My Instant Death Ability is so OP. The song gets you pumped up for what amounts to one-joke fake shows seen in cartoons.

Air. Only two characters are important through the entire show: The biker and the blonde girl.

Texhnolyze. Its OP is more energetic than the show itself.

Lady Jewelpet. As much as I love Jewelpet, I found Lady incredibly boring for heavily shafting the Jewelpets.

Shaman King 2021. A very rushed manga adaptation with slideshow animation.

The OP of Koi to Uso - the "Kanashii" song - definitely is a contender on this thread. A catchy song wasted on an average romance.

I recall really enjoying the first opening to A Certain Magical Index, which is a shame considering the show itself was pretty bad

Fushigi Yuugi OP.. this song is so sensational.. I wish the show was as good as this song.. I still get goosebumps all over towards the end when I see Tamahome and Miaka hug.. or listen to this song..
