| This series is streaming weekly on Disney+ and Hulu depending on where you live. The first half airs weekly up until Halloween and then will continue in January. Episode 1 This show is a remake of the original series that came out over 40 years ago that's set in the same universe as City Hunter as this is a more serious version of Lupin III with the thieves being a trio of sisters. The first episode is all about introducing the ladies and detail what goes down when they become thieves at night after spending the day working at their lovely cafe. The first case involves stealing an Indian treasure, and after hearing that Toshio, a frequent customer to the cafe and an inspector tasked with capturing the Cat's Eye trio not knowing that they are the cafe workers, is about to lose his job if he fails to capture Cat's Eye that the girls decide to help him out by stealing, then leaving him with a treasure to apss on as an accomplishment, which works like a charm. Pretty much, this show will satisfy fans of this franchise as well as those who are into stuff like Lupin III. And while the general story aims to follow the manga, there are some stylistic differences in the artwork to modernize it. |

| I didn't make it to the five minute mark. These thief shows don't interest me much and when you throw in just how plain ugly the character designs are my interest died very quickly. |

If anything, these characters look more realistic and mature than most series from the current era. Now if you said they looked dated, I'd probably agree with you. The ending of this remake is actually a cover of the first opening of the original series. |

| Episode 2 And now, the ladies are stealing two things. First, they swipe a set of bowls with the purpose to make the company put their real target up for auction, a painting by the sisters' father. But the painting was sold to somebody overseas in America. So Cat's Eye springs into action by stealing it at the shipping port. Hitomi goes at it alone and ends up getting cornered when she climbs up a building. But Rui and Ai are on the river with the boat to help break her fall after taking a leap of faith. With that, another piece of their father's legacy has been recovered as they take another step with another successful heist. |
| Looks like all the previous heists were just a warm-up, as there's a painting that Hitomi has set her sights on because it was done by her father. They swipe some bowls to bring the painting out in the open so they can boost it in transit, but some complications arise about where the painting's going, so Hitomi decides to go it alone. Fortunately, her sisters are there to get her out of a jam. |

| Episode 3 Next target is the Lakeside House painting that the sisters know was done by their father, but Cranaff's name is on it instead. So Hitomi arranges to go out on a date with Toshio there, while Ai ends up going there with his friend at school Shuhei, and it turns out that Hitomi and Toshio went to same school together. So after scouting the place, they come across the museum's director Odajima, and Shuhei's father serves under him. But therein lies a dilemma in that Hitomi intends to steal the painting, but doing so means Shuhei's father gets fired. So while Hitomi and Rui go through with stealing the painting, Ai has a plan of her own that starts with slipping a transmitter on Odajima's collar, and then Ai sneaks in as a security guard to play the truth that Odajima has been embezzling funds, leading to Toshio arresting him and Shuhei's father becoming the new director. Things worked out quite well there, though that means another detective is out to catch Cat's Eye since Shuhei decides that's what he wants to do after graduation. |
| Hitomi's not the only one with a love interest who conflicts with her thieving ways, as Ai's new boyfriend is the son of the head of security at the museum that the girls plan to hit next. The museum's director is a real scumbag, and after Hitomi slips a transmitter in his collar, it records some real dirt. Hitomi and Rui swipe the painting while Ai plays the recording of the director embezzling funds so Toshio and the security chief can hear, and the director is arrested. |

| Episode 4 Here comes Asatani, and she's a big threat to Cat's Eye as nothing gets past her. Toshio and his colleagues know that firsthand seeing that she knows exactly what everybody did before they meet her. And through the perfume used on the announcement card, she knew right away that the sisters are likely the thieves. So she comes in to stake out the cafe, and while Rui was stealing the artwork, Ai was putting on a performance as her to convince her she was enjoying herself at a symphonic concert when in actuality she was stealing the painting as announced. Cat's Eye sure does have a big problem on their hands since Asatani is not so easy to fool. |
| A new detective, Mitsuko Asatani, has joined the force, and she's dead certain that Hitomi and her sisters are the thieves based on one little detail: Hitomi's perfume. Mitsuko stakes out the girls' cafe, but Hitomi and Ai manage to establish alibis for the three of them while Rui stole their next target from the museum. However, it doesn't look like Mitsuko will let this setback deter her. |

| Episode 5 Here comes Kamiya, also known as the gentleman thief Mouse who only goes after jewels. He swipes a gem from a museum. Cat's Eye prepares their next heist at the German art exhibition, but Kamiya gets to it first and it turns out he has been spying on the sisters, so he knows who Cat's Eye is and he is threatening to out them if Hitomi doesn't go on a date with him. So for the next heist to get even, the sisters go after a Kashmir Sapphire at a jeweler, and the sisters beat him to the punch, swiping the real thing and replacing it with a fake before Kamiya could get there. It turns out that the girls knew right away they were being listened to, so they communicated important details through writing, while noticing that the photo was taken at a certain angle that made it easy to figure out who Mouse is. Kamiya sure is going to be quite the problem seeing that now they are competing against each other even though the sisters only go after paintings and Kamiya is only after the jewels. |
| The girls have a rival on their hands, a journalist friend of Toshio's named Masato Kamiya. Masato bugs the cafe with a souvenir, and he beats the girls to the punch by stealing their target. But soon the girls find the listening device and use it to their advantage, and Ai takes the painting from his apartment while Hitomi and Rui switch the sapphire Masato intended to steal with a fake. Looks like Cat's Eye has the leverage now. |

| Episode 6 Hitomi's jealous of Mitsuko, and her emotions affect the girls' latest heist. Toshio chases her during the getaway, and they both hit a log and stumble down a pit into an abandoned mine tunnel, with Hitomi hurting her leg and Toshio's eyesight becoming diminished in the fall. They have to work together to find a way out, and Hitomi learns that Toshio still cares about her. Once they do get out of the tunnel, Toshio lets Hitomi leave with her sisters, but he'd better be careful about what he says around her. With this, the series will take a break and resume in about six weeks. |
