| yuck, I hate school college included, I haven't gone to much but I can't stand traditional education systems, "here is the way we want you to learn, you better be able to learn that way or you FAIL AT LIFE" well thanks for your support education system I don't look forward to working with you again in the future. >.<)-p, many can adapted and form around the way the system works but shouldn't be the other way around? it pisses me off that things that I am bad at can keep me out of reach of the things that I am good at. I don't want to be a well rounded individual, (as far as education) I want to focus on where I want to be in life, being well rounded shouldn't be forced on me. and thanks for judging my worth on who well I did in high school, the piss stain that it is, I was defiantly mature enough back then to know what I was doing to myself by not been the best at all times. education is one of the few times where a society can be selfish to an individual, buy putting set amounts of worth on people based on there education level. it's total crap, I'm worth much more than the sum of the diplomas I hold, not just to myself and the people I know but I could be a worth asset to the selfish society of the country if I could be judged on more accurate merits =_= sorry, I tend to rant about that subject, I don't even think the rant made sense. oh well I don't even want to go back and fix it, I'll just get worked up again. =_= later; Kaigen |

All attempts to adapt learning to different methods have resulted inlittle more than a dumbing down of the educational system so that having an advanced degree is now a necessary but not sufficient condition of success. Hell, my colleagues all have Master's or Bachelor's degrees. |
| I have looked into alternative means to my end, but all of them are pretty dead end. the only real way to get what you want is to conform. rather than complain(as you were saying) I just need to accept that it is what it is and it's not going to change. I will just have to swallow all the crap that comes with not wanting to bend, when something important depends on it. to, in the end I get what I deserve, I am doing this to myself and it's not anyone else's fault. (It sure eases the mind to blame society though) I can't help but hate on the subject when it comes up though. I not really paying much attention to what I am posting so forgive the errors, or not making sense. |

Plus I'm very stuck up with regards to my grades, so it was stressful to me. | I'm 28, I've been watching anime since 1996, but I don't remember exactly when I really became interested in yuri... at least since before 2006. My memory for when I watched what sucks, since I watch so many shows that if I don't write it down, then I won't remember when it was I last watched something last. A good example is Najica Blitz Tactics, I just rewatched that 2 weeks ago, but I don't know when the first time I watched it was because my records only go back as far as March of 2006 (I think it might have been sometime after the summer of 2004). I really wish I would've kept better records. Oh well *sigh* |

| I'm 21. I've been interested in Anime/Manga for about 7 years and yuri/shoujo-ai for about 3 years. It was only in college that I started befriending other anime fans, most who turned out to be obsessive yaoi fans. It's cool that they don't mind watching Yuri though. |

| I'm 25 and I would say I was 19 or 20 when I first started watching anime. However, I didn't start watching/reading yuri until a couple of weeks ago. I was taken in by a review of Aoi Hana on afterellen.com and immediately fell in love. Now I'm trying to catch up on all the best yuri. |
