Hah, for some reason this is like my most favorite weapon now, don't ask me why :>

Why do i like it this much? uhm.. i have taken a look at the technical design and it's very special. It's one of the lesser weapons to be idle with the chamber OPEN. Next to that the design is easy to craft, and for military organisations it's a damn good weapon for it's price, weight, capacity, etc.

I wouldn't shoot competitions with this by the way...

Your favorite?

Heh Nice one!! :)

My Favorite would be this one:

It features a 20" barrel with non-reflective black phosphate finish, a synthetic varmint-style stock with adjustable cheekpiece and a 5-round, drop-free detachable magazine. The top of the action comes complete with Picatinny-style rail, designed to fit most types of optic bases and accessories. Also, the rifle comes ready to accept many accessories such as a muzzle-brake and a bipod.

This has to be one of the best rifles i have ever shot!!

That's like, a multifunctional sniper rifle :O, i like the rail, it's... i don't know i haven't seen it on bolt actions so far yet, and it does seem handy.

In what calibre's is it available?

Looks good 'n' decent, though i read that the stock isn't quite what it should be. Have you found any difficulties with it?

By the way: I'm starting a new design for a pistol and a rifle. We (my dad and i) need 1 more machine and we could practically start producing our own designs. I'll post my designs soon here when i finished them :D

First on my schedule: Chavez R.C. (Rifle Calibre) Combat Pistol, shooting .308 ammo with a mag cap of 5 (quick calculation in my head). Also, i'd say the end result would weight about 3 to 3.5 Kg's. It's purely for fun, i mean, who actualy makes combat pistols heh, not to mention the calibre. I'm definitly going to upload a YouTube video when it's all ready to fire :D

Anyhow, you'll hear from this soon :P

I have to explaine why i chose this weapon, i admit it is a quite strange choice.
1) i dont have really experiance about weapons i have only fired 5 weapons and practised whit 1 whit out ammo.

2) when i was in military service i went in to the engineer corps as a combat engineer, because of this, all the fancy weapons like smg, all kind of marksman weapons, shotguns were off limits to us because they are not used by engineer units, basicly only weapon what we really used was rk 62, we get to shoot whit pkm and kvkk 62 but that was only once in the last weekend of service while every one else were on holiday
leave (so it was not as fun as it could have been), also in one combat exercise two mens form each squad was armed whit one pkm to give fire cover to unit stupid i was i did not volunteer to do it.

3) rk 62 was fun weapon and i really liked about it, but because most of the time we trained to our own dutys the weapon was on our way while building minefields or clearing minefields so it was kind of annoying, thank fully we had enough combat training to make the gun useful, (most of the fun stuff in the army was the combat training.)

4) so what is my favorit weapon what i have used, well it is russian 12,7 nsv, this gun was really fun to shoot whit thoug we only used it once and could only shoot couple rouns whit, it was great experiance the simple power of weapon was mindblowing it was also a great fun to shoot it, also on the plus side we didnt have carry this monster around.

Caliber: 12,7x109 mm
Weight: 25 kg gun body, 41 kg on tripod 6T7 with 50 rounds of ammo
Length: 1560 mm (1900 mm on 6T7 tripod)
Length of barrel: 1346 mm
Feeding: belt 50 rounds
Rate of fire: 700-800 rounds/min
it main purpose is to provide soldiers close anti aircraft support against enemy units.

Some people might disaprove my weapon of choice because it is stricly and for good reason a military weapon in my opinion, but for the short time we used this it was best feeling weapon we had the chance to shoot whit (this can also be a argument against my choice because it bases on "feelining" the weapon gave as when fired not really the "facts" how it was like to operate and such things), but enough babble and also sorry about the terrible grammar.

The 6.8mm SPC firing M468 by Barret gets my vote as a very useful future weapon. I was going to say an M14 derivative, like the SOCOM 16 or the Mk14 Mod 0 EBR, but while the 7.62 NATO is the round for a definite knock-down, it's looking a bit out of date now, especially with new rounds like the 4.6x30 becoming popular and the 6.8 SPC looking like a serious contender in the US military's weapons development programme. Also, the future looks to be more and more involved with minimising over-penetration and the possible 'collateral' damage done because of it.

If I lived in the US, I'd want a 7.62 for target/hunting, a simple pump-action for home defense, and a CZ75 9mm handgun for indoor range shooting. (I don't know how to link images on this site yet.)

My pick for a very-large caliber gun: Mechem NTW-20

Might call that as a BFG instead.

For assault rifles, probably the H&K 416 suits my interest the best. But a 417 will do too.

For pistols, I'd pick either a Colt M1911 or a USP .45.

... I really wish I can see my country's armed forces firearms in their real form. But, ah, I'm very near to the military headquarters in where I study right now. Next time I must not miss the mini exhibitions my country's armed forces organizes in certain places. Once there's one in my college, but sadly since my love for firearms did not fully flourish yet at that time... I missed it. SAD!

I have a new favorite!

The VSS Vintorez. In fact, I knew this gun a long time already, I just thought it'd be nice to promote it now.

Designed to fit in a suitcase, integrated silencer, and it can be set fully automatic. What more do you want?

M14 since its 7.62.51 mm round is very available and a it wins in a beauty contest for sure.

But for a realistic choice I choose a H&K 416, its a perfect AR system as stated by many people. But the many things to add to a AR system will save your life such as the rail system which adds flashlights, aimpoint, grip, etc. The AR has so many different options also to add to it, if such a part fails, there are many available parts to change to repair it. It may not be a beauty when you add all this RIS shit but it saves your life.

I would have to say that my favorite gun ever would be the m1 grand. it has the looks, the power (30-06) range, accuracy. the only drawback is that it is heavy.

but even General George S. Patton, Jr said that the m1 grand is "The greatest battle implement ever devised."

I love that gun as well. I wouldn't mind the weight but the amo issues would be my concern

my favorite gun is the scar h tpr firstly because it uses a 7.62*51 mm which seems to be popular around here . second the scar uses a short stroke piston making more reliable then the ar-15 or m-16 which uses direct impingement system. thirdly the extended rails make it possible to put more mods (I'm the kind of guys who likes gadgets and stuff) then the scar l or h standard length which has a small rail. fourthly the extended barrel keeps more gas pushing on the bullet for a longer period of time. fifthly the butt stock and controls make for a very ergonomic type of weapon and insures a good accuracy like its muzzle which come with a muzzle compensator (stock) and that's why i like it so much. even tough this is my favorite right now at this instant my favorite gun changes frequently between a few weapons but right now its this one. if i knew how to put a photo i would but now goggling it is the only way you can see it
