demon Re-Births are centered on the Pillar of Rage.

He Who Brings the Night

Vern' Octos springs to life upon the pending threat of Krop' Tor's offensive, as the Dread Lords attempt to bring forth a new breed of evil. Segments of Vern' Octos break off and spin around the tower, locking into place and the tower shudders violently. A single beam of dark energy fires into the sky, ripping open a hole in the fabric of Space, a massive one. Massive amounts of dark energy are released into the world as the Tower connects to the Dark Domain. A single object is seen falling from the hole in the sky and the gap closes with a thundering bang.

Solar Flare

High in the sky on a relatively normal day, the sun suddenly releases a wave of its energy into space, giving off a bright explosive view in the sky. It was as if the crust of the sun had been blown off, and all that plasma was cast into space, giving off a brilliant ring of sunlight around the star. Scientists are quick to label this as the single largest solar flare in recorded history. They say that a massive amount of the radiation will hit the Earth in a day. The frozen regions up north were predicted to be hit very hard, so a warning has been issued to that region. Fortunately, none of the 12 cities are up there.

An Emergency Warning is being broadcast to all MHPT warning people of an impending Solar Storm. Seek shelter from the radiation spikes when it arrives. Advisories to evacuate areas like the Frozen Spears and Lyphian Moutnains have also been issued.

Ira Solis

The anticipated Solar Storm hits as fire blasts across the sky, shedding radiation onto the earth. Though it did much more than that. They expected the Spears and Mountains to be hit hard, but not like this. A single concentrated beam of sunlight and radiation blasted the surface of these biomes, and a wave of fire swept across and destroyed everything. The only thing that remained was the Base of Krop' Tor's legion. Everything else was vaporized in the heat and reduced to smoldering glass.

Balls of fire landed across the world, creating craters. yet any remains of the objects are yet to be found. One of these objects are confirmed to have collided with the residential area of Eru. Reports are still coming in, but severe damage was done to the neighboring structures. The impact is said to have killed ten people. Including 3 Children, Two Mothers, a Father, an elderly couple, and two young males.

The Lyphian Mountains and Frozen Spears have been completely destroyed. Only the shape of the land remains.

The Xoul have arrived

The Great Titan

A loud bellowing roar is heard throughout the land as a new breed of evil comes forth. A pillar of dark energy pours out of the gate bringing forth this monster and from it comes forth a Titan many times larger than anything we have ever seen. Standing at an estimated 300 meters, this monstrosity stands nearly ten times the height of a titan. From the city, you can see it and it can see the city. It begins lumbering towards the city from afar, putting fear into the hearts of the people. It is currently crossing the Jungle area in the far ends of the Reianne forests. On a direct course for Eru.

Colossus has awoken.

Another Taste of the Evil they Breed

The Dread Lords have left the Tower at high speeds and have engaged the Titan known as Colossus. After a shockingly quick fight, the Titan lets out a massive roar and turns into a large plume of black vapors. Its core does not drop on the ground. Instead the twelve encricle it and guide it to the Red Tower. Placing the second most powerful Kaaos Shard in existence inside the Tower's focal point, the Darkness prepares for something big.


Colossus has been slain.

The Red Tower's Revenge

After charging up the core of Colossus with the heart of vern' octos, the Dread Lords begin the ritual. A single column of concentrated Kaaos energy would fire up into the sky and sendshockwaves into the environment, releasing two waves of Xera energy into the air. This cannnot end well...

The Red Tower has activated a Ritual. Its effects are unknown.

Fate's Retreat

Under direct orders from his God, the Precursor responsibole for the lockdown and war at the Desert has withdrawn into the Void once again. The Desert it riddled with ancient, broken sets of Voidstone armor from the precursor Knights and Watchwers who fell

The Daedrom Desert is now open once again.

Curse of Eternal Night

High in the sky, just as the sun aligns at noon with the Pillar of Kaaos fired by Vern Octos, the sun releases yet another solar flare, topping the last one, as it send more Xoul on a collision course for earth. This was its dying breath, as the beam hits the crust of the sun, and the beam turns black. In an instant, the bright light of the sun is overtaken, and a dark layer of night covers the day. The beam of energy stops firing and a direct beam of light from the sun hits Vern Octos, where it is trapped within the Tower. Leaving the dead star to cast its light no more.

The light of the sun has been taken, and the world is now plunged into the shadows of night.

Shadow spawn are becoming faster, stronger, and more abundant in this new darkness.

Nightmares are becoming more frequent.

Terravores are coming out to feed.

The calm before the storm...

Every light in Eru goes out simultaneously, but instead are replaced with a shimmering evil in the air. producing a very unnerving light. Something that would make you on edge and ready to jump at anything unusual. A primer for the coming terror. Beyond the walls of Eru, pools of black... substance begin forming, and droplets of this liquid(?) substance begin to rise up into the air slowly. The pools continue growing, very quickly forming a moat of darkness around Eru. Cutting of the ability to leave or enter. Somehow, the pools run deeper than a sea. and anyone who steps into them will be dragged into the dark and become one with the Children. There is no escaping.

Access to Eru is cut. There is no way in or out.

Flying is impossible within Eru.

A Terrible curse has fallen upon the light. Vision beyond 30n meters in any direction is to distorted to see past.

The Black Pools of Bile are encroaching upon the walls. It wont be long till they get past the safe zone.

There will be only Darkness...

Several installations just outside the barrier report encountering a swarm of minion-like creatures. Only three survivors are reported. All are blinded, and with cuts all over them. One was vomiting some black bile. All were insane. The bile outside of the city reaches to the barrier and then fountains of this black bile erupted within the barrier, dark birds flying up and a fountain of the bile spews forth. These dark minions begin emerging from these fountains, and crawling from the expanding pools of darkness. They come in large numbers, quickly dispatched, but innumerable. The headmaster sounds a siren, warning all of the attack. But it is too late. The fountains begin appearing inside the walls within the residential district, and mass fighting breaks out. Chaos breaks out in the residential district.

If the Invasion Reaches the central tower, Eru will fall. Defend the city at all costs!

All that you are...

Having been driven to the point of near defeat, the entitiy that attemted to lay seige to Eru begins performing a ritual. In the Plains around the city, and the city itself the earth rumbles, and the bile that spawned the children and the children themselves all evaporate into a thick heavy fog and seems to be directed into the city, forming a heavy black mist in the area, though not to obscure visibility, as the Blighted Glow still illuminates everything with a dreadful light. But the dark shroud encircles the battlefield, preparing for one last effort. Within this vale, lies all of Denial's vast power.

The way to Eru is clear

All hostile units except the Guardian itself are gone.

Victory

Having been defeat, Denial flees, leaving the residential district of Eru in a terrible state. Large squads of construction teams begin the repair effort. Denial was last seen heading north-east. Quickly. The Headmaster sends another announcement sounding the all clear.

Denial has been driven off.

A feast is being held in celebration of this victory at the Cafeteria.

An announcment to all of Eru is being broadcast.

The Screams of a Dying World...

Once again, the Tower activates. Massive energy spikes radiate from its summit. A sudden and powerful beam of energy pierces the sky, ripping open a hole. Creating a black void above the tower. Horror and malice radiate from this gap like a generator. Long trails of vapor emerge from this hole as darkness begin coming in. Vern Octos is preparing for something big. Something terrible.

A Bridge has been formed.

With Great Power...

As the Dread Lords begin collecting Perfect Kaaos Shards, they begin widening the bridge so that these cores can strengthen their bond with their creator. This begins amping up the power to every and all Shadow Spawn in all of the world. Though they dont seem to be tougher. The spawn are more red and glowy now. Their eyes burn more brightly then ever before. The extra power is good for humans, but the Dread Lords are harvesting these juiced up cores for whatever they need them for.

The Dread Lords are hunting Perfected Spawn.

All Kaaos Shards now give 10x their original XP values until further stated.

The Final Trump

As the tower is in the middle of a massive ritual, enough to raise the World-Xera levels by a whoping 20%, a deep, bass, sound is heard from the mountains recently devastated by the solar strike. It is the sound of a loud, and mighty horn. This was the sound of the Final Trumpet. The call of the end days. Given to Krop' Tor by his god to allow the Angels to enter a world. Originally to be used in the prophesied end of times, this was also a use for it. The horn that could be heard in heaven hell and earth was the call to arms. The earth shook around the tower and a great thundering shout rolls across the forest as radiant light shines through cracks in the sky. Enough so that the entire tower was bathed in the light. Angels descend from the sky and engage with the beings at the top of the tower. The sound of the angel's singing can be heard from afar, their battle-hymns and Strike Notes lashing out at the darkness atop the Tower. Now with the signal, they can act.

Michael and Gabriel have descended.

A Bright light shines down n the tower and miles around it.

The sound of Angelic sound is heard across the earth. Soothing those of light, and burning the ears of the dark.

And even the stars will turn their gaze...

As the bridge strengthened between the earth and the dark domain, the hole in the sky pulsed. Sending waves of black across the already black sky. After ten pulses, all the stars in the sky seem to fade away, leaving only the sun and moon behind. The flow of incomprehensible energies replace the starry sky as it appears that the world was aligning itself to the Dark Domain. Like a tether pulling the two closer to each other. The sight of the malevolnce flowing in the sky is enough to cause anyone great fear. Even those who do not have the capacity to feel it would find themselves experience it for the first time. The flux of raw evil and darkness just beyond the sky, visible to all on earth.

Looking at the sky brings a horrible feeling of raw terror even to those who cannot feel such things.

The Darkness is Isolating the world.

Everyone can feel something nagging at them. Something big was coming.

Black Blade

A sudden sky quake comes from the mountains, splits appear in the night sky as a massive shattering sound rings through the hemisphere. A large visible crack in the sky has apeared over the mountains, as if the fissures in glass. Then a quake and a bright fiery glow for a moment, as a mountain explodes. What little wildlife that remains on the world cowers and retreats to a hiding place. Holy weapons begin burning bright, cursed weapons heat up and resonate with evil. Normal weapons vibrate.

An hour later, all communications with the Mountain city Feyn is lost. A pillar of smoke rises from its location. Energy from its barrier ceases.

Axedreas has fallen to earth.

Feyn has been destroyed.

11 Cities Remain

Legion's Fall

A plan is set into motion, and the Dread Lords flee the tower to a structure in the middle of the Sun-Scarred Spears. They form the Dominator, and prepare a great ritual, to which, Krop Tor was unaware. A being clad in robes and wielding the Blade that fell attacked his ship as a reverse diversion. Krop Tor, believing that this being was attempting to keep Them away from the ritual, left the ship to try and stop the ritual himself. The Dominator strike the pedestal with his blade, and a cage formed around them, getting smaller and smaller, forming a bubble of shadow around Krop Tor.

The being wielding the black blade then attacks the ship directly. And from the inside of the ship, flashes can be seen. Explosions on the exteriorappear through slices he cut into it with the sword.Shadows from around the world gather against the ship as it explodes, fighting back the explosion. Pushing it back inwards until its complete, leaving a debris field.

The Legion has been defeated.

The Hands of Judgement have lost infrastructure.

The Hands of Judgement are scattered and disoriented.

A Tangible horror looms in the air after this display of power on behalf of the Darkness.

Krop Tor is imprisoned.

Rise of a Dark Lord



From the darkness above, and the power of the red tower, a great light of red strikes the newly formed body of shadow forged by the dread lords, and Imbues the perfect Eye made by the Dread Lords to hold this perfect being. The Dread Lords all Kneel before the new creature, and across the world, pure silence fell as every spawn stopped their howling. And all turned to face the tower, and knelt in submission. To honor their King.

The great body begins to thrash and roar in ways that shocked even the angels, against the chains by which it was bound was futile. Eventually, the eye Set int the Crown that adorned a small portion of its face, and it stopped. The Dread Lords took stance to protect their master from the Angels, but seeing what had happened, the angels fled.

The Sky returned, revealing stars as the ritual finished. The Black Sun still hangs eerily in the sky.

A dark vision invades the minds of all Sentient beings on the planet;


The Bridge to Darkness has closed.

The forces allies against the darkness are not coordinated enough to launch an effective attack on the Red Tower to Subjugate the Dark Lord.

Ythima, the Dark Lord of Domination has been Freed.

The Spawn seem to be... calming down?''

10x XP event is over.

Radiance

At the Summit of the Red Tower, the Solar Cells are brought up, and opened. A bright beam f pure sunlight fires straight up, at the sun, illuminating the entire world for a brief moment. Yet another wave of energy sweeps through the world, coming from the Mind of Ythima. mostly directed at the Spawn. Though it wasnt exactly limited to them.




Spawn across the world if they were able, would block their own vision with anything. Even so much as face-planting into the ground if they had to.

And shortly after the light was freed, the sun would begin to emit a pure white light, which would overtake the darkness that had sealed it up.

Ythima begins to rise to his feet.

Spawn are becoming slower and less aggressive in the light of the Sun.

Nightmares are becoming rare again.

Terravores have for the most part returned to their Holes.

The Day has returned!

The Will of the Night

Spawn around the world pause for a moment as their lord takes hold. Their eyes burn bright red and they become increasingly aware as their king takes full dominion over their minds and bodies.



Shortly after, the Red Tower quivers and alters itself under its masters design. A soft cackle is heard within the minds of others.



All spawn are under Ythima's direct control.

The Red Tower is now open. No barriers block the way to its summit.

Dark Age

The central tower has been destroyed, and Ythima himself, now walks down One of Eru's main roads towards the center of the city. Eru's military tries to stop him, but against such a foe, they are easily beaten. Yet he does not kill them. He atomizes their weapons and defensive structures, yet leaves them unharmed. His seven knights are simply there for show. In his wake a Dread Lord follows. Who does serve a yet unascertained purpose in this.

Ythima is progresing down the streets.

Spawn surround Eru, kneeling to the king.

There will be no tears...

Ythima arrives in the center of the city, and raises a hand. High above the red tower, a Shadow Spawn is created. Something big. It faced downwards as it grew out from the one center. A single red eye staring down upon the city. From it extended out for miles three great tendrils. These tendrils went out almost to the city edges. from the center, many more tendrils spread out until it almost covers the sky. And from it cme a great voice that echoed into the city.



From all angles, beams of Kaaos broke down the walls of Eru.



The creature disappears and Ythima begins to leave. The Dread Lord staying behind in wait.

Eru is Governed by Calix.

Eru is completely exposed to the world. The spawn are roaming very close to the borders, marching in organized packs. But not entering.
