| That Wagaya no Oinari-sama show might actually be good... in the Dengeki Novel Prize the light novel for it won the gold prize in 2003. Awards go Major Prize, Gold Prize, Silver Prize and than Honorable mention. The only other 2 award winning novels I've seen on that award list were Baccano! (2002 co winner of gold prize) and Spice and Wolf (2005 Silver Prize) and I really enjoyed those two series. Thanks to that info my expectations for this show went up a bit though even if the source material is great the anime can still easily suck. |
| Finally got around to finishing it. Last couple of episodes were entertaining enough to bump this to an "8". |
