Was surprised when Susaku repented to Lelouch and shot the emperor through the eyes with a bow gun.

So if lancelot fired that, and kallen was there, did it kill them both? I dont remember them rolling out.

This episode made my prediction concerning the Black Knights and Zero's relationship come true.

Also, perhaps Lelouch is going to be the good guy now and Suzaku is the evil one.

And damn, but I actually felt sorry for Rollo.

^ Unfortunately, I agree. It doesn't feel like there's as much passion in what's happening as back in season 1 or even the beginning of R2.

It's a shame, but there's still the possibility the rest of the series will make sense, though I don't see how seeing Lelouch and Charles have tea will be anything exciting.

I'm still interested in seeing where this goes. I have confidence that it'll end fairly well and next eps we'll get some decent explanation.

Perhaps these last episodes should just be about Lulu and Charles locked in a tea-drinking duel with enough serious business to put Yu-Gi-Oh to shame. And for their battlefield, they'll be using... Table-kun!

But seriously, I call Gainax ending.

I liked it better when they were just down to earth fighting to overcome the evil empire and Lelouch had his own reasons of revenge underlining everything. Forget all this geass shit. Leave that development to CC and leave Lelouch and the rest to fight Britannia.

I liked the clever use of the geass thing, the whole immortal weird olympus crap sucks though. I also dislike the whole CC/marianne thing going on. Its like the ZNT thing with the dudes code...why bother taking something away (her memories) just to give it back a few episodes later with absolutely nothing to show for it other than an episode or two of submissive CC fanservice.

Trust me, you know a show has gone downhill when even the director agrees.

Oh, I knew about that for ages, but that's really not his fault and to be frank, I think he's doing an amazing job in light of that. I mean, when you have to throw out the ENTIRE SCRIPT and start from scratch, it's pretty crazy.

Makes me wonder what Geass R2 would've been like. No Rolo, for one...

*minor (meaning not ZOMGZ END OF WORLD) spoilers below*

Yeah, I thought Suzaku went gay or something, only to realize that was another Lancelot. Wtf was the point? Mass pro'ing Albion or developing anti-FLEIJA measures to mount on said pink Knightmare is all I got.

Also, Schneizel is a magnificent dick, but I still can't take him seriously as the villain...not even when he *spoilered* so and so this episode. It just...yeah, I just seriously can't see him like that. Also, it got absurdly Death Noteish once or twice I thought, with a comment that basically said "Schneizel, you..." "Yep, planned everything including Zero, all so I could suck my own dick as Emperor!"

It just was like...yeeeeeeeah.

Oh my fucking god. I had just (unfortunately) caught up with the Geass I wasn't following for quite some time (eps 16-23). I didn't have any respect for Geass to begin with but now I'm just... speechless... Fuck, I would seriously rather rewatch Evangelion then this... well maybe not, but they are very approximate in the disaster gauge...

Awww, come on, Groove. We know R2's been one giant cheesefest from the beginning, but that's no reason to despair.

Now let's forget about our troubles with a good ol' non-stop Gungrave marathon!

Don't worry Groove, Susaku may just possibly die by the end of the series. That should boost your enjoyment of the show up a little.

On the other hand it seems a death for Nina isn't on the cards. Sorry Vino.

24 wasnt too bad, it kinda had that season 1 feel with the move lulu pulled on schniezel. It was kinda cheesy how kallen and cc fought each other in mechs..its like milly fighting suzuku or something and i think they were trying some cliche metaphor for the love triangle.

No, cause even after Schneizel gets Geassed, he's still just as fabulous...just simultaneously gay for Zero.

Also, why the hell did he say "Serve Zero!" instead of me, or Lelouch, etc, etc? Makes me think the Zero Requiem really does involve Zero...
