| finally became able to play Oddworld New'n'Tasty (remaster with added features of Oddworld Abe's Oddysee originally out in 1997 for PS1) when its PS3 port was released at the beginning of june, one full year after the PS4 version. Immediately decided to have a "kill'em all" run (also called "maximum casualties") in which i would have had fun in wiping out the same mudokons i was supposed to save (at least 50% of them and they were 300 instead of 99 this time) in order to unlock the good ending, a thing i had already done multiple times with the original game and its sequel (Exoddus, favorite videogame in existence) in the 2000's. Too bad, this time there was no final still screen congratulating me or scolding me depending on the results... just a end credits scrolling scene with a (cool) original song playing. However, it was a cool experience to go through once again (including when i had a later serious run saving all the fellow workers) and became hyped when a sequel of New'n'Tasty was announced (even if it wasn't ready until early 2021) 2009 |

| During October or November, i went playing a exhibition basketball game on the road with my Under 14 roster, about 30 minutes away from home in a lakeside small town. Can't even remember if i played actual minutes, but what i easily recall is the fact that i was forgotten by the other teammates, coaching staff and other kids parents at the moment of departing. And it was late 1999, no one had a cell phone yet, most adults also still didn't. Luckily for me a couple of parents of a teammate (one of the strongest, and his older brother also actually played for 4 seasons combined in the major italian championship some years later) double checked and returned to the gym to pick me up before i was forced to beg for local people or bars to telephone home, since my parents didn't attend the match.
