The pacing has picked up, the story’s hitting hard, and things are getting way more exciting. Anyone else feeling the same? |

Nah man, while Lucky Cyan's arc was less action packed compared to other arcs, it was still perfectly fine. So many people are just sakuga junkies that get bored anytime an action series they're watching doesn't give them that fix. Her arc was much more character driven than action oriented and also progressed the plot a lot too. Each arc is "good", or at least adds value, in its own way. Different people will enjoy certain arcs more depending on what their tastes are. It just so happens that the biggest slice of anime fandom are casual action fans, which makes Lucky Cyan's arc less popular than other arcs since it has much less action.

Fr fr a lot of people were talking about this show in the first 3 episodes and now the show has peaked and I don't see anyone talking about it.

| I started this series because I listen to a lot of Hiroyuki Sawano's music on Youtube so the OP came up as a suggested video one day. It was a banger of a song so it made me curious to watch the actual series. I went into this completely blind and unspoiled on the story and unsure of what to expect, other than an awesome OST. The first arc was kinda cheesy and fast paced to me so I would say the pacing does take some getting used to, but once I understood it, the entire series became rather addicting to watch. I actually really liked the Lucky Cyan and Loli arcs lol :P Queen's arc wasn't as strong or as memorable to me as the others, though. The interconnected plots that seem separate on the surface with the non-linear storytelling reminds me of Baccano as the closest thing... But it's still distinctly different from that, too. It's definitely a unique series that took me some time to like and once I was hooked, I was HOOKED lol. |

| The past 4 episodes were straight 10/10 and I'm glad I kept watching. I think the art quality dropped a bit during Litte Johnny's arc and the storytelling was a bit lacking during queen and loli's arcs, but the way the show wrapped everything up during the expedition battle was just majestic and made me like pretty much all the characters despite E-Soul and Dragon Boy. Even Ghostblade proved to be redeemable. The anime is unique and it became even better than the early episodes when the hype was the biggest. Everyone who watched and liked EP 1-7 would absolutely love how this series developed till now. If anyone who dropped this reads my comment, please give the show another try. You won't regret it. |
| The problem of this anime, and it's a big, valid criticism, is that it tells the story from the back. Basically, it keeps showing us flashbacks. And those flashbacks eventually reach the present. WHEN it all comes together, it's awesome. But the producers are expecting too much from people to invest for a late-pay off. |

@MyllerPhiem I love non-linear storytelling similar to Pulp Fiction with all my heart and (e)soul. Some of my most favorite shows have used it; ie: Baccano and Durarara!
