Yes, I've been to the cinema to watch an anime movie and it was quite good! Sat down with popcorn and watched with full suround sound which was nice.

Too many to count; everything from classics to new releases. I love film a lot so seeing anime in theaters is a natural occurrence from going so much in general. I'm also fortunate to live near an art house theater that plays anime all the time.

I saw Your Name, Weathering with you and Suzume in the theatres. It is a fun experience. I like the bigger screen and the far better audio. But it takes far longer than watching it at home.

I've watched the all recent Dragon Ball and a couple My Hero movies in theaters. I dunno if the my Hero movies were that much better on big screen, but all the Dragon Ball movies were pretty cool to see that way.

Had some fun experiences going with my IRL weeb friend, but I don't think I'd want to go alone. The sound is too loud for my liking, and watching a fan-service scene in a room full of strangers was oddly embarrassing.

Yes, I have -- as both a watcher and a business runner. I've been a cinema manager at a local chain in my area for about 3 years. Our location doesn't get many anime movies, but when we do get them, they sell well. DBS Super Hero and Boy and the Heron sold quite well, while One Piece Red didn't do much. Lucky guys downtown... they had AX films last year, so they got stuff like Paprika and Cowboy Bebop.

Anyways, enough rambling. Personally, I'd say it's definitely an experience. A few years back I was invited to see the Kaguya-sama movie. Let me tell you... I've never seen a film showing where 90% of the crowd laughs at a movie. We might've just gotten lucky, but it's just like any other movie. A good crowd makes it a more fun experience.

Technically, I watched Spirited Away in movie theaters once. I was maybe 7 years old at oldest though and I don't remember a thing from neither the movie nor the theater so it may as well be as if I'd never watched it lol.

I might attend one eventually if a local place screens something I'm interested in but I don't really see the need to, I don't do well with movie theaters since the audio is always real loud near the front of the room but my vision sucks and I'll avoid wearing glasses any chance I get (I am very stubborn). Especially hate movie theaters when they're crowded. I think the ideal experience is watching anime on a TV at home, it's a big enough screen for it to somehow feel special but it's still in a private space where you can customize your viewing experience and don't have to worry about dealing with fellow moviegoers.

I watched Heaven's Feel III movie in cinemas when it came out in Australia. I was the only person in that room lol.

Experiencing the Saber vs Rider fight for the first time with audio filling the whole room left me speechless and with goosebumps. It was certainly the best movie experience I've probably ever felt.

I did twice and I can’t say it didn’t feel strange. I like watching on my devices so I can rewind in case I didn’t understand a part lol.

I watched the Pokémon movies as a kid, Spirited Away and The Boy and the Heron. It's the same difference from watching any film at home and at the cinema: generally nicer, but that's it. Where I live they don't screen anime movies often as far as I'm aware. But once I saw the entire first season of One Punch Man in a small theater during an event and that was much better than watching at home. The crowd was joking around so it felt like watching with friends even though I went by myself.
