it’s “die hard” and what I said was completely true, Naruto wasn’t planned ahead, they just wrote things as they went, which obviously would cause tons of inconsistencies. So if pointing out problems with the show makes me a hater, then you must think it’s perfect..

Yes, it has a lot of inconsistencies, but this problem is not one of them.

How is it not? Itachi could’ve easily put jiraiya in a genjutsu and beat him. He could even at that point take on the entire village with Kisame, and possibly win.

Did you even finish naruto? If you don't, you could at least read people's explanation in this thread, before making a dumb statement. You just made yourself laughable at this point.

Itachi is easily on pain’s level, especially when with kisame. There was nobody in the village at the time apart from maybe tsunade (can’t remember if she was there or not) or donzo, who could even fight along side jiraiya. Most people in the thread are just making up justifications for why he did it. But it was simply because they didn’t know how strong they wanted jiraiya to be in comparison to Itachi yet. It’s laughable that you think Itachi couldn’t have easily snatched Naruto (pretty sure that’s what he was doing, but it doesn’t really matter) if he wanted to, when pain (who is relative to Itachi) destroyed a more powerful version of the leaf village on his own. And yes, I’ve finished Naruto. You just want to be able to justify all the show’s mistakes.

bro he had no contact with leaf after he was branded a traitor, he’s hardly a “spy”. Him being a “spy” was against the uchiha, he was still willing to torture Kakashi just because, kill tons of people for the akatsuki, and try to kill Naruto. So It’s clear that you couldn’t realise that he’s not one anymore..

Itachi was never a good guy to begin with. You could also said he is the worst spy all you want, but that's the reason why he doesn't destroy Konoha. He is Konoha's spy.

he didn’t need to destroy the leaf, he just needed to beat jiraiya, which he could’ve easily done, especially when he was in a cramped space and needed to protect Naruto, he and Kisame could’ve beat jiraiya and anybody who would’ve gotten there fast enough to help, before they were at all overwhelmed.

Dude, he doesn't need to because he is a spy

itachi is still loyal to the hidden leaf he didn't want to kill him..... and if u don't believe me why did get confused when itachi saied that we cant take him on

I'd just like to see more. New order may have a very small chance. The quirks so far don't cut it. I think there might be some out there that possibly might though.

Power levels are BS. Even the author of Dragonball regretted adding the Powerlevel system to their series and made fun of it later on.

Just because person A can beat person B and person B can defeat person C doesn't mean person A can beat person C. Instead it comes down to fighting style and strategy. In Naruto that whole this is even part of their power system. The elemental chart is a circle for a reason and not a ranked list and in the explanation of the chart characters also say that this whole A beats B business is just a rule of thumb and in actual combat it can be different.

(and yes I know that in the last quarter or third of the series fights kinda devolve into just being flashy set pieces for people to talk friendship over but my point still stands)

I know I'm late.. another one piece fan and that username💀 with some BS to hate
OK lemme get to the point
First Itachi is a spy and he came to konoha just to warn Danzo that he is alive and to check sasuke
Second he fighted kakashi and others just a few minutes and literally becoming blind so he didn't want to fight
You can easily notice if you watch with eyes opened

He went there because he was told to kill naruto. He didn’t even look for Sasuke, he just found him. He was also willing to use way more power against Kakashi than he needed, so if he was so close to losing his sight, he would’ve held back a lot more. He would also be able to beat jiraiya with as much power as he used on Kakashi, so he shouldn’t really need to worry about going blind.
