What program are you using, hibaricloud? If possible, I would recommend give the text a stroke to make it easier to read, or as VioletYuki suggested earlier, put layer of white text underneath the red one to mimic a shadow effect.

However, I agree with SapphViolet, they are a bit distracting from the lovely mafia boys. ;D I'd suggest lowering the opacity. :3

ara? you agree with me but i didn't even say anything about it yet XDDD but yeah... i do think so too and was about to say the same thing when i read your "agree with Sapph" and i was like eh? mind reader? lol XD i made something similar to that before and lowering opacity helps alot ^^ blends the color more so it's easier for the eyes... xD oh my, looking at that siggy i made reminds me of those days when i was still a noob at photoshop 8D

I use Photoshop, as it's the one I'm most familiar with. I have InDesign and Fireworks but I have no clue how to use those (should be teaching myself TT). And I don't know much about Paint either, I haven't used it in so long. x_x

I've seen some incredible things done with Paint, I'm sure you can use it to make banners. :3

I keep hearing about a freeware called GIMP that's apparently a good Photoshop alternative. They seem to have layers, special brushes, and other features. Haven't used it personally, but it might be worth checking out.

But you know what?
You need to dl other programs from the net. (in order to install it)
And there are around 20 of them

I might just stick with paint after all
Btw I'm using paint to color in the manga page. I'm too free during weekdays (w/out internet it's boring)
Any suggestion on manga page to color? (esp Yamamoto)
