I think Jojo's Bizzare Adventure and My Hero Academia are a bit overrated, doesn't mean they aren't good though! I just think they get too much hype

Demon slayer 💯 the story is shit makes no sense at all the only thing that carries it is the animation the fight sense are just ok idk why people act like Its the best

Can we talk about how Underrated Kill la Kill is though? It barely gets any attention from mainstream anime fans. It's so weird and absurd but thats what makes it unique. Will always be one of my favorites.

Overrated: Demon Slayer, In general I'm not a big fan of shounen fight anime but I really don't get the hype in demon slayer, the characters are so boring and the anime is very generic

Underrated: Capeta, It's so underrated no one even mentions it because no one knows it. I t as a good story, nice characters and incredible racing.

Underrated: Princess Connect re:Dive. This one really surprised me. It's surprisingly good for an anime based solely on a gatcha game. It's got a wholesome feel to it, cute characters, doesn't take itself too seriously and made me laugh a lot. I've only seen S1 so far but look forward to S2.

Spy x Family is overrated. Look, I love the manga, but the anime doesn’t give off the same vibe.
Underrated, Erased. It should be contending for top 100 anime at LEAST

Jujutsu Kaisen is the most overrated and overhyped show i've ever seen. Literally just like every other shonen, people only meat ride it because of the animation. Also Gojo is just Kakashi from wish.

Underrated is Kotoura-san which was also my first anime, it has such a good story and loveable characters. Such a great experience.

Overrated: One Piece. Might be better but I'm not gonna slog through 50 episodes. Also Neon Genesis Evangelion. Couldn't get into it, sorry.
Underrated: girls UND panzer. Not a must watch, but it's pretty good.

Overrated animes: Black Clover, My Heroes Academy, Boruto, Classroom of the Elite, Fruits Basket, Fate series

Underrated animes: Chobits, Your lie in April, Eromanga Sensei, A little sisters all you need, Recovery of an MMO junkie, New Game!

I really enjoyed the first season, but once the MC wasn't hated by everyone & was pardoned, it lost its main selling point & the big thing that made it feel unique.

One underrated show I would say is Violet Evergarden. Almost everyone I've seen talk about it loves it, but it deserves more attention. Kyoto Animation will always produce beautiful eye candy, & the stories throughout the show had me crying far more than I'd care to admit.

I agree with your Overrated ones and would like to add Chainsaw Man and Black Clover on my part.

Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen are basically the same: dude gains powers by incorporating a demon and sets off to collect more "demon parts".

Black Clover is, to me, a mash-up of every possible shonen cliché.

I also cannot understand Oshi no Ko...

Underrated:
Rurouni Kenshin - yes, after the Anime estranges from the Manga it drops in quality but I hope this reboot will finally do the work justice

Overrated: Fruits Basket, Blue spring ride.
Okay sorry, fruits basket is alright, but blue spring ride.. literally the two best friends who have a crush on the same guy get mad at each other and argue that they can't both like him at one point.. couldn't finish it after that.

Underrated: Moriarty the Patriot, Talentless Nana, 7 seeds project, dramatical Murder (probably for the character designs alone), deadman wonderland, angels of death
