Will there be drinking? PLEASE TELL ME THERE WILL BE DRINKING. If Yui and Ritsu are already hilarious sober just imagine...

Also, hopefully this will set a trend for more series to continue after high school. I'm tired of seeing shows concluding when the main cast graduates high school, as if the end of high school means people's lives are more or less over and that there's nothing interesting that happens afterwards. Screw that, I for one would love to see characters grow as people.

Apparently OTAKU are Horrified at the idea that the girls might get boyfriends in college.

I was literally on the FLOOR when I read that article, it's amazing how creepy Japanese Otaku really are.

Boyfriends might bring in the possibility of sex scenes why can't they see that as a PLUS.

I don't really think they will get BF though, first of all they're attending a WOMEN'S university....as in NO MEN ALLOWED university.

Secondly, K-ON! has NEVER been about romance or anything that would lead us to believe that the girls are interested in love.

Lastly, we all know that MIO and RITSU are YURI for each other, so.....maybe we'll have a YURI-ON!.....haha get it...

Yes can't be having that, that might imply they're becoming adults now and starting to find happiness and grow into more complete human beings as opposed to perpetual children like the otaku that worship them. Perhaps if they actually watched characters mature into adulthood they might be encouraged to become adults emotionally themselves.

After reading 5 new chapters of this, I'm just a little curious about something: "How IF this going to be animated?". I mean, how the anime will be like?

You know, this is two different storyline/plots in the same Manga. Maybe for manga I don't feel this is too strange. But for anime I feel a bit strange. Just like imagining xxxHolic and Tsubasa in one same anime series, lol.

Does anybody think the same as me?

It'd likely be animated separately. They are branching spin-offs with different points of view so making two shows seems reasonable. Or they'll take the most popular manga (after a few volumes) and adapt that one, adding details from the other one here and there.

Well, the idea of taking the most popular and adding details from the other sounds more realistic to me. But for animated separatedly, I think that still a little bit strange too. I mean, two different titles? "K-On!!! Yui" and "K-On!!! Azu"? lol. But, of course everything is still possible since the Manga is still publishing.

I’m not a hater, but there’s a point in which things get out of control; serializing two manga at the same time it’s crazy.

How in the world are two mangas of the same franchise serialized at the same time "crazy"? That's extremely common for successful franchises. For example, there are/were many mangas of Amagami running at the same time: Amagami!, Amagami: Sincerely Yours, Amagami: Precious Diary, Amagami: Love Goes On! and Amagami: Close to You. If there is something you should be surprised of, is the fact that there are only two mangas of K-On planned to be serialized.

Please, don't tell me you actually believe what Sankaku Complex says and that you truly believe that this article really shows an accurate and realistic depiction of the average Japanese "Otaku"...

Of Otaku? yes. Otaku does not equal fans, it equals extremely obsessed fans. If you've never noticed obsessed fans tend to err on the side of creepy.

That's not to say Sankaku complex is not a tabloid sensationalist website because it is. But people need to take the misguided idea out of their heads that being an Otaku is a good thing. To Japan, an anime Otaku is about on the same level of creepy and annoyance as weeaboos really.

Sounds interesting, to say the least...
As a big K-ON! fan, I hope Yen Press decides to license these serializations as well.
