Feel free to add any suggestions you have for anime that we can watch next semester. The general rules are to pick a show with
1) only one season (26 - 28 episodes or less) so we can actually finish it in time
2) not a lot (if any) fan service since it can be gross to watch that stuff in a big group (unless it's Free)
3) some sort of critical acclaim so we know it's probably a decent show

That's pretty much it, post away!

For some reason clubs don't actually have a list, so I've just been adding everything we've watched to the "Anime Relations section. I'll post a list here when I'm done so everyone can see it easier

I would like to suggest red garden. It is 22 episodes long, it is basically about the 4-5 high school girls tryikgnto stay alive by killing these werewolf type people at night. (Um there are a lot of other stuff that I am not saying but if you would like to look it up you can). Although I am not sure where you could find it because I am pretty sure it is not on crunchy roll.

Also jyu oh sei is pretty good, it is 13 episodes long. It is set in the future where humans aren't living on earth. The main characters are sent to a planet that is like earth with man eating plants and stiff, and have to fend for themselves. (Also you may want to go look it up to get a better idea on what it is about)

Here's the full list of what we've seen as a group since I became president:
Baccano!
Angel Beats!
Guilty Crown
Tokyo Ghoul
Space☆Dandy
Space☆Dandy 2nd Season
Samurai Champloo
FLCL
Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica
No.6
Tokumu Sentai Shinesman
Ao no Exorcist

Let me know if I missed anything, but I'm pretty sure that's it

So because you said no fan service shows does that mean Monster Musume is off the table?http://myanimelist.net/anime/30307/Monster_Musume_no_Iru_Nichijou

I totally loved the idea of doing movie nights (esp ghibli movie nights), but I know those can be hard to organize. I second the idea of season 2 Free! Some funnier ones are the Devil is a Part-timer, Silver Spoon, and Welcome to the NHK.

At first I thought "Heh, fan service doesn't tend to be too excessive in anime that's broadcasted on Japanese television, how bad could it be?". Five minutes into the first episode, there was so much fan service and in such colossal proportions that I couldn't help but chuckle at how ridiculous it was. Even for harem anime it seemed like a lot.

I was going to say Fairy Tail but it's too long. It will be awesome to watch Nanatsu no Taizai (The 7 deadly sins). Exaggerated power, a lot of fighting, nice character development and is just in Season 1. Next Season will come up around October, I think.

How did the group do with Baccano!?
If it went well, season 1 of Durarara!! could be fun
Devil is a Part-Timer is another good one as TsuyoiKumori recommended
Persona 4 had a weird beginning and end but the middle was excellent

If we're going older, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Outlaw Star didn't seem to be listed

Throwing Star Driver into the mix again!

I've also been curious about Gakkougurashi! I don't know anything about it besides the premise, but it looks interesting.
