I’ve seen the anime years ago! Like in 2018 or 2019, I don’t really remember. Back then, I was 17 to 18, I was like I know where this is going! I’m not going to cry and last episode came and I cried like a baby for hours! The. 2025 came and I was like, why don’t I give it a read to see if my feelings towards this series changed! To see if I “grew”! Then cried again!! That’s how powerful this series is to me! Anyone else?

I also feel the same way. Almost 5 or 6 years ago, I watched Anohana during my summer break. At the time, I didn’t realize that it would become one of my favorite anime. Since then, I’ve watched a lot of anime, but Anohana still remains among my favorites. And the ed song, Secret Base, is something I still listen to from time to time; always the full 10 years later version.
