Rika nodded in response, she picked up a note-pad and started writte down. "So, can you explain to me if you feel any alterations on physical capabilities and also about how you feel inside the armor? The tests were done before but we have to make sure everything will work just fine before you use it." Rika told her, noting down everything on the small note-pad. "The armor seems to have fit perfectly, no mistakes in my design... as expected." Rika boasted off her own work. She would usually do this, even when it came to Emily. She usually felt very proud to have created her. As soon as Gergen reached the elevator, mines tripped from it and held him in the place, making the sword on his hand fall down and immediatly immobilizing him. The net that grabbed him quickly started to shock his body weakly afterwards, in order to make him lose conciousness. The shock would continue until his heartbeat dropped to a certain point, which indicated that he was unconscious. |

Don't you see Adam? The boy doesn't want to talk! He wants a fight! Let me have him! Your pacifist ways will only get you killed. Adam watched as Yoshio readied his blade, and hi's smile disappeared. He had truly hoped to avoid this, but there seemed to be no alternative. "It seems nothing I say will get you to leave on your own. In that case, I will make you leave...In a body bag." Adam drew his scimitars, tightly wrapping the Aegis chains around his forearms. He closed his eyes, and took a deep breathe, inhale, exhale... He opened his eyes and an evil grin crossed his face. Well then, shall we begin this little game? You'll have to forgive Adam. He does love to talk a lot. I, on the other hand, prefer a more direct approach! With incredible speed, Wasteland quickly began closing the gap between him and Yoshio. Their blades would meet in seconds.. |

"It takes less effort to perform an action yet it yields equal results when compared to being outside the suit. By that logic, I believe my physical capabilities have increased, mistress," Emily replied, carefully moving around. "Performing extremely precise tasks may be hindered for the time being due to this, however, I do not believe it will take long for me to compensate for this." "Being in this armor feels... natural," Emily said. "It is as if I belong in here." "Of course, mistress," Emily responded as per usual to Rika's boasting. She then picked up her rifle and looked down the sights, her suit's HUD immediately displaying flight vectors for the weapon as she did. She lowered it and then snapped it back into firing position several times while standing and then proceeded to do the same by rolling in and out of other firing positions before saying "Combat movement appears optimal, mistress." |

"You took the words right out of my mouth." Yoshio responded with a slight smirk, preparing to charge before pausing in confusion for a moment when another "person" spoke. "Who... Or actually. What the hell are you?" He questioned, but quickly shook his head realizing he wouldn't be answered. "Well then, we should get along great. Direct is more my style too!" He retorted, charging at Wasteland. He was fast, which caused some of Yoshio's confidence to disappear, but it didn't show when he swung the cleaver down at his head without hesitation. |

Rika's writting was absurdly fast, even for a norma human. Her thought processess were advanced but her speed and reaction time what was made her a special human being. Rika calmly looked around and felt something... strange. For some reason, she felt uneasy. She would usually have this feeling whenever things went too quietly. Accostumated to the chaos, to the loudness and to the problems of her life as director, Rika couldn't really live in peace anymore. She suddenly shook her head and turned towards Emily with a strangely wide smile. "Why don't we go to the testing range so that you can practice?" Rika offered as she packed her equipment and took a quick glance at the computer. The words "Analysis Finished" appeared, but, for this moment, she ignored it. She wanted to spend a little more of her time in this attentive peacefulness. |

Wasteland parried the cleaver, just centimeters from his eye. His eyes were crazed, and he slowly turned his head and stared at Yoshio. For a moment, it seemed like time had frozen. The two just stood there, Wasteland eyeing his opponent with an unnerving stare. After what seemed like hours of standing there, Wasteland jumped back. Then it happened. Wasteland began to giggle. Then he began to chuckle. Soon he was roaring with laughter. "Oh, this is just too good. Finally, someone who might give me some challenge!" Allowing his blades to slide out of his hands, Wasteland released the chains wrapped around his arms, until the chains were fully loose in his grip. His forearms began to make slow circular motions, increasing in speed. Soon, Wasteland was spinning both his swords in the air the way a cowboy would with a lasso. He lashed out from afar, sending one of his blades at Yoshio with deadly accuracy. |

For once, Emily didn't realize that there was something up with Rika as she was simply too preoccupied with the experience of her new suit of armor to take notice. When the offer to go to the testing range arose, Emily responded with a "Yes, mistress," and picked up her rifle and assault vest before following Rika. |

Yoshio's eyes widened slightly, though it was hidden by his hood. The mans movements weren't all that shocking, it was simply that Rin Chi did the same thing with this cleaver, well, back when it actually had a chain. It simply brought back memories. He shook his head to rid his mind of it and scowled. But another thing was strange. Why would someone with a personality like this serve the ASC? Why not go on their own and kill who they wish? "Hey, why are you even fighting for that bitch? You remind me a bit of someone I looked up to. She only really loved a good fight more than anything. Why waste time kissing someone's ass?" He questioned shortly before his eyes widened once more and he titled his head to the side only to barely evade the weapon, it still cutting the side of his hood and even giving a small cut on his cheek. Yoshio quickly snapped out of it and swung the blade down on the chain, hoping to sever it and cause Wasteland to lose one of his weapons. Masaru came upon a door guarded by two soldiers. He approached them nonchalantly until they ceased their talking and noticed him, raising their weapons to shoot too late as one already had his neck slit and the other's neck snapped. He swiped the katana to the side as he entered the room, the blood flying off and splattering on the ground. It was the cafeteria. It was near empty as most were off on guard, but there was one woman eating alone. He slowly approached her until he was only a few feet behind her. "Young lady, what is your rank?" He questioned calmly. She seemed too young to be of any valuable rank, but Akira used to be the CEO and she was only in her late teens when he met her, so it was possible that this woman would be useful. |

Rika took Emily to the testing range, that was deserted, since they were in the laboratory. Most scientists were working on the other side of the underground labs right now so most of this area was filled with either soldiers or guards that protected Rika's special lab. When they reached the area, Rika activated the shooting range and placed a few challenges for Emily, seeing how skillful she wasl. |

"My dear boy, there is so much you are unaware of. I didn't choose this life. Adam did. Think of it like this. As the Main Advisor to the Director, Adam is the Judge and Jury." He chuckled. I am simply the Executioner." As Yoshio's blade came down on the chains, the force of the impact pulled Wasteland forwards a bit. "Sorry kid, but Aegis chains don't break that easy." He smirked and pulled the scimitar in. As he did so, he stepped in and swung his other blade, just barely missing Yoshio's nose. "Is this all you've got, boy?!" Wasteland mocked. |

The first challenge was simply a "hit all the targets" challenge, they were all placed at various ranges and some were mostly hidden though none of them were moving. She hit all 12 targets in a little over 5 seconds. The second challenge was being able to hit all the discs that were thrown by a machine as they flew through the air and, as usual, Emily didn't miss a single one. The third and final test could have been compared to the game "whack a mole" as a machine would make "enemy" targets would pop up randomly and the shooter would have to hit them before they went back down in order to score points. The challenge would end when either the timer ran out or if the shooter hit a "civilian" target. Not surprisingly, Emily never hit a single "civilian" however, she was unable to maximize her points due to the fact that she had to quickly flick her aim away from a "civilian" target near the end which she would have hit if she did not do so otherwise and that cost her a couple "enemy" targets. "I apologize, mistress," Emily said, sounding almost sad. "I was unable to perform ideally during the last challenge." |

"You don't get it do you?" Yoshio questioned, getting annoyed with this. "I'm guessing Adam is the guy from before you came out here right? Seems to me like he's some spineless coward. Automatically relying on something else's power the moment he gets into a fight. I'm asking why you're okay with that. Why you wouldn't choose for yourself to be the judge, jury, and executioner. Or are you just so weak willed that you can only take control when he lets you?" He explained his question. Though it sounded different, Yoshio wasn't trying to provoke Wasteland as much as get answers. Though he was adding a bit of his own personal view as he interrogated him. Yoshio's eyes widened when he heard the weapons were Aegis. So they're like Dad's huh? He mentally questioned himself, barely evading the second blade. He growled in annoyance at the situation before pausing. He steadied his breathing and calmed himself as he acquired a more stable stance. He couldn't afford to get worked up now. He preferred to "let loose" and enjoy fights with strong opponents, and if this was just a casual meeting on the streets he would have, but there was much more on the line at the moment. At times like these he became more like his father, gaining an emotionless face and cold, narrowed eyes. It was as if he entered a trance almost. Yoshio readied his blade before speeding straight towards Wasteland with very little warning ahead of time. His speed didn't appear to increase from his previous charge nor did he seem to be doing anything different from when he had charged Wasteland before, but he was much more calm focused now. |

Rika calmly overlooked Emily's performance, noting down everything she saw and what she understood. Apparently, the armor was functional, but not on 100%. It would still take time for the scientists and Rika to understand how to make the armor become more linked with Emily and more perfected. Rika's notes showed her that if they kept going on the direction they were already going, everything would be done in a short period of time and Emily wouldn't have to worry so much about it. "Well, it seems like it's still not 100%. We're going to perfect it and make a few more adjustments before you can use it permanently, I don't want to risk wasting your performance and until we're done with this armor, you can still use your old one. Gergern woke up in the lab, fully locked and unable to move. The scientists were discussing what to do with him as they analysed his sword. "Wake up... Child." The voice echoed in Yuume's mind. When she opened her eyes, she saw someone different but... Very alike her. She was exactly like Yuume, but her eyes were completely different. They exhaled... Insanity. "Who... Are you?" Yuume questioned, but to no avail. Her voice seemed muffled, as if she was unable to speak. "Hush... Youngling. Allow me to help you in this time of necessity." The girl's last sentence echoed in Yuume's mind and, consequently, on Yoshio's. For an unknown reason, Yoshio himself started to hear the girl's strange voice. A voice much more mature than Yuume's. Yuume shook her head. She didn't wanted to allow her to take control. She had heard of this from her mother and she knew very well what the girl meant. After shooking her head, the girl's body started to fade and, in time, everything went white. That was when Yuume awoke in the glass coffin, completely calm. She looked around and saw nothing. "Kill them all." The voice said, echoing in both Yuume's and Yoshio's mind. It sound agressive, vengeful. In that exact moment, Yuume's scythe, that was being studied by the scientists on the lab, lost control and suddenly went flying towards the room she was, breaking the glass coffin when it reached her. The scythe stopped millimeters from Yuume's head, even cutting a bit of her hair. Yuume picked up the scythe and started to walk out of the room. Her head was aching, but all she needed to do right now was escape. Rika was paying attention to the note and, before she was able to notice, the scythe passed right behind her and went towards her room. "Damn it. Warn everyone!" She shouted to one of the guards, that warned all of the others about Yuume's escape. |

"Bah, I don't want to perform all the monotonous tasks and paperwork Adam has to perform. I prefer to leave that to him. I just do the killing. It is not him that is using me. It is I that am using him." The Comm unit in Wasteland's ear echoed. "Prisoner has escaped. Repeat. Prisoner has escaped." Wasteland growled and parried Yoshio's blade. "Regardless, we have talked far too much. I wanted to enjoy this, but I no longer have the time." Wasteland was annoyed. He was torn between his to duty to contain the prisoner, and his desire to slay the boy before him. Minutes went by and their blades crossed countless times, but neither could place a solid hit. Wasteland smirked. "You're scary good for your age, boy. I'll give you that much. But you lack one thing that keeps you from ever defeating me. And that, is experience." In one deft move, He detached one of the chains from his blades and swung them around onto Yoshio's blade, wrapping it tightly. He then jerked his arm forwards quickly, draggiing Yoshio forwards to his sword, preparing to deliver a killing blow. |

Yoshio would have responded and further explained his question again, as he still hadn't technically answered it. He wanted to know why he would let this Adam choose to serve under the ASC rather than permanently take control and do as he pleased, if it truly was Wasteland controlling Adam and not the other way around that is. However at the moment, Yoshio was still in his "trance" and wasn't paying attention to conversation much, he did hear a woman's voice, but made no notion that he did. Yoshio tried to resist Wasteland's strength as best he could, but was getting dragged anyway. He tried steadying his stance and pulling against his grip again, but it was obvious he was being overpowered again. Suddenly, he forcefully yanked against the chain to give himself some swinging room and just as before, Yoshio dashed forward. It seemed as if he planned to charge forward with the intent of severing Wasteland's arm wielding the blade before he was completely disarmed. If that was his intent and he missed however, he would be open as he would only have about one decent swing before Wasteland was able to yank the blade away. |

(LOL. I love that i'm just avoiding answering the actual question. xD ) Wasteland was taken by surprise. The last thing he had expected was that Yoshio would charge right in. Yoshio's blade came down on Wasteland's arm and cut deep. In seconds, blood began to seep out of his arm. Wasteland laughed. "Pain is good. Pain tells me i'm still alive.' In normal situations, Wasteland should have lost his arm, but his limbs had been broken so many times over the years that every time they had healed they came back a little stronger. Now, they were barely holding up as Yoshio's blade sunk deeper into Wasteland's arm, threatening to go all the way through. "You're one reckless son of a bitch, you know that?" Wasteland grimaced. A painful grin spread across his face as he grabbed Yoshio's blade, and pushed it in hard, trapping it deep in his arm. Using his good arm, he swung his sword down on Yoshio's left leg. Now Yoshio had a choice. Lose his sword and save his leg, or save his leg and lose the sword. |

Emily quickly swung her assault vest on to her body without properly securing it as it would not fit if she did and rushed to stand in between Yuume and Rika with her rifle trained on Yuume. "Orders, mistress?" she asked calmly, though probably a bit too calmly for this situation. |

Yoshio's expression was still blank, though the only part of his face visible was his mouth. He paused as Wasteland seemed to take the hit fully. This was a tactic he knew of, though hasn't used. Rin Chi used it quite often and his father stated that he had when it was necessary. If you can't land a good enough hit on your opponent, it might be better to allow them a hit in order to land a hit on them rather than just continue to trade blows. When he saw the blade coming down at him, he released his own and jumped back, putting a bit of distance between them. "Give up and get out of my way." He finally spoke again in a monotonous voice. "You only have one good arm now. Is dying for that woman worth it? You don't seem the type to give your life for someone else." |

Wasteland roared with laughter. "Do you think I care?! About life? Or death? They mean nothing to me! I might not give my life for others, but I don't lose fights, ever. And now, you are without a blade. Do you really believe you can defeat me with your bare hands? You would be a fool to attempt it. And yet, a part of me hopes you do try it. I would love to see the look on your face as I cut you down with your own blade!" Wasteland left the Yoshio's blade in his arm and advanced toward Yoshio, daring him to attack. |

"Don't lump me in with fools like the ones here who rely too much on technology and their weaponry. I use that blade to my advantage, but don't think I need it to kill." Yoshio warned him as he readied himself. Though Yoshio was indeed far better with the blade and was at a disadvantage since he was unarmed. He wasn't about to give in, however. These "two" people, Adam and Wasteland were an Adviser, working directly under Rika. If they were here, that means that they couldn't hinder Masaru and whoever else was in the building trying to save Yuume. |

Wasteland dashed forwards, slightly slowed by the blade in his arm. Stepping in low, he slashed upwards at Yoshio, jumping high into the air as he did. He then proceeded to twist his body and corkscrew downwards towards Yoshio. "Stop this blade with your hands, and I'll cut off your fingers!" He laughed maniacally as he spun down towards Yoshio, ready to hack him to pieces. |

Yoshio barely evaded the attack by jumping back and rolling away. He better at blocking attacks than he was at evading them. If he hadn't landed that strike on Wasteland's arm and slowing him down, he wouldn't have escaped that attack unscathed. Though he was becoming tired and slowing down himself. Damn it... Dad, Yuume, Gergern... Hurry the hell up. He thought to himself as he stood up and readied himself again before charging, but at a slightly slower speed. If he stayed on the defensive, he would eventually get hit. He'd need to suppress and keep Wasteland from attacking if he wanted to leave unscathed. Masaru left the labs that he used to know in a bloody mess. The lab itself was near devoid of anyone, only a few poor souls inhabited it. He looked down at what he had acquired from one of the now dead subordinates of Rika. He had taken the Identification card of the seemingly highest rank in the room. He only hoped that it held enough access to take him to wherever Rika had retreated to. Shortly after he left the room, he made his way to the last "elevator" he recalled noticing. It appeared to be the same in nature as the one Rika had used and hopefully it would lead him to the same place. Once he reached the elevator, he slid the I.D. of the victim into the slot next to the "exit", it seemingly analyzing the card before it slid it back out of the slot and the doors to it opened. Masaru stepped inside as the doors closed. He wasn't sure where it would take him or even if it would take him to where he needed to go. But he didn't have many alternatives. |

Wasteland dodged Yoshio and glared at him. "If you think you can hit me with speed like that you are a fool!"He roared, swinging his blade down on Yoshio's head. Around the corner, Squad's 7 and 8 had arrived. They had received Adam's recall orders earlier and had come during the delayed time frame he had given. They had cut off all the exits and were now closing in around the Tower... |

Though Yuume's head ached, her vision was blurry and her body was completely numb, she could still move slowly as she tried to get out of the room. Unfortunately for her, someone stood on the way. The girl was nearly the same size as she was but she wasn't a normal trooper. Yuume's eyes, with her pupils now having a tinge of purple, stared at Emily as Rika ordered her. Yuume hated Rika for everythng she had done to her family. Such hate could easily consume her and she knew that... Rika looked towards Emily and Yuume. "Don't terminate her. She is an important research. Try to take her down without hurting her... That should be easy enough since she's still disoriented." Rika ordered as she looked directly at Yuume for a few seconds. Purple eyes, anger... This is definetely isn't her yet. If it's not her, then we still have chances of rating her power. Rika thought to herself. As Masaru went down the elevator, it stopped in the high security prison that served the ASC. Right below this prison, there was the secret underground lab. However, Masaru was on the final area of the Prison. Prisoners apparently were locked inside big tubes of tranite glass and were rendered unable to move. Inside the tubes, multiple experiments were runned and, as soon as Masaru entered the area, he would notice that there was someone else there with him. A small girl passed right in front of him, heading downstairs. |

Yoshio stopped his advance and jumped back again, though he was slashed by the blade, even if only lightly. He growled in annoyance. He wasn't so much in a trance anymore. He stepped back a bit, widening the distance slightly. He crouched down, grabbing one of the deceased soldiers and charged forward again, holding the soldier forward as a shield. "And if you think that you can kill me just by swinging your blade around, your an even bigger fool!" He shouted at him as he charged. Yoshio hoped to retrieve his blade as without it, this battle was pretty much over. Even if he did retreat it, it was still pretty much over. Reinforcements were arriving, and he was tired and slightly injured. Masaru entered the large room. It was obviously a floor built solely for containment of any unlucky soul to be found "interesting" or a threat to the ASC. He examined the people in the glass but kept walking before he heard light footsteps and faded into the shadows. He watched the young girl walk right past him and to the lower levels. He decided to shadow the girl as he doubted that she would be allowed here if she didn't know her way around. One thing for sure was he was definitely getting close to Yuume. If Rika didn't lock her up, then she was probably currently "analyzing" her. |

As Masaru went deeper into the maze, his vision would start to get blurry and his senses decipated slightly. Shadowing this "girl" wasn't a very good ideia for him, since, when he was finally able to see, she was actually his own imagination. Looking towards him, the red-eyed shadow spoke in a soft tone. "How far will you go? Akira's already dead, is there other reason for you to live?" Blood Dreamer questioned, her red hair, that was very similar to Akira's, fluttered around as she turned towards him. Blood Dreamer was much more different than when they were young. In fact, her hair was what mainly changed her appearence. Now let down, she had to cut it so that it wouldn't touch the ground and would, instead, stop at her feet. |

Masaru paused when she turned around. "You and have have never seen eye to eye on that many things." He stated. "I know for what reason I do this, however, I do not think you will see it as a good reason. Though, to put it in the absolute simplest way, they are my children. I care for them and wish to protect them. I need no other reason to do so." He explained calmly and paused shortly before speaking again. "If you wish to speak with me, I will answer all the questions that you wish. However, I would prefer to converse after I have secured my daughter's safety." |

Blood Dreamer looked down. She was thinking about why would he do such a thing. "If you had done this earlier... Maybe Akira would still be alive. Why did you hold back!? She's gone now... And I wasn't able to do anything..." She stated. As she grew, she became more and more attached to both Akira and Masaru. Even so, she desired to attack the ASC and destroy them once and for all, but Akira held back. To boost Akira's morale, even Masaru held back as well. Because of that, she became more and more impatient, leading her to separating herself from Akira and imprinting herself on everyone of the family. As she looked down, tears fell on the ground. Blood Dreamer pointed to behind her, towards the underground lab. "The girl will transform if you keep waiting. You have nearly 10 minutes... I'll do the least I can do for your son..." Blood Dreamer stated, walking foward and passing beside Masaru... |

Wasteland jumped back, lowering his blade. He growled, irritated as hundreds of reinforcements came pouring in and surrounded Yoshio. "It's over, kid. I was hoping to finish you off on my own, but Adam's reinforcements came in. So far we've stood toe to toe in the level of skill, and it's been years since anyone has been able to stand on my level. So I'll do you a little favor and I'll give you this." Wasteland groaned as he drew Yoshio's blade out of his limp arm.Using all of his strength, he slammed it down into the ground, embedding it deep into the earth. He began to walk away. "If you've got the strength, take your sword. Fight your way out. And you better survive. I want the satisfaction of your head on my wall." Wasteland turned to the Commanding Officer. "Kill him." The ASC soldiers opened fire. |

As soon as the bullets were released from the chambers of the hundred guns, a large fire engulfed Yoshio, inside the fire, both Yoshio and Blood Dreamer were present. It took a few seconds for the fire to dissipate, revealing both Yoshio and a Girl. As she turned towards the soldiers, a smirk grew on her face. "Die." She muttered. Nearly instantly, all soldiers started to die in a quick sequence, most of them were degolated, mutilated and quartered. The others started to run, afraid from the consquences. Blood Dreamer then turned herself towards Wasteland and aimed her sword at him. "You! When I finish with you, no one will recognize you..." She said with a smirk |

Masaru remained silent as she spoke. "If it were that simple, the world would not be how it is currently." He stated calmly after she finished and began to walk past him. "Thank you, Blood Dreamer." Masaru spoke finally with a sincere voice as he began to walk again into the labs. If he truly believed that attacking the ASC would've resulted in their victory, or at least what he considered a victory, he would have. However as he said, it was not that simple. His walk turned into a speedy run, needing to reach Yuume as quickly as possible. Yoshio paused as Wasteland began to leave. He gritted his teeth in anger, but approached his blade and with much struggle, yanked it from the ground. With a tired shout he charged at the soldiers before he was stopped the moment bullets started to fly. He stared at the girl in front of him, still slightly tense. "How... Who are you!?" He questioned her. |

Wasteland looked back over his shoulder. His face showed neither anger nor surprise, but instead had a look of amusement. He smirked and turned around, drawing his blades. He wrapped one of the sets of chains around his arm to help stabilize it, and painfully lifted it up. His arm had gone completely numb, but he didn't care. "You disappoint me boy. I gave you the chance to save yourself, but instead you had to be saved. You have such potential, and yet you waste it. I was so sure it would be you, and yet I was wrong. You are not worthy to become the next true Wasteland." He turned to face Blood Dreamer, an evil smile spreading across his face."No one will recognize me eh? I like it already. Well In that case, bring it on!" |

Blood Dreamer's smirk grew impatient. As soon as he began speaking her, look showed an anger. She despised these members of the ASC and this was clearly shown in her eyes and in her expression. As soon as he challenged her, her smirk grew colder and amused. "Try acting more and talking less, fool." She stated, raising her hand slightly. That was enough for Wasteland to lift in the air. She then pushed her hand foward, causing Wasteland to fly away. However, at the speed he was, she suddenly pulled back, and the force was enough for Wasteland to feel as if he had just hit a rock wall in high speed. She then pulled him upwards, causing him to hit the ceiling of the building. She repeatedly played with him as if he was a puppet, making him go up and down and hitting everything that was at her reach. Once she had finished, most of Wasteland's body was either injured or immovable. "Do you give up?" She questioned, still having her hand aimed at him. |

Wasteland could barely move. Most of his body had been broken. His lack of nerve endings in his body meant he felt a lot less pain than the average person, but that still didn't prevent him from feeling the searing tears and painful rips as his body was thrown around. When Blood Dreamer stopped, Wasteland looked up slowly and smiled, blood pouring down his face. "Sorry. Try again?" He taunted. |

As Blood Dreamer looked towards him, she made one last attack, one that caused Wasteland to fly away from the entire area and into one of the buildings far away from the battlefield that she used. Once he flied away, Blood Dreamer then turned herself towards Yoshio. "You... Look so much like him. I mean, I can barely see any traces of your mother in you..." She said, though her smirk was still there. She then turned herself around and kept on walking. "I guess I'll see you again... Soon. Until then, stay alive." Blood Dreamer said, though with a motherly tone in her voice. She then walked away, slowly fading in the distance. |

Yoshio growled in annoyance at Wasteland's words, the taunt obviously working, but his main focus was this woman who seemed a much larger threat. He was about to question her again, however paused and widened his eyes in shock when she mercilessly and easily decimated Wasteland. He eventually shook his head and regained his words only when she began to leave. "Who are you!? Why did you help me?! How the hell do you know my parents!?" He questioned her as she left. He didn't know what to think of her. She just came in and saved him, but why? |

Yzmael said: Though Yuume's head ached, her vision was blurry and her body was completely numb, she could still move slowly as she tried to get out of the room. "Understood, Mistress," Emily responded and turned on the safety on her rifle before tossing it aside and pulling out her Aegis combat knife. She tackled the delirious Yuume to the ground and attempted to wrestle the scythe from her grasp, though it was proving harder than she had originally predicted due to Yuume's extreme strength. |

As Yuume went down, she quickly started to regain her senses. Her head hit the ground and shook it quickly, trying to move quickly out of this situation. As for that, she placed her foot on Emily's stomach and pulled her away, causing her to fly upwards and end up hitting the ceiling of the lab. With that, Yuume quickly got up and turned around. Her senses were starting to return but her head was still aching. Seeing that Emily was more resistant than Yuume had thought, she quickly aimed her scythe at Emily. "Get out of my way! I've had enough of these games." She requested as she was ready to face her head on. Rika observed, ready to attack Yuume if necessary. |

Emily impacted the ceiling but barely felt it thanks to her armor. As she fell to the ground, she pulled a flashbang grenade from her assault vest, pulled the pin, and tossed it in front of Yuume all before she landed. The moment she landed, she sprinted at Yuume again and launched a punched aimed at her gut; she completely ignored the flashbang as her armor and helmet would completely negate the effects of the grenade. |

Yuume's agillity allowed her to see the grenade and, in a second, use the back of her scythe to punch it away. As she did that, the grenade flew towards Emily and hit her head with an absurd force, exploding almost immediatly. The tinge of purple on Yuume's eyes slowly became stronger as time passed and, it also felt as if her senses were not only coming back, but becoming stronger as well. It wouldn't take long until she was at a complete 100% force. The grenade's explosion, though, did nothing to Emily, who rushed towards her. As a response, Yuume used the handle of her scythe and, almost in half a second, used it to hit her stomach right on the time. After that, Yuume swinged the scythe to take Emily's head off, in a quick attack. Rika saw it all happening and, as she saw that Yuume wasn't willing to come back peacefully. "Emily, you may hurt her in order to immobilize her... But don't kill her." Rika said, calmly observing the situation as she constantly looked back. She knew that Masaru was coming and that, by now, he was very close. |

Emily quickly leapt back to avoid getting decapitated as she took a quick second to recover. The blow to her stomach was a dull pain but nothing more to that thanks to, once again, her armor. Emily realized that this person was definitely not someone who she would be able to take on without going all out so she was relieved to hear that she could hurt her in order to immobilize her. She dove to pick up her rifle, flipped off the safety, and unloaded the rest of her magazine at Yuume, aiming specifically for her arms and legs. Instead of reloading her rifle, she instead went straight for her axe which lay in a sealed container near where her suit of armor was. "I apologize, mistress, I must use this," Emily said as she punched a hole through the protective tempered glass cover, grabbed the axe, ripped it out of its container, and charged at Yuume once more. She swung the massive axe's flat side at Yuume, hoping to smack her rather than cut her in half. |

Yuume quickly rotated her scythe, causing most of the bullets to just hit the massive scythe and fall on the ground. However, the scythe also cut the ground, making a mark that served to show the strength of the scythe. Yuume remained immobile as Emily went to pick up her axe. She was truly tired of playing these games. A scowl grew on her face as the tinge of purple on her pupils became much stronger than before. Her stare was penetrating, nearly scary. As soon as the attack from Emily's axe was swung, Yuume easily evaded the attack. In her current state, evading Emily's attacks was incredibly easy, which generated a certain doubt for Rika, who already understood what this was. Yuume's volatility was absurd, to the point that she could become much stronger than most Numbers and even reach the level of Hell God. However, her expression was still the same cold, analytical stare. As soon as she evaded the attack, Yuume used the blunt side of the scythe to simply smack Emily, making her fly away from the room and into the wall, passing right through it before she hit the cold rock of the underground tunnels. Right now, they were not inside the labs anymore. Yuume walked out of the labs and towards the tunnels. Maybe this was her chance to escape. All she needed to do was defeat this girl. Unknown to her, a cold smirk grew on her face. She wanted no more to escape, her priority was now to crush this girl who dared to challenge her... Her feelings were starting to change. |

Whether through instinct or just sheer will, Emily somehow held onto her axe the entire time, even after being sent through the solid rock and she used it to help her stand up even as she coughed up blood into her helmet. This girl was definitely not someone who she could fight directly but even so, she couldn't allow her to escape. She threw her axe up into the ceiling with all her might, the impact causing it to crack and begin to crumble, though far enough away from her to make sure she wouldn't be caught in its inevitable collapse. She then drew her Aegis combat knife and stepped forward, ready to do everything she possibly could to prevent her from leaving. |

Masaru finally closed in on their position, slowing down as he approached where Yuume had escaped. He examined where they had been keeping her shortly before looking to the rubble, then to Rika. "I would suggest that you and any other of your subordinates intent on getting in the way stand down." He warned her in a calm voice as he strolled passed her and approached the large hole in the wall. "You will come to regret this greatly. Whatever it is you were hoping to do with my daughter, attempting it will not be worth aggravating me." He added in a blank tone that didn't at all fit the threat. Even though Masaru didn't see it happen, he still knew that Yuume had made that giant hole. |
