Marks the return of the squad system. And the game is 60% complete.

If Zeta Gundam there I assume there should be Char Counter Attack?

Glad there is SRW on PS2...

The lineup is unconvincing for me, hopefully there is more to come

Oh god, and just a few days prior to the announcement I was joking about Orguss in SRW.

Maybe now they'll announce Gold Lightan?

Gold Lightan is a pretty solid robot. I mean, he stabs his hand into the enemy.

In my opinion, the whole thing just looks like a late April Fool's prank. But I guess I'll have to wait and see. As far as I can tell, though, the scans could be shopped. Also, googled Gold Lightan; shit looks ugly as hell.

The scans are real, they're from an actual issue of Famitsu. I for one welcome the game, it gives me another excuse to not buy a PS3/PSP so soon. Plus Orguss and Baldios totally won me over.

I admit, the Gold Lightan robots initially look awful, but they actually grew on me after a while.
Just be thankful Srungle never got mentioned.

I am glad this new SRT will be for the PS2.
The new cast of robot series seems quite different, this time. Not so many Gundam series, but we will see with the actual complete list (next week?).
And I am a bit disappointed because there is no Gurren Lagann. :(

I hope they'll show the Nirvash Spec 2 a bit more than they did in the series. Seriously, it was just completely ignored after it was upgraded.

After seeing the full list, I am not so hyped like I was three days ago. But this new Super Robot Taisen seems so different, I think (and I hope) it will be an interesting experience.
But I will have to watch Turn A Gundam, After War Gundam X, Eureka Seven, Gravion and Sousei no Aquarion because I don't want to spoil myself with the story like I did with Rahxephon and Nadesico in the previous games. >_>

The Big O is okay for me, I don't hate the series, but I can't say the same thing for Gundam Seed Destiny... Shinn, I hate you. -_-

Well, I'm still excited for the game. I don't care if has crap like GSD and Gravion.
I'm actually looking forward to using Baldios, the Orguss units and probably even God Sigma.

And besides, it's not as if you HAVE to use stuff like Daitarn 3 and Getter Robo G.
Nobody is forcing you to use them.

There are missions where you are forced to do so. Also, I don't see what's wrong with Gundam SEED Destiny. Is it just Shinn? I mean, if that's the case, there are lot's of things to make up for it. Namely a less emo Kira and the Akatsuki Gundam.

I could never understand why Shinn got so much hate, I never actually saw anything wrong with him.

Kira on the other hand...

For me it's not only Shinn, it's the entire Gundam Seed Destiny series. I really didn't like it at all.

That reminds me that some people on Nico Nico Douga and 2ch wanted Kira to be the bad guy or to be killed in this new Super Robot Taisen. ^_^;

After watching some Aquarion, I'm starting to wonder how they'll implement the attacks, since the Aquarion's abilities are dependent on the pilots.

Aquarion should make an excellent addition to the game. Even more so if you can change pilots during fights (like in the show).

Aquarion was a pretty ambitious show in perspective, I just hope it translates well into Z.

Turns out, we're going to be treated to the SRW related event that took place a little while ago, since it's airing on some Japanese TV station.

Only trouble is, it's a whole month away.

Well, at least we'll get a half decent concert (featuring Kasey Rankin, which is pretty neat) and a good quality version of the PV.

There's also 2 Hi res versions around as well, one being 890 megs big, because someone sucks at compressing video, and a smaller one with out of sync audio.

I'm sure shinn asuka and the minerva team will become enemies later in the game then they will join once the Gundam Seed Destiny event is finished.
