Money doesn't matter. Honestly. The more you have it, the more you want it.
And you spend your life getting it. Cos you like things. Stupid :/

I just really need enough to be able to live and get my self a vacation a year. Nothing more.

That's what I meant. More money that a non-graduatey job. I'm fine with not being crazily rich.
Besides, I need some kind of purpose. I couldn't be a person lying around doing nothing.

You need to have something like that in your life, I agree. But I don't see it in any kind of work (academical or business).
I see it in a family.

Indeed.
Although I see it more as in enjoying what you're doing, or enjoying life. While people do find many different ways to do so, one should be active about it.

My friend decided he was gonna do a Business degree and just take pleasure in the big paycheck, knowing he'd have a boring, terrible job. He wanted to have 'so much money, he could go into a store and just point at things and say I'll have that'. I think I swayed him off that course.

I agree. And ppl to tend to enjoy different things.
All though I never met a person who can honestly say the thing he/she enjoys the most is the number of zeros in his/hers pay check.
It would be interesting to meet a person like that.

How did you do it?

Ah. Lol. I mean, we didn't wear aynthing special. Just our normal clothes? Although we did have a Graduation Ball where we dressed fancy. It still dragged though.

I dunno. I think me telling him, 'You'll become a soulless monster' probably did something. I think he still doesn't know what he's gonna do.

You know, my grandfather once told me that in all his years, he was never happy when he earned more and more money. What he found was that as much money as he made, it felt much better when his children called him "dad". He was 97 years old when he told me.

One Hour Photo is a anti-Robin Williams movie. It's not funny. He's not acting clownish or happy. It's just creepy as heck. But it's good.

I really respect him for doing non-comedic roles as well. The comedic Robin Williams is legendary, but its kinda like the dark aspect of comedy that he plays in other movies gives you a sense of "common man", or something.

i love him because of this always present sadness in his roles. i guess the word i'm looking for is melancholic.
he gets that better then anyone else in comedy or any other genre.

Its like the movies for some people, they watch to be entertained, even though they know it may not be real.
