| I like how this is a multi day hike but they are completely unprepared for travel. The princess didn't even bother to put on pants or anything and just kept a ball worthy dress on. I suppose given how forgettable everyone in this show is they can't take a risk and change someone's character design otherwise people wouldn't recognize them. This show continues to bleed into other shows. When it revealed the blue flame lord guy and he sounded just like an average high school student I thought "Ah, so there are other isekai'd leaders in this world. Then I remembered I wasn't watching Apocalypse Bringer. Love the fights in this show. The bad guy is just completely invincible to everything because magic or something. No one figured out any clever way to hurt him or anything he just stayed invincible. That Alchemist guy is a knob too. Mr "I can see through all your cheap tricks" and the bad guy just easily escapes because of a cheap trick. |
| I can't think of any anime where the "tank" type of characters use a shield, and only a shield, that's any better than just meh. It's a nonsensical trope. Letting them have a short sword or small mace or something would make perfect sense, but no, all they can do is run around with a shield. And I'm not counting Shield Bro since he has magic and other special abilities that make him highly versatile--though that show hasn't been any good since the first season. | What a terrible monster design. It manages to look both goofy and bland. Also he can only stop attacks he can see? So then how come he keep's blocking attacks to his back? Does he have eyes on the back of his head? |
| This is starting to reach 'so bad it's good' territory. They started falling, then stood around watching stuff happen--cue the SpongeBob "five minutes later" meme--"Oh look we're falling!" The ice guy could have just made an ice wall between them and the monsters at any time so they could get out of there. But no. If the ship needed a piece of the demon lord to power it why did it use balloons to keep it in the air? So none of them could have just cut the rope the demon guy grabbed to haul himself up to the ship? Showing all of them summoning their gear when they got to the ship was hilarious. They are milking that for all it's worth. |

| I wish they hadn't reminded us that there's an absurdly powerful group of adventurers nearby. It tends to kill the tension. But then again, if they show up to save the day then it won't be a deus ex machina situation, thanks to the foreshadowing. It will just be a really weak plot. |
| Well, there was a climax and an ending, so I'm satisfied. Things are left open for a sequel, and I hope I remember the characters if one comes out someday. There was bland clueless overpowered protagonist, fighter, tank, magician, archer, monster charmer, and ice guy. And Merlin. We learned that ancient magic is dangerous but given to some people just because, and other people should never try to use it unless they're bland clueless overpowered protagonists. It was adequately entertaining. 6/10 |
| Scooped Up By A Storage-Rank Adventurer Am I the only one that thought there was a link between Lloyd and Sybil? Like when he "lost his life" it actually meant he got reset back to a kid and that's why Merlin picked up Lloyd and raised him? I thought that was where the show was going but it turned out Lloyd really was just some random kid she picked up. In which case didn't she kidnap Lloyd? Sybil used ancient magic to resurrect everyone including the townfolk so Lloyd's parents should have been resurrected too. So she just straight up kidnapped a random kid she found. 5/10 |
| Well that was suitably crappy for this crappy show. They just can't quit with that storage gag. 3/10 Because you can't be that stupid and not get a terrible score. |
