I am usually to much of a shut-in for most group things, but i will try my damnedest for my fellow Otaku. But i make no promises on me singing... well or at all..

Something we could do, is have an end of year/beginning of year thing. what it will be? no idea. but we could do something around then :P

Well, we could get together for laser tag and dinner between Christmas and New Years. Game/anime night with JulesRuby's punch sound good too.

OH!!! that sounds like a great idea!!! hmmm what kinda gaming are you talking about? im a hardcore otaku in the tabletop/pen and paper but most of you are not most likly.... hmm what about Wii or something, that sounds like fun to me. but again im a gaming nerd :P hmmm well i will try to get to what ever pops up, barring family and such. hmm... heck even if we just take over someones house to attack it with Wii games and Karaoke that would be fine with me :P i prefer personal get togethers more then having to at least act normal in public.

I've done PnP RPGs since about 1985, though its been well over a year now since my last group, and sadly most my 20+ years of gaming material disappeared with my ex. What I have left is some D&D 3.5e stuff along with d20 Modern, a very comprehensive collection of Mutants and Masterminds as well as True20 material, as well as some Mongoose RuneQuest books and the latest version of Chaosium's BRP. Oh, and my dice. I managed to hang on to my dice.

My gaming as of late has been confined to a PbP site, and I'm currently working on putting together a game there based on the animes Toaru Majutsu no Index and Toaru Kagaku no Railgun. I'd love to be able to game again with a live group one day.

i have to say im sorry for my earlier comment. i must realise that im with my own kind now (otaku) and not talking to mundanes :P but yah. im up for whatever, be nice to meet people. been in calgary about 4 years... met very few people with similar tastes sofar :P so im up for anything :P (wow, note to self, sound less pittiful:P )

Hey all -

Here are some event ideas:

We seriously need to go for karaoke @ Nanta's (for those members 18+).

There's the Japanese Animation Festival on March 6 & 7 in Camrose.

On April 24 & 25, there's the Calgary Comic Expo (there's anime and manga as well).

And of course, when Teiza comes back, we need to have our Games Day/night.

Let's start picking dates.
