I want ask how many episodes does Clannad have cause I can find only 22 but the on MAL it says 23 there was an extra chapter so I was wondering if it is that one included or am I missing the last episode here

According to MAL, episode 23 is filler from looking on the episode tab of Clannad so you probably don’t need to watch it unless someone who had watched it corrects me.

there are more than a few "filler" episodes. 13,14,16,17,18. would recommend watching all 1-23. last episode is definitely not filler

There are 23 episodes for the first season.

Some streaming sites might have it listed as 24 because they include a filler episode/arc. At least that’s how HIDIVE has it.

*edit*
I could see why some might consider Episode 23 filler. It has a weird time jump and plays more in to the events of Season 2.

Still worth watching though. 🤷🏻‍♂️

season one has 23 episodes and 1 special episode. the special is non canon and is a single episode story about if tomoya dated tomoya. season 2 has 24 episodes with another non canon special episode where tomoya dates ryou and kyou. both can and should be watched before starting season 2 though. but neither are necessary

Both seasons have a few filler episodes, but in all honesty, they're worth watching. The only real exception to this is the final episode of After Story, which is just a recap.
