| Well, I already said to you... I'm furious because of the Westernization. I never liked it and especially when them bishounens had to cut off their hair and wear the crappy uniforms. Well, they look hott either way, samurai > soldiers; katanas > guns. As for everything else, I'm glad this season has more Hijikata x Chizuru hints, and I think the girl will prove more useful, since they can use her blood and everything. Now, I'll just wait for Sannan-san to get more screen time and maybe give it an 8 on my list. It will be kinda empty without Yamazaki though, and not to mention that I expect deaths of a few more characters. |

| Their uniform looks pretty good, though I miss the old uniform. I'm still wondering why Kondou-san is acting in this manner. Did I miss it somewhere in the show? |
| Kondou-san is the most pissed one about Westernization out there. I like him. He's a real stubborn samurai. On the other hand, is it just me, or Chizuru's screen time is getting shorter. In 2nd episode all she said was "Hijikata-san" "Saitou-san" "Kondou-san" "I want to be useful". Poor girl. I'd kill to see Kaoru being a lead character, then we'd get a feisty little trap instead of a slow useless girl. I like how this show has more and more yaoi potential. |

| Honestly, of all the routes in the game they decided to follow Hijikatas [bad enging] route! Aw come on, why couldn't they go with Sanosuke's route and make a truly happy ending where everyone survives and Chizuru and Sano get married and live happily ever-after? D: |

| In real life they died, so at least this way it's more historically accurate to an extent. |
