Are there any anime or anime that you can't get over for a while after watching or finishing them? I would like to learn. For me it's Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Kamichu and Dennou Coil. For a while, I was quite desperate to find something with similar aesthetics.

k-on. Purely because of how wholesome it was. It had me wishing that I could have a life like that and stuff it was so perfect.

Lots, usually because of dramatic moments, like the ending of Rose of Versailles or Revolutionary Girl Utena. Also Girls Last Tour because of the melancholic vibe which makes you think. The shows of Aria franchise for the soft relaxing vibe which come mind every time the ocean breeze blows softly over the estuary, or One Piece every time the palm tree in the garden waves in a stiff wind framed against a bright blue sky with seagulls wheeling about in the air.

Also some of the older classics like Ashita no Joe S2, that ending is brilliant, packs a punch. And ofc LotGH, it's a masterpiece, no other grand stories compare.

For me it would be Aikatsu. I can't help to keep listening to their songs. I never fond of any idol anime at all but this one just hits different because of how complete it made me feel be its highs and lows. Binging the franchise up to Parade in just 2 months is surely a session that I would not forget.

@VivaceRex Thanks for your comment! I haven't heard anything about Aikatsu but maybe I'll watch it when I have some free time

@Zeepze Give it a try if you enjoy wholesome and fun anime with lovable cast plus great music. The CG dance scenes don't look quite good at first but they will improved greatly overtime. Episodes number doesn't mean anything if you enjoy the dynamic between the cast so go check it out sometime.

Of course, there's Akame ga Kill! It took me almost a month to truly move on because I wasn't ready and had no expectations that the story would go in that direction. Moreover, I watched it when I was still new to watching anime.

Another one might be Angel Beats! where I was not prepared for how each character disappeared suddenly. Especially the final shot in the last episode, which showed a location that was initially very fun and comical, becoming empty and deserted

Rewatching Samurai Champloo for the first time in years was very enjoyable. Was kind of depressed for a bit after it was finally over.
