I enjoy it (kinda the same way I enjoy items on the mcdonalds value menu - nowhere near fine dining but occasionally I'll crave a mcdouble) , I think it would have been better to leave the MC as fat and ugly though - it would have been better to not transform his body into perfection.
I'm intrigued with where the story will go - will he bring people from the fantasy world to earth? Will him and Kaori explore the fantasy world together. I hope it doesn't fully devolve into harem trash though.

My wife dropped it at episode 3 because it was too generic, too stupid and too much a waste of her time to keep watching (especially when she'd already committed to other trash tier shows such as Isekai wa Smartphone)

I'll probably generously rate it a 5 (it's probably a 4.5 though)

They wasted a hell of potential in this concept because the author decided to put his harem dreams above the plot.

I've watched 12 episodes so far, and the last episode is named after the "main couple". there is definitively nothing more that could disappoint me. They didn't even considered inserting a plot hook. No. It's just the couple. 4/10. I am sorry for you guys.

This series is a pinnacle of all isekai. Gather all possible tropes, throw them into grinder, feed them to your dog and this is what you get when he will shit it out.
I don't mind generic isekai anime. I usually what 1 or 2 of them every season because they usually are enjoyable watch. They are cringe but somewhat funny, they have high production quality (most of the time) and often they have their own spin on isekai genre which makes them interesting to watch (or at least not being a total waste of time). Take Yuusha ga Shinda! or Dead Mount Death Play from this season as an example. Nothing great, but passable with some high points. Both have something special, some quirk that's new, be it perverted dude with thighs fetish possessing the body of legendary hero or god of death actually being a good guy and living in our world. They are both enjoyable shows.

Then you have Iseleve - chaotic, rushed, incoherent, shoving every isekai trope known to man since Accel World into one with terrible production quality on top of it. It's like they were trying to bake a pound cake but added too much butter and didn't let it cook long enough so it came out raw and flopped. It's too much and too fast - MC's struggles and school life, isekai life, royal family troubles, vile and divine... it just keeps coming without rest.

Also, I kinda like the manga of it. Somewhat it felt like it showed MC's struggle better which is unusual since anime is the superior medium when it comes to showing character's emotions. Pacing is a lot better, too.

I love Mushoku Tensei and Slime Datta Ken by my heart. They took a concept and made it well done. It's not about having a Harem. Rudeus has a harem. It is about the growth and development of character. There is little but zero, and I've watched it entirely (the supposed official prot girlfriend said that he didn't change). The characters feel empty and unnatural. They are something that chatgpt would develop. They are made entirely for the purpose of fanservice. I am not the biggest fan of these, but I am also a one piece fan. At the end of the day, I have been watching this since the start, so there is no prejudice. I just feel that they got an interesting concept and made it empty with a harem created by him just being the most perfect and flawless character who have little but no trouble.

The final fight with the archer girl could be amazing since he didn't have enough power and trying, but he went to face her anyways and train even more. But not only the rabbit god of kicking appeared, but the goddamn pig is a... idk, little God? No efforts at the end of the day since he had the help of the cavalry.

He is like a Superman with no kryptonite. He ain't Rudeus, who had to face obstacles that couldn't even be imagined by some. He ain't Rimuru who is in constant development, even tho he is above any average. Yumma isn't the hero of the story. He is the god.

He got some stupid op weapons in the begging, killed legendary creature, like he was farming cows with a military tank and cam create a SSSSSSSSS rank potion of heal. And he is beautiful to a point that everybody is like they have just seen a miracle of a person.

And everyone around him seems to be stupid or blind because who tf this no one thought to be weird a guy who could defeat a bear with its own hands and rescue 3 girls from the 13th floor, carrying them in a fire and getting out harmeless.

I understand what you’re saying but one key component your missing is the two peak anime you just mention have 24 ep each seasons so it has more time to show growth in characters and give them worthy obstacles also being bias is going into something with preconceived notation that this anime is going to be trash bec of ABC

mushoku tensei got me in the first season, just as Slime.
oshi no ko got the same, and even with the 1h first episode, there is only an additional episode in a matter of time.
dead Mountain Death Play got the same hype
you can make something interesting and pleading to watch.
this anime was fulfilled with fanservice and moments to say who perfect the mc is.
the first season of mushoku tensei threw everything he had of confort away and demanded development and growth. Rudeus had to change. To adapt himself. This anime is just "oh no, this is something hard tô deal. oh wait, it looks like the mc has the perfect way to solve it, dealing with this like it was nothing. " He has a super mega op heal option growing in his yard, lol. That's just insane.
