| Name: Eva Nostra Age: mid 20's in appearance but true age unknown Demon or Elementalist: demon Faction: Syndicate About Me: Eva was once a high ranking official amongst the Syndicate but was demoted for reasons she wishes not to talk about at this time. Currently she is co-captain of a low ranking group named the Reaper Squad whose man purpose is the elimination of elementalists and other threats to the Syndicate regime. She took the position in this squad due to reasons attached to her demotion. Her personality is brash and crude at times. She lacks tack and enjoys watching others suffer. She refers to her victims as playthings and is always in search of a new toy to break. Special Powers: Eva uses an ability called the dark scalpel. She is able to condense her dark energy into small blades which are razor sharp hence the name dark scalpel. Though simple in theory the ability is quite dangerous in practice since she is deadly precise with her aim. She also has the ability to create a dark flame which is highly condensed and very hot. Though his nature is no where as near as dark as hers. He joined the side of the demon's after watching his parents murdered by Elementalist. Vowing revenge he joined the syndicate to eliminate them. His demeanor is calm in comparison to his partners and he seems to be only one who knows about her shadowy past. Though a hybrid Abel has cast aside his elementalist heritage and uses only his demon abilities. Anyone who mentions his heritage in a derogatory manner is dealt with much like Lucy Liu dealt with her doubters in Kill Bill. Special Powers: He uses an ability called shadow puppetry. It works much like the shadow puppets kids make on the wall with flashlights except his aren't harmless fun and cause physical damage to the enemy. And like her father she is very well verse in the fire element and follows the beat of her own drummer (though her drummer isn't as strange as her fathers). Currently she is uncharacteristically serving in the Dynasty army as a Cleaner, officially soliders charged with hunting down undesirable demons and bringing them to justice, unofficially …well you make the guess. Her reason for joining this organization is simple, find information on Hirosaki as she lost track of him after they left Keito in her father’s care and Misaki in her older brother's care for currently undisclosed reasons, though this fact is a secret to all those she works among as they know nothing of her past or half demon son and daughter. Both of which would be frowned upon by the organizations. Her personality is nice and easy going sometimes careless looking on the surface yet under the façade she is very capable and calculating. She has a vice for alcohol, currently lollipops, bar fights, gambling, and sometimes is a pretentious flirt. Special Powers: Jia is a fire elementalist and very adapt at it able to both physically control fire and able to use fires attributes, like heating things, with out creating actual flames. She also has the ability to heal minor wounds by using the activation power of flames to make the persons own cells reproduce in a sped up fashion causing the wound to heal. Surprisingly for an elementalist who is very adapted at her element she prefers weapons combat reframing from using her flames until needed or forced. Their reach and influence once rivaled that of the Sato clan and they obediently served Daemon Immortals fighting on their side in the battles that eventually led to their defeat and imprisonment by the guardians. After these battles Kannagi were hunted down as conspirators and majority were killed off. Hiroaki deciding to leave all ties to his family where they belonged in the past took up a new identity and avoided the massacre. Since his life had been going very well until about 17 years ago when he felt the seal of the guardian's weakening and the call of the Kannagi blood in him wanting to serve those masters. As to not have his new family involved in such Hiroaki disappeared leaving behind 2 small children and a wife. He enlisted himself in the Syndicate army, retaking his old identity as by this time the Kannagi name was lost to history and began gaining rank using there influence to gain information on the locations of the 6 immortals. It is still unclear as to whether he intends to follow his ancestors and serve them or stand against them. Special Powers: Hiroaki has the ability to make both animate and inanimate objects volatile at the molecule level using his dark energy, thus causing them to become combustive or explode. As a weapon choice he chooses to carry around small projectile type objects his favorite of which to use are marbles(it would be too ironic to use cards) though he has been known to in battle use whatever's in the surrounding area to his advantage. Fong is a master fire elementist who once trained soldiers for the elementalist army until his wife died leaving him and his two children behind. After her death he decided to quit the army and devote himself to his family. After his daughter Jia ran away after that “idiot husband” of hers Fong took in and raised Keito. He had wanted to also take in his granddaughter but for reasons uncontrollable by him his “air headed son” took her into his care. Though his grandson is a hybrid he has never held that against him and cares for the boy very much even though he gives him quite the hard time and is constantly embarrassing him. Fong’s personality is fun loving and relaxed a far cry from the strict ways of his youth and before his wife died. He has a fondness for younger women and girls and has complained to Keito before that he should have been a girl so he could have dressed him up in cute little outfits as a kid. Fong loves trying foreign foods (and foreign women), he’s an good musician, and he also likes picking on his son who he has multiple goofy names for. Special Powers: Fong is a fire elementalist he controls all that falls under the domain of flame including but not limited to fire breathing, changing his own aura to flame, creating weapons and summons from flame, and healing. He also has control over molten things like magma. Normal Image: To come later Fighter form:Fong unleashes his flames and they surround him like an aura. Though that didn't last. Miles has been imprisoned in the observatory prison for a total of ten years now as he was locked up the day after his 18th birthday for a crime he didn't commit. He was accused of killing the daughter of one of the schools headmasters after he was found at the scene of the crime. He claims that he found the girl that way but the powers that be didn't want to hear it. Especially once the fact that he held demon blood in his veins was brought to light. So he was thrown in jail and there he has remained probably forgotten by the outside word and having only contact with the guards who throw him food on occasion to keep him alive, for reasons unknown to him. Miles though imprisoned has kept a rather light hearted personality. He's generally sarcastic and brash at times. He seems not to care much what happens to him and generally does things just to find some kind of excitement as being locked up has bored him to death and made him a bit insane. Though he would never admit it. Special Powers:Wind Elementalist(particularly uses sound attributes of wind)/shadow charmer Miles has the ability to use sound as a weapon as well as the ability to use his voice to charm shadows and the inanimate to do his bidding. Ok that was a bit obvious, but here's something that's not. She has the ability when someone is going to die in less than 12 hours. She can't tell the precise details of the death, but she's never been wrong on time. At first people loved her power because they could try to prevent their untimely death...however, that quickly changed when people realized that whoever she said would die, ends up dieing no matter what anyone does about it. They ostracized her, threw things at her, and even used their own powers against her...all because they started to think that she was the reason why those people died. That she's a jinx or she's cursed. This led her to develop a cynical point of view of people in general. She's anti-social, and claims to never have anything interesting to talk about so she doesn't talk much. If she dislikes someone, she will purposely act sadistic and heartless to get them to dislike her as well. She learned martial arts and has a black belt in 4 different styles: Judo, Tai Kwon Do, Southern Mantis style Kung Fu, and Tiger style Kung Fu. As such she has great balance and is very hard to knock down. She's a great singer, but hides that fact from others. Special Powers: Hyper-speed, flight, can mimic the voice of anyone she hears. Her mother was a water elementalist and her father was a wind elementalist. She inherited both of those powers and the combination created her ability to freeze things. Her parents were scientists and discovered a wayto travel across dimensions and into other worlds, but they feared that their own invention would be used for evil purposes, so they took a young Katherine and used the device and landed on a planet called Earth. Earth was unlike what they've seen before because there weren't any elementalists or demons, but studying the history folklore of the world suggested to them that elementalists and demons existed there before, but they were much fewer in number. As an extra precaution, they hid their device away from people in their own 'garage' as the locals called it. They also adopted the last name 'Jones' Kat eventually had to live alone because her parents dissappeared, but she found the device and somehow remembered it. She used it to travel back to this world and then destroyed it. She kept her powers sealed for so long that her body temperature is always 90 degrees fahrenheit. 8.6 degrees lower than usual. She dislikes warm weather and likes to collect handmade swords. She even has a forge with which she can make said blades, but she hates how hot it gets in there. She is red type colorblind. Which means that she cannot see red in any of its shades or forms, they appear to be gray. She was born that way, so don't try to explain what red is. She's good friends with quite a few demons, elementalists, AND hybrids. In fact, she's good friends with Lore Fellguard and is a childhood friend of Mai Darya. Special Powers: Can freeze things she is in physical contact with. Anything frozen by her can be shattered quite easily. Can use her katana as an implement to extend the range of her power. He beat her into thinking that she was completely human and worthless. However, a powerful demon wearing black armor attacked her house soon afterwards. He killed everyone inside but Mai and her father to teach them how it feels to have to raise a child alone. Her father blamed her for it and brought out the whip, but Mai snapped and murdered him. There was nothing but ash by the time she was done. Turns out that the demon she hung out with was her demonic half made into a solid being. Special Powers: Control and creation of flames. Immunity to heat and flames. Can cook things on her own body by regulating body temperature. Immune to fevers. The color of her flames changes depending on her emotions. She enrolled herself to this school to learn to better control her awesome power. For the presence of power isn't her problem, it's controlling it. She came from a once noble city as its leader, however her people turned on her. She took to a deep sleep that lasted over 100 years, sleeping until human and demon can live peacefully. She awoke to see her old city in ruins, her once proud city turned into the undead. She swore to slay whoever was responsible. Mari does not know this. Mari is extremely dependent on Kasa. So much so that she can't seem to function mentally without him. In fact, removing him causes an obscene amount of stress on her mind. This is due to the suggestions and lies that Kasa implanted into her mind over the years. It would indeed take someone very special to keep her from losing it while Kasa isn't around. Mari has an angelic singing voice and likes to sing when she's feeling down and she's alone. Only Kasa has heard her sing. Regardless of being called "tone deaf" and being ridiculed every time, she continues to sing. Special Powers: Water manipulation, can change the state of water at anytime. Zheng is a master trapper and tactician who once fought in the elementalist army until his sister, Jia, ran from home with that "good-for nothing demon" husband of hers. Fong, Zheng's father, took in and raised Keito. He had wanted to also take in Misaki, but for reasons uncontrollable by him Zheng took her into his care. Originally intolerable of anything demonic, Zheng beat Misaki mercilessly when her powers surfaced. Eventually, though, he fell victim to her power and was forced to like her. He was aware of it the whole time and at first became more resentful...but later on, he came to realize something. Misaki was desperate...and he had made her so. Believing that he had failed and disgraced his entire family, he sought forgiveness from her when control was given back, and he became a new man. Taking on a costumed identity and employing his mastery of weapons and traps, he vowed to fight for the justice of elementalist, hybrid, and demon alike as "Black Shroud" Zheng’s personality is serious yet relaxed. He's a bit air-headed but he's usually the voice of reason. A far cry from the strict ways of his youth. He has a fondness for individuality and independence, and has even told Misaki to become her own person, not one that everyone else wants her to be. About Me: A genius at birth, but a slacker by choice. She started in school with terrible grades because she was bored. One day though, she met a soldier named Sonya Morisane. This was the turning point in her life as Sonya became sort of a surrogate mother to her. Her own parents hide died in the war, but Sonya was different then the other soldiers. Sonya took the young Riley under her wing and taught her many forms of combat, tactics, and strategy. Due to Riley's intelligence, she learned quickly and found that she likes to learn. She was admitted into the Guardians Academy a little while ago but she has a poor sense of direction and always has a hard time finding her classes...even with a map! She's best friends with Thea even though she has slightly different interests. Riley has never played a video game but she still thinks they're boring and stupid. However, her power is so great that she herself cannot travel through planes, or else she might destroy whatever plane she leaves. To fix this problem, she sealed a majority of her power in a hexagonal device marked with trigrams. When she needs to use it, she calls on the power necessary. She even has one on her house so it can come with her, but it has a 4 day recharge. Her golden eyes could confuse people on this world into thinking she's a demon or at least a hybrid, but in reality she's a full blown human. Now about her past. Her parents were killed by raiders when she was 3, then she was sold into slavery at a temple devoted to lust. A powerful Sorceress saved her from that temple and adopted the young, nameless girl as her apprentice and named her Minoriko Yukihara, after the greatest spellcaster to ever live. Skip 11 years. She was mixing a potion one day when a strange man walked into her masters shop. The man asked for a greater life potion. Her mistress out on an errand, she wanted to say that he'll have to wait but saw the urgency in his face and mixed the potion herself. When he asked her how much he owed she smiled and said "It's on the house." The man was impressed with her generosity and went on his way. Now, this man was a very powerful Planes Walker, and one with great influence. He and two of his comrades fought long and hard in another plane to prevent an evil group of Planes Walkers from destroying all of existence. However, one of his comrades fell in battle. Hoping that the potion he got would help, he forced it down her throat. Nothing seemed to happen at first, but then she breathed again, brought back from the doors of death. He then realized that the potion wasn't greater life...it was a resurrection potion. Deeply moved by this, he went back to that shop to thank her when he found her mistress berating her for doing that on her own. He defended her and eventually convinced the gods themselves to bestow the power of the Planes upon her. Thus, the youngest planes walker in history found her calling. Unfortunately, that power mixed with her magical power and let's just say that wasn't good. She experienced horrible pain daily if she didn't use enough magic. She then constructed something that would seal her power over the gap between planes, thus relieving that pain. During one of her trips to another world, she ate a strange fruit that tasted worse than old gym socks, then her body changed. Her body naturally produces chlorophyll and she can command plants. Now she is stuck in this world until she can fix her device...her and her own shop/house. Special Powers: Use of magic (requires an implement of some kind), alchemy (potions and stuff, not FMA), travel through different planes (when her special device is working and fully charged), can control flora and change parts of her body into plant-like weapons. He used to work at Guardians Academy, and was famous for his healing, until it became too much, and he left to live in the Outskirts. He is extremely intelligent and owns the bookstore in Border Town, which actually has hidden spell books. He cannot talk, which is why his 'special power' comes in handy. Jun has knowledge of the locations of every immortal, plus he knows who 6 of the 7 heroes were, but he has no desire to share that information. In a sense, he watches over every immortal and their guards, just as an extra eye. He is very kind and giving, even to elementalists. His fighting ability passes one of a guard, but he saves his energy for healing, for he prefers peace over war. Special Powers: Can heal almost any wound. | Name: Misaki Kanesaki Student or Teacher: Student Age: 13 Demon or Elementalist: Hybrid, charm and fire. About Me: When their parents deserted them, their grandfather took Keito while their uncle in europe took her. Being both both demon and elementalist she has found it hard to be accepted by either side. She has been looked down on by other demons and frowned upon by element users. Even her uncle hated it. Her personality and behavior are tomboyish and rebellious in nature. She's been known to have a brash attitude, foul mouth, bad temper, sharp tongue, bullheaded, and argumentative. Shes quickly angered at times and tends to resolve most of her problems with harsh words and brutal honesty. She's actually very sweet and affectionate to those whom she trusts, and she's got her brothers soft spot for kids and is always willing to help them out. While Keito chooses to suppress his demonic form most of the time, Saki embraces it. Having used it constantly to keep her uncle from beating her. Because of this she also has learned to rely mostly on her demonic abilities and lacks complete control over her so-called "lighter" side. Though recently this side of her has been making itself more apparent and she fears that eventually it will go out of control, burning everyone she comes into contact with. Her uncle hated her father (a demon) especially since he married his sister. He also hated demons in general and found her an abomination of nature. He rarely spoke to her until she was ten, then the beatings started. For two long years she was subjected to this torment, this hell. Then he suddenly started to act pleasant. Saki had found that she can manipulate what was called "pheromones." She finally had the loving caretaker she always wanted...but the beatings have left her scarred, mostly around the arms and legs where the jagged scars made by a whip are located. There's also a rather large one on her back that she's self-conscious about. Then she took up Wicca and stopped using her power altogether. Knowing that forcing someone to like you would come back and bite her in the ass one day. Miraculously though, her uncle stayed the same and even apologized to her for being a terrible parent to her. He even broke down into tears. She started crying herself and forgave the man for everything. To this day, she regards that as a miracle granted to her from the gods as a reward for mending her ways. The man even let her go to school and make friends. She came here after recieving a letter in the mail from the guardians academy, practically begging her to sign up. And that's how she got here. | Name: Vanon Age: unknown Demon or Elementalist: Demon Faction: NPC About Me: A creature that has been sleeping on the bottom of the ocean in a pod-like ship for more than half a century. Before this he had been travelling to different planets, searching for technological advancements that would make him very powerful. He came to earth and discovered elementalists and demons; ploting the idea to harness the powers these individuals posess into raw energy to make them into energy sources or even weapons. When his expiriments were discovered by authorites, a great battle ensued and his ship was shot out of the sky and landed in the ocean, sinking to the bottom where many believe the under water pressure. As it fell to the ocean floor, surrounded by rock formations and underwater canyons, the ship's hull shielding protected it from hull breaches due to pressure from ever occuring and Vanon went into stasis while the ship's droid assistant made repairs to life support and sublight engines then it went to sleep. Only when Kit had discovered the ship did it awaken, and awakened Vanon as well. Vanon, not knowing how much time had passed or how deep his ship had sunk, tried to capture Kit. He used the ship's ion cannons to scare Kit away from the hull so he could use the teleportation to teleport him into the ship. The blast grazed Kit and knocked him into a rock wall. Vanon transported the injured Kit onto the ship for questioning. When Kit would not give more information on the world above, the guy shot him and plucked him right from the ocean the whole situation screams bad guy, Vanon used a memory device that showed Kit's last few days through his eyes. Special Powers: The technological advances of his ship includes a transporter beam, sheilding, a vast array of ion cannons, and a laboratory. Among the equipment is a memory enhancer that makes the wearer seem like they are experiencing the last few days again. The ship does have a space hyperdrive but was destroyed during the crash and unfixable. It is unknown whether he was successful in extracting energy from elementalists or if he was able to configure it into weapons or not. Every Resourvent-class vessel is paired with a droid, when Vanon came into posession of the ship the droid came with it. DENNIS stays out of Vanon's way and does not interrupt unless it pertains to his home, which was only built to be a science vessel. He does not like the modifications Vanon has made to the vessel but Vanon was the ship's master and thus only thing he can to is maintain the ship, but he still knows that Vanon cannot operate the ship without him though he cannot opperate without the ship either. It was DENNIS who helped Kit escape from Vanon, activating the teleportation technology to transport the unconcious boy to the last known location in the boy's memory vision when Vanon's back was turned. | Name: Fumika Student or Teacher: Teacher: School Postman Age:16 Faction: School NPC Demon or Elementalist: Hybrid (Light and Dark) About Me:(I am kind of going along the lines of Fumika's actual back story in Shigofumi) A Shigofumi deliverer, Fumika was recently assigned to this particular schools district delivering "letters from the dead" to anyone in the district. Fumika actually suffers from Multi personality disorder and has 2 personalities. Fumika developed these two personalities due to the abuse of her father, and when Mika was born(personality wise, not physically), Fumika shot her father. This caused Fumi to go into a coma, in which the two personalities split up. The "postman" Fumika ("Mika-san") waiting for her other half ("Fumi-san") to wake up from her coma. (Watch the actual show to understand my bad explanation D=) Special Powers: Various abilities due to staff partner Kanaka, activated through codes.
