Nukitashi the Animation

https://myanimelist.net/anime/57969/Nukitashi_the_Animation?q=Nukitashi&cat=anime

Synopsis

Seiran Island is a tropical eden where wanton sex acts are encouraged under local "pervert law." But even in this paradise, some prefer to remain celibate.

There's the lesbian younger sister who would secretly bone her brother...
The classmate everyone has labeled as a wild slut...
The tiny upperclasswoman, so petite that guys think she's off limits...
The shy girl who's a bit self-conscious about baring some skin...
And here I am, a guy with a "huge" complex about his "little guy."

Despite this, we form the anti-copulation front: No Love, No Sex! As its founder and head honcho, I, Junnosuke Tachibana, will not stop until we have abolished this ridiculous sex law for good!

I've even stumbled upon a generous soul in this mysterious, wealthy gentleman whose name remains a mystery... He's already set us up with a secret hideout and a tonne of money. In exchange, he asks us to find someone and "protect her at all costs."
So, she has the key to our mission's success...?

In this case, there's only one thing to do: find the mystery girl. And all while keeping the SHO off our trail,... Oh, and we also have to keep our virginity intact.

Make no mistake! Just wait and see! I'll repeal that perverse law!

Can't believe this got an anime, but here we are -_-; I only read the manga but this is based on an Eroge with different routes for different girls so not sure which girl we are getting (the manga had the blue haired girl). It's ok the initial shock wears off and after the absurdity dies down it has to have an actual plot and it fails to deliver IMO, but that's OK it won't be long enough for the whole story anyway and the fun will just be people's reactions to the beginning. And with the surprisingly good animation it will at least be nice to look at.

Try and find the uncensored version

If things like this can get greenlit it's only a matter of time before Parallel Paradise gets an anime adaptation.
Now, as much as I'm all for artistic freedom and all that....
Yikes, even I shuddered from this.
And not in anticipation either.
It's like a reverse Shimoneta mixed with Kiniitta Chitsu ni Ikinari Nakadashi OK na Resort-tou.
And every other wild hentai out there.

Parallel Paradise

Ha, when I was on a manga site I started reading that, completely forgot about it.

Not sure it is any worse than World End Harem or Redo of a Healer though.

I started reading it after I finished Elfen Lied manga and rewatching Brynhildr in the Darkness.

Guy is obsessed with having people liquefy when they die.
And other than the general rapeyness of Redo or the sheer absurdity of World End Harem I'd say that it's kinda worse.
You can't go more than 5 pages without him either having gratuitous sex with some girl who simply can't help it, stuck in a messy orgy or having something get decapitated.
And the plot man.....
Some parts of it are cool, but in all honesty it's a hardcore harem fantasy.
Like, no other ecchi series is as blatant and raunchy as Parallel Paradise.
Hell, it's more hentai than most hentai that also get confused as ecchi like A Kite and Mezzo Forte.
He could totally market it as a hentai and it would immediately get an anime adaptation.
Even poor Interspecies Reviewers got mislabeled as a hentai despite it not even showing any of the trademark things that get shit labeled as hentai.
And Parallel Paradise even got an official English translation to boot.
Haven't read the official release, just read it online.
But if it's 1-1 like the manga sources I read, damn.

Except for the school having all the students constantly banging (I know they are HS students but how can these guys keep it up for so long?, shouldn't they be exhausted by lunch time?) all the panty shots pretty much make this like Agent Aika.

Just caught up. This has been more consistently funny than I was expecting. And quite a bit dirtier too.

I binged the first 3 episodes of this last night, and it really reminds me of Shimoneta. Although the premise of the law is the exact opposite of Shimoneta, the result of a resistance force fighting the enforcers is the same, and in Shimoneta, the main enforcer ended up being a sex starved maniac anyway.

Still hate that part the most.
Beware the cookies, the seasoning isn't as sweet as you think.

Also just goes to show how little interest there was in this show.

No legal streaming site licensed it, and it's pretty obvious why. It's better than some of the trash that they do license though

I'd hazard a guess that the only reason it got an Anime adaptation and wasn't labled Hentai is purely because of A) The similarities with Shimoneta and B) Cause it's based on a visual novel that is actually available on Steam.

It's also incredibly expensive for how little it offers, has no convenient streaming apps, has next to no publicity (I didn't even know it existed until Nukitashi came out), predominantly streams adult conten (which is weird for a legit anime streaming service) and supposedly only accepts PayPal as payment methods.

It's even more expensive than HiDive, and that's saying something.

Yeah I've never heard of it either. $13 a month is a complete joke too. Crunchyroll probably has more than 100 times the amount of shows for half the price. Also yes, only accepting PayPal is a joke as well.

I'll just fall back on the Gabe Newell quote on watching Nukitashi the way I watch it considering what a joke Oceanveil's service model is.

In the US, HIDIVE is $7 a month...it just recently went up from $6 a month, and when I started out as a BETA member, I got it for $5 a month for 2 years.

Crunchyroll is $8 a month...so Oceanveil is close to double the price of HIDIVE, or only $2 less than a combined HIDIVE and Crunchyroll subscription, and HIDIVE and Crunchyroll combined have literally thousands of shows. Oceanveil appears to only have 10.

I count subscription costs in my own currency (petty and childish I know, but I hate having to think of all the world currencies whenever I buy things from outside of New Zealand)
Depending on the USD, HiDive costs me from 10-13 NZD.
Which isn't much, but when you compare it to Crunchyroll who charges a flat $9.99NZD without worrying about conversion rate and offers more than 70 times the amount of shows it's kinda jarring if you look at it from the perspective of an anime fan in a country where purchasing anime is expensive.
Then you get all the sudden show disappearances with no warning, crappy region availability and general shoddiness of the app and website (They still have shows on their recently added list from last year), the fact they get licenses to at most 3 NEW shows a season (Not including other seasons of shows they already had) and their subtitling and translations are most of the time terrible it's like they aren't even trying.
Only reason I still have a HiDive sub is because there are a couple of shows I frequently rewatch, they have a couple of classics I want to watch they make an effort to obtain uncensored versions of shows and they are also the most likely to license risque titles which Crunchyroll(Sony) being the puritans they are, generally snort down their nose at.

Surprised how by the end the sex just seemed normal though actually for the majority of the show 90% of it was just background characters. Overall pretty meh, took a different route than the manga, at least its ending wasn't quite as lame but still kinda dumb. Though it's not like you can expect anything else with such a dumb premise.

I was hoping to get some more background on Rei. It seemed obvious to me that she was not actually having sex herself. She kept rejecting Junnosuke when he was trying to distract her. I guess at least she showed her boobs. Also at the end, they showed most of the SF members having sex, but not Rei or Touka.

Interesting that the purple haired girl whispering into the guy's ear as he was having sex with another girl was voiced by the same girl as Yuki in Alya Hides Her Feelings in Russian.

I was also wondering if we would see the commander of the SHO having sex, but nope, just implied she used a cast of Jonnosuke's dick....which I thought was supposed to be forbidden by their law.

I gave it a 6/10, but I binged it which might have made the experience better than watching it week by week

@HOOfan_1

Yeah not showing most of the main girls (both good and bad) having sex seemed like an odd choice considering I would assume that's what fans if the game were probably hoping to see and was like you know the point of the show. Yeah I thought for sure after her lusting after him he would have to use his "magic weapon" to defeat the main bad girl (the one who used coins). Oh well show was pretty much a big tease.
