| Ys takes place in an alternate fantasy Europe in the time of ancient Rome. I haven't watched the anime, however, and you may be better off playing the games instead. | It doesnt really fit the request, but Fate Zero has Alexander the Great and and just a few ancient vibes. But the anime itself is not about ancient times and the action takes place in our time, there is just some characters from the past in the present times. Anime itself is pretty good btw, its a prequel so you can start watching with it, no need to know all Fate lore. |
