Added characters not being added/confirmed

Soooo... it's been a while since I've actually added new characters to series which didn't have any characters in them. And when I did, it asked me to follow the minimum requirements for adding a photo, and even a source link to the photo. Unlike before, the mods would check it themselves and send a message regarding the photo or the whole adding itself. But now, it doesn't seem like it since after completing everything from names to series and picture (optional), it goes straight to being added or something.

I've done so to many characters so far, specifically to the series 'Principles of a Philosopher by Eternal Fool 'Asley'' and another one I forgot.

My question now is, are the mods still manually checking them since adding a character will not be so easy unless it completes all the requirements? Or will they be automatically updated after a month or so after adding the character?
