The day/night phase will run under CST (Central Standard) time, and will run for 24 hours each. Day/Night phases begin at 10 p.m Central time. I run under Central Standard Time myself. Please visit this time converter if you are unsure how your time aligns with this schedule.
[u]General Rules[/u]
You are not allowed to use any external communications (PM/IRC/Instant Messengers/etc.) to discuss the game. Everything must be said in this thread. There is no hidden/private groups for this game.
Once you are dead, you are allowed to keep posting casually. However you may NOT state anything that includes strategy or anything that generally affects gameplay. Limit all casual chat. That's what the general chat thread is for. Failure to follow this rule will result in 1 warning and potential removal from the club. Jury members are strong encouraged to follow gameplay or read phase updates to help them cast their votes at the end of the game.
You can PM the GameMaster or Game Assistant of your concerns regarding the rules; if there are some changes you want or some clarifications you want to ask, have it in PM. You are more than welcome to ask questions in the thread before the game officially starts. Afterwards, please PM it. Under beneficial circumstances, I'll notify the gamers of the question and answer. However, it's best to not ask role specific questions in the thread, since it could give your role away.
Violations of the Site & Forum Guidelines will be dealt accordingly by one of our awesome attending moderators. Although the GM is not a MAL mod, (s)he does reserve the right to police the game justly in accordance to MS standards.
[b]Game Overview[/b]
Some roles can be allotted to more than one player.
In order for anyone to win, they must become God.
All players have alternate/bonus clauses. These terms won't cost you the entire game if they are not met. They're meant mainly for those who seek a higher difficulty.
There are two phases; day phase and night phase, which both ends after a maximum 24-hour period.
The day phase will end once a list has been closed with a quota (50%+1) either at or after the 12 hour mark. With this in mind, the day phase CAN end before the 24 hour mark, but only if designated by the GM or GA.
The night phase will end once everyone has completed their actions or if 24 hours have passed.
[b]Lynching[/b]
Only available during the day, all the players can vote who they want to lynch. The lynch will commence (or the list will be closed) once 50% or more of the current alive players vote a lynch for that person.
Any player can change and/or remove their vote regardless of their role if the list isn’t close yet.
The players must lynch someone starting on Day 3. Failure to comply means the game master will randomly choose who will die.
If for some reason I am not online during the phase change, voting will stop voting for the day phase. Keep in mind that there's no TRUE mafia in this game. This is a free-for-all format (meaning every man for himself).
We will go by a quota for lynching, meaning 50%+1 must vote for a lynch to occur. Example: 20 players means 10+1 (11) must vote against a person.
There WILL be consequences for consistent inactivity. Since there's no private groups. It is imperative that everyone is active or else it'll hinder gameplay. Instead of killing off inactive players, those who do not participate will have their roles revoked. This way, those who are interested can still join. I'll put these open roles in the sign-up and will create a waiting list once the first list is full.

Notes & Edits:
01. Mirai Nikki: Every man for himself. It'd be up to you to make alliances and make it to the end. Towards a point in the game, a jury will be formed and will vote for the MVP at the end of the game (when only 2 players are left). 12 players.
02. The teaser video I made is currently converting, but yeah. I just wanted to do something special for you guise. If anyone knows a way to use BBCode for vimeo please let me know.
03. Game play starts Thursday = Tonight at 10 p.m. CST.
I'm going through the roles now. Each player will have 1-2 points of hidden info. Just FYI.
04. Alsoooo. Everyone will have unique win conditions. I won't lie. Some are a bit harder than others, and there is the possibility of only partial victory. I have faith that y'all will make this awesome though. I've made roles and win conditions for 6 out of 14 players.
05. Another tip/teaser: as mentioned, The final winner will be selected by the jury. Now, what's the jury? It's the final 7 eliminated in the game. Basically, those who place 14 - 9 will not serve on the jury. Jury members are free/expected to monitor the game or at least the updates and will play a part in voting for the winner a.k.a God. This is the "Big Brother" twist that I mentioned when structuring this game. I'll continue to give updates as we countdown to the start of the game. (There will be other twists and turns, but nothing game changing.~)
06. Basically, everyone has their base win condition correct? Become God. Everyone also received a unique bonus win condition. Let me be clear when I say you don't LOSE if you fail to meet the bonus condition. This is like beating a video game level and finding the hidden star or whatever. If you feel that the bonus condition will hurt your gameplay in anyway, don't do it. Hell, you don't have to do it to begin with. However, it's encouraged to at least try..or rather I thought it'd be fun, but perhaps I was wrong. Maybe after y'all get the abilities you'll feel more like doing it.
07. Additionally, as the post states, the jury will vote based on gameplay and strategy on who God should be. I'd hope that the players will score accordingly and not based on popularity or something else weak like that, but to buffer that, things like role abilities and the bonus win condition can/will/should be considered as well. For example, if it's the final 2 and one of them has a kill ability they can use, I'd like to think the jury would consider that a checkmate. As in my last game, I will do my own MVP as well.
Please use this prologue to make preliminary moves, but keep in mind that no one knows of their abilities, just their win conditions and their roles. I also ask and advise that you ask any and all questions during this phase. It will last 24 hours just as the other phases but no one will have actions to submit.
Pretty good! I'm super happy right now! I just went to a school for an interview so I could go there and I got accepted! :D (they made me a special exception since i'm out of the zone) AND I got to go home after that so school holidays now! :D But I got to go on a 4 hour drive to my granparents house caus ei'm staying there for a week. (knowing my mum she will most likely make me drive :( )
How bout you? (Let's have a causal discusiion since it's the 2 of us XD)
And what's with the nyan cat?
Congratulations! That's great news! ^_^
I'm just sitting @ home, trying to choose a movie to watch.
We're starting a nyan revolution, will you join us? ~nyan

Great to see both of you, @Grave, @Shadow. Just a chat day I guess?
I guess it is, we still have to wait for the details that will be posted before we can even figure out what's going on. I'm personally lost. ~nyan
In game related news...
You all have your win conditions and roles. Feel free to chat, build alliances, ask questions...just remember that claiming/confirming a role COULD hurt as much as it COULD help. Take that as you may. I included this "false start" if you will for various reasons. How you use this time is totally up to you.
I just think this style of game is going to take some getting used since it is so differnt from others so far and nothing on these 1 days ever happen even though we really should be using it but I think people are not sure how to do this that is my reason for not doing much today anyway.
I am normally a solo player myself and based off the show alliances are not great but we will need them at some point once we have more info on our own roles and other people if they give it alliances will come at some point will be intresting to see how it goes.

I still don't know if alliances will be officially stated(everyone knows) or private(only we and host knows). If we were to make an alliance it would probably be convenient with a secret club etc. So I wonder what rules is there for that.
I would assume some people may have to be in alliance to meet thier goals like whoever yukki and yuno are would have to team so may get a club as a example other alliances are ones we make randomly througout which could break at any time so may not get thier own club down to host I guess that is how I assume it will work anyway.

It's good to have alliance to make ourselves strong but also we'll be probably targets since people will see us as threat.
So I've changed my mind and first see what our roles are. Then decide afterwards.
I don't know how the game works, so I'm hesitant to participate in any kind of discussions here.

Yes, I need to know this! But apparently there isn't, so forming alliance in the beginning of the game is not a good idea.~ Nyan
back to topic of alliances they will only take someone so far since only one of us can be the winner/god so they will break at some point so maybe not best to put too much faith in them but they will be a big help early game.

Y. Alliances will help tyou survive during early game but at somepoint backstabbing will start.
It's a gamble since an alliance will want to reach end game(so they might not turn on you til then), you learn each other's role(beneficial in end game)

For 24 hours, they had been wandering aimlessly in an empty void. They might have bumped into another, they might have even talked to one another, but overall, they chose not to fully trust and befriend one another. Was if for the best? A mysterious being wrapped in black summoned them...
"My time as God is coming to an end. It was a great run, but this world has come to ...bore me."
The figure spun around slowly from the chair where it was sitting. Its hood was pulled low towards the bottom of a white masked face.
"So, how about we have a bit of fun, shall we? You're all contenders, and the only way to leave this game alive is to win. Who shall become my successor?"
It was unseen, but there was a wicked grin beyond that mask.
Instantly, the lot of them were transported to a large, enclosed house. If they were to try to leave the house, they would reappear right where they once were, in the house. There was no escape unless through winning, or through dying.
Pointless diagram of said house.
It is now Day 01 and the players may decide to lynch or not lynch during this phase.
Day 01 will end on Sept. 20 at 10 p.m. CST regardless of if the host is online or not. All voting shall cease (a.k.a. lynch is locked) but players are able and are even encouraged to continue gameplay discussion.
God I hope this game lasts more than like 3 phases ;o;
