Here is my latest one although Im not very proud of it (>.<) I think I rushed it a bit too much although a self portrait the composition is boring..... could of thrown more detail into the coat but didn't *sigh*

Well, the problem with the drawing is the shoulders. They about 1 whole head length down from the chin. Realistic proportions are about 1/3 of a head length down. Shoulders are about 2 to 2.5 heads wide and your drawing is about 3 heads wide. I realize you're not going for reality here, but you still have to be within bounds. I mean, the 1/2 a head or so you're off on the body width isn't that big of a deal. But the neck is 3 times longer than it is in reality and that's why it looks so awkward. Anyway, Keep drawing and getting better. Aside from a little proportion issue the drawing looks great.

Thanks for the help while i was looking at it I just couldn't tell what the hell the issue was. I might redo it but not sure.
I know all about proportions but i ignored them being the main focus of this drawing was the coat itself not the person. I realize how silly that sounds though . . . .

New art!

This is of my Original Character, Akiha (also known as Kuzunoha). She is a kitsune spirit and this is her human form. (:

This style is much more in my element than my last drawing (the one of Anaru) because it's less... anim-ish? More realistic body shape and not super big eyes. This is my normal style.

Hope you guys like it!

Nice, the style of the kanji on the bottles caught my eye, too.

Here is a sketch I did on Sketchbook pro, trying to get more practice in on it...

Link to the wolf (Haven't figured out how to share from deviantart yet...)

I want to get back and add more detail and color but, alas, many of my drawings stay half finished...

This is my first attempt at drawing a mech. It's really a pen and marker thumbnail sketch, but this thing is really blown up by the camera. In reality its only 2.5 inches wide. Hope you like it.

Thank you! I really love doing lineart. It's probably one of my favorite parts of drawing, and I'm almost sad to color it sometimes! >__<

If you're a fan of linearts, here's a few of my others (that I just happen to love the lineart versions of!) - a few larges images, so let it load! (:

My signature is also my drawing. Someone asked me to draw them a sushi tattoo, so I made a lineart and the hirigana says "Oishii!" (which is delicious or yummy if you aren't familiar with the word)

Also this picture is very intriguing ... because of my love of fantasy and magic :/

Friends are telling me that I need simpler as well as easy projects -_- ... they're probably right.
Sticking to the fact that this is a website about anime I chose to use my copy of photoshop that I never touch. Any way so I decided to combine my love of anime with my interests in "dignified" graffiti. Don't get me wrong, I'll most likely be posting my pencil drawings here and there, but for now, this "anime graffiti" is all that will be coming out of my mind.

This is what I got so far ... and I'm liking it.

I don't know if you're familiar with Kitsune lore, but it's my OC's (Akiha, who was posted above - you'll also notice that she has the same thing in hers) hoshi no tama. It's a magical ball that kitsune carry with them because it's the source of their power and they say it possibly holds their soul. If a Kitsune loses their ball or it's stolen and they are away from it, they will die within days.

The story of our roleplay is that his Naoto witnesses a monster procession, and ends up taking my hoshi no tama. I then have to try and get it back, and I have to stay with him and promise him a favor to get it back. Our story is based off of some popular old folktales, and I'm really excited!!

And I think the perspective looks pretty good. I can't pinpoint any issues here! The only thing I can say is that if she's supposed to have her upper torso faced up at you, like level, then her lower torso going into the spider body is a bit too long.

Wow, i love the first drawing! the pose and everything is really nice :) love the flow of the hair too. Question, how do you do your line work; with pen and paper or with a program?

Your signature is very cute too =) also with your story about the Kitsune lore sounds really interesting ^^

Keep up the great work *thumbs up*

@ Myo_Chan

Thank you so much! And I do all of my work with a tablet in photoshop, from sketch to final product. I don't use pen tool, though, just hand inking with the brush tool on 3px. Inking is probably one of the more time consuming parts of the drawing for me because I try and make it perfect, but I really like it! I find it much easier to do it digitally.

In the past I used to draw on paper then scan it in and paint from there, but it was like four extra steps and this always looks better anyway. I only draw something on paper like once a year ROFL. xD;;;

Thank you! It's a roleplay so it should be really neat! I didn't have any idea how involved and huge lore is around kitsune, so I was very intrigued and just had to make my character one! <3

Wow all in Photoshop nice one :) anytime i use Photoshop my work turns out crap :/ so i switched to SAI lol but anyway, yeah i can tell by looking at your drawings i can see how much time and effort you put into them.

Yeah same, Kitsune lore is one of the most interesting stories for me. Hope all goes well with your role-playing with the story and characters :) and also keep up the great work ;)

Woah, I love the details you put in your OC! I really like your drawing style c:

Well, here's two of mine. Sadly, I don't have a tablet yet so I'm still relying on just drawing with a paper and pencil, and unfortunately for this first picture the paper is lined. Ehh.

Her name's Redcap. Just google "child's play hazuki nano" and you'll get some info, I can't really describe it.

Yay no lined paper This girl is Alice from Pandora Hearts. I didn't put too many details in her dress, though.
