| One of thing I enjoyed the most is impaling enemies with spears. It's one of the Pod programs, you can basically summon bunch spears like Gilgamesh or Vlad from the ground and just skewered everything. Shit is satisfying to watch. Also A2 need more love. By love I mean fap material. |

| When you start the game, you will need to do the demo mission again and you can't save until you are done. So don't fuck up because I did. I was playing around and run out healing items in no time. Feel like the demo was toned down in term of difficulty. |

| Great news about the PC port: - It supports arbitrary resolutions up to 4K. - The vast majority of cutscenes run in real time. Now I just hope they aren't using Denuvo. | Nier release lets gooooooo. Hope my PC can run it at 60 fps. Graphics card is fine, but I still have a crappy AMD FX-6300 that I haven't replaced. |

Although the PC version has a few performance issues, this shit is why I'd always recommend it over the console version.   Someone forced true AO and it made the game look absolutely amazing, and that's not even with any injected postprocessing shaders. Here's the original for comparison: Also, a correction on my part: the cut scenes are pre-rendered, sadly. Hopefully they patch a better version of them later. |

| There's so many sidequests in this game. A lot of them are good, but boy can it kill main plot pacing if you're a completionist. ...especially if you try doing most of them before you reach the point where you can fast travel. The only saving grace is that Okabe's soundtrack is pleasant to listen to while traversing between zones. |

| Who would've thought that a sequel to Nier releasing alongside freaking Mass Effect would end up being the much better choice. I mean, i did, but that's solely due to personal preference as Nier just checks so many boxes for me in almost all aspects, but never did i imagine that ME would be the objectively worse written and programmed game. The PS4 version would forever look and perform at a subpar level. The only merit for the PS4 version IMO is that it has a physical copy. |
