| Masaru arrived at the park with his pistol hidden under his clothes and a couple flashlights. He found the tunnel and walked inside it cautiously. |

| Masaru turned around quickly. "Oh, it's just you Zero. So, what'd you want to talk about?" |

| "No one. I'm kind of a social outcast and don't get along with many people. Now, what did you want to talk about?" Masaru asked leaning against the wall. |
|
| "I want to get Kira's notebooks. I've done research, and if my hunch is right, only a limited amount can be on this earth at once. If I can get the Kira's notebooks, we won't have to worry about anymore Kiras popping up. Right now though, I don't have any." Masaru said shrugging. |
|
| "And what resource is this?" Masaru asked narrowing his eyes. Rin was watching and listening to the conversation. But out of range for anyone to sense him. |
|
| "If this person is spying on me and digging up stuff about me. I think it'd be best if you did say, Zero." Masaru said in a cold tone with slight killer intent. |
|
| "Rin? I don't know a Rin. But if I find them I'll speak with them." Masaru said leaning against the wall. "But, I really don't have a death note. Do you?" |
|
| "Fine, I do have a death note. However, don't tell anyone. Don't even say it out loud to yourself. I do have the shinigami eyes and I'm not above killing a kid if I am forced to." Masaru said completely serious. "I take it you have one as well?" |
|
| "I might have a piece of it with me. But my shinigami isn't even here. He's off being a jackass somewhere." Masaru said coldly. Rin immediately scowled at his comment. |

| "Let me touch yours first." Masaru said calmly. |
|
| Masaru pulled out his piece and let him touch it as he touched Zero's death note. "Alright, now is that it?" |
|
| "That's for him to decide not me. Shinigami aren't slaves or sevents." Masaru said shoving the piece back in his pocket. |
|
| "You'll find out when your older." Masaru said annoyed. "But I do not know her." |
|
| Masaru sighed and walked back to his car, having the driver take him back to the Chateau. |
