If it ends together then it will be better for the anime community cuz of spoilers, but if it ends together then the manga pace will go down rapidly or it might even go on hiatus. As a manga reader Id prefer the manga to end first.

Even if it's (probably) not the nicest thing, but the safest method for anime onlys would be to either just read the manga or to don't use (maybe even uninstalling) any kind of social media app, forum, etcetera + to don't have (an) asshole(s) as (a) friend(s) who could spoil you.

When I do, I'll probably switch to the manga because if I continue with just the anime, I'll spoil myself when the manga finishes. You need to understand how this works.

Anime is AN ADAPTATION of the manga.

They adapt to the material AFTER its published. They can't START WORKING on the last episode before the chapter is PUBLISHED.

Technically, getting spoiled can mostly "only" happen to overseas fans around the world.

Almost everyone/every fan in japan (like probably AT LEAST over 90%) reads the manga.

So japanese fans can't get spoiled when One Piece ends.
