Hes the one who drew usopp white in the manga and its confirmed by the volume covers and colored spreads drawn by Oda himself, also the live action is not the canon interpretation its it own separate thing do you think nojiko is black now? No because thats not how Oda depicted her and I think part of the reason why Oda chose a black person to do usopp irl was because Oda said if usopp was real he would be African its the same reason zoros actor is Japanese that doesnt make zoro canonically Japanese because they dont exist in one piece same as Usopp

I mean japanese people aren't the most progressive bunch💀 and the evidence speaks for itself, look at usopp and the common design for black people in manga, trying to say usopp is anything other than black is just ignorant. oda is just pulling a j.k Rowling.
