And finally Mirror who told me about you Precursors." He took a moment to clear his throat. "The second time I came here was because I felt I needed a short break from the world. I challenge War that time, and for the first time felt death. When I left afterwards, not only had I come back stronger, but it also finally sank in just how long I've been spending in this place and that things like the City of Eru are short-lived and will cease to exist sooner or later. Paradoxically, the Nexus became the place I felt comfortable at." Once he was done, he regained his smile, though this time it was much more solemn. |

Humans are now faced with a choice: Evolve as a species or disappear in the veil of bliss and ignorance. If you feel you can help them towards the decision, if even slightly, then most certainly, visit the Earth, but if not, you'll just go to see beings slowly sliding towards their doom. With a sanctuary, I could probably save those who refuse to give up on a grand dream." Alex was looking at the far-away walls the whole time, absorbed in their beauty. It can bend the laws of your world in its own confined space. It can revive you from your death much like the Void does... THough, there are exceptions. If your soul is snared upon death, you cannot revive through Sanctuary until it is un-snared. A Dread Lord... If they kill you with their weapon... Hestraamas... You will never return, to life, nor to the void. You will have no afterlife. Please dont let them kill you. If they threaten to end you by their weapons, you must end your own life. After all, you cant come back here if they destroy your soul. She would say that and get up and hug him tightly. She had made a new friend, and he could feel her power passing into him. She would say this, if he had anything left to say, then she would listen and reply, but if he he didnt, she would see him off and then return to how she normally was, thinking on the things she was told. |

Thousands of my comrades haven fallen in battle to their power. Before, I could do something. But now, I just feel powerless. Of course, that's what led me here. | Fear is good, so long as it doesnt overwhelm you. It provides you with a sense of urgency and communicates to you that the situation is dire. But, fearis bad in large amounts. It can make you do horrible things, and make you like them. If fear overwhelms you, you become fear itself so you can cope. And thats when you start lose your difference to the spawn. You want my power to fight against them. But why are you fighting them? If you fight for vengeance, they only benefit. You quest would eat you inside until finally... Is it out of your fear of death? Once again, they use your own fear as a weapon. When your enemy is this vast darkness, you must understand clearly, and know it in your heart why you fight. Otherwise, you already are in their grip. He had instantly come up with an answer for Benevolence's question, though he felt it was hardly an answer she wanted to hear. However, he had already decided that he would be honest with Benevolence, and now he decided that he would be honest with himself. If I gained infinite power, there's no doubt I would use it to eradicate the darkness. Wipe them out of existence entirely. And I would be satisfied having gotten my revenge... But I'm not sure if that's what I really want. Maybe, all I really want is to put and end to all the death and destruction. Maybe I could be satisfied with just that. Maybe... |

| Benevolence's expression wouldn't change after listing to that answer she would gently place her hand on your shoulder and look at you. Relax, I'm not frustrated with your answer. It is to be expected that's how you feel. as she said these words you felt a calming influence flow through your body, helping you relax clearing your mind. So you have your plan for the power you gain, however, you're not sure it is what you want. Seems like you just need time to think, luckily here you have all the time to contemplate such things. Relax, you will find out sooner or later, let me just give you something that will let you make a few mistakes along the way. She would slowly get up place her hands one again on your shoulders and you coudl feel an energy filling you, enforcing your existence. There, I've given you the gift of another life. Truly, Benevolence words had stripped her from the things that she so optimistically tried to hold. In truth, it was only desperation and frustration and anger towards the darkness, that had taken already everything from her. "Don't worry... That world won't last long. The pillars have already started falling, and the Red Tower is assaulting the world, no might could topple it. You'll have every last drop on energy and resources to defend it. In a war of attrition, the darkness will turn a little weaker. So I believe you'll have a little bit more..." To be honest, the girl was tired of the constant struggle, she was a kindred heart for which it was injustice to have been born at this time. "If it's possible, if it is in your power... If I fall, could you see that I don't become a Scourge?.. But if it's not possible... I guess there is no helping to it." She'd have a smile on her face, but the willpower to keep the tears away was gone. If not stopped, she'd leave the area. |

Her lips whispered - 'Why was I even born' Cyrael's hand would extend into black glass, and was it even a surprise. Why would you live an empty life void of hope. She'd puncture the blade on her neck without an intervention and choke on her own blood. Hoping that she'd never ever reborn in the flames. At least the despaired girl was taking the pleasure away from the hunterkillers of darkness. |
| Benevolence benevolence wouldn't look any less saddened as she got up and walked beside an exit to her domain. you misunderstand my words i am telling you not to do anything i am simply trying to help you giving you the options that i know of that exist. for now this is the only thing i can offer. benevolence wouldn't be trying to use her calming influence on cyreal as at this point she things it would be rude to force her to calm down if she wishes to be this agitated. truly at some times speaking to mortals was very difficult to her when she was forced to deliver bad news and denying them this was something benevolence was never good at. there are many ways compassion can be shown unfortunately this is one of the regrettable sitations. |

She pressed her fingers so tightly against her chest, it was like she was suffering from a heart-attack. The red-ireful glow from the mark of death was only to add up the despair of the girl. | Benevolence crouched down and placed her hands on the wound. A warm feeling and it was healed. She would pass her aura into Cyrael, preferably calming her. Her aura was one of peace and kindness. And it was powerful. An overwhelming sense of peace. She would pull Cyrael into a tight hug to calm her down. Her aura of peace dense and potent. It would not take long until Cyrael was at ease, especially with her emotional vulnerability. If I were to give you a Sanctuary now, your Sanctuary would be marked for Death as well. And would be attacked by the Jury's children. You know them. The Hunters that pursue the mark. It would fall, and would have been a vast waste of energy. Once you can get rid of that mark, the Sanctuary would be free of that threat, and I would be willing to help you. Do you see? Death. Hestraan' Tor. Our Queen. Maybe even the purifier if you can convince him. These are the entities that can remove them. There are more, but just as examples. If I could be of more help, I promise you I would be. She would say this and await a response. |

| Cyrael Cinderheart Cyrael would feel serene, the lack of pain was almost alien to her. She'd feel guilty, if even that wasn't removed by Benevolence. "I am terribly Sorry.. I'll see what I can do with the mark. I shall meet up whoever can help with it." Cyrael would get up after a while, and walk towards the exit, thanks to the aura she had a very innocent smile to her lips, absent of the burdening emotions. She'd leave the area. |

He saw a startlingly pale looking woman with bright cyan markings all over her body. Without much else to do, Shay approached. Hey. Guess you're another one of the precursors. I'll assume the white skin and glowing lines are normal for now. I'm Shay. No last name. Although that wasn't necessarily true. He probably did have a last name, he just couldn't remember it. | Benevolence would turn to see a very black, yet non-malign aura. She reflexively grimaced, though raised her hands in apology. Your... corruption caught me off guard. It may not look so bad to your eyes, but to us, who see you not in body, but your very soul, its quite... unsettling to see. Please forgive me. My name is Benevolence. Sadly, he had gotten used to this treatment. Rather than feeling any sort of anger, instead he was more melancholic than anything else. Whatever. I'm used to this kind of treatment. I know full well that my soul is far from pretty. Though, I doubt there's anything I can do about it at this point. My soul's been thoroughly corrupted all the way through. I can feel it. At this point, trying to get rid of the corruption would probably kill me. What do you think, Benevolence? You precursors have got to be pretty knowledgeable about this stuff, right? Shay stood there in anticipation of Benevolence's reply. He hadn't thought to ask Mirror, likely because they had gotten off on the wrong foot, but now he was anxiously waiting for an answer.
