basically he used a money check, gave it to some guy (i believe) and then with some help he gave away guns to everyone in the town for them to fight for the money.

Yes, but instead of shooting him in the head, he would have shot him in another part of the body, such as the hand or the leg, to incapacitate him.

So the ending would be the same, just with some injuries for Johan :)

I would've because I wouldn't have been smart enough to figure out Johan's plan but I support tenmas decision not to because he figured it out. my mindset would've been that "I need to rid the world of the monster to prevent more tradgedies" (which would obviously end up proving Johan right but whatever)

I wouldn't. I'm not a killer. I'm not someone like Johan. Also, if I were the doctor like Tenma, I wouldn't because I'm a doctor. The Hippocratic Oath forbids me which makes sense considering how much I side with it.

But if I were to make a compromise such as paralyzing him, that's to be considered. Better him not using his hands and legs permanently if he were not to kill.

I would shoot. The whole 'hero never kills' trope in many series often gets on my nerves. I'm a pragmatic person, so if taking one life means saving countless others, I wouldn't hesitate to do it.

That said, I'm no psychopath. I wouldn't enjoy it, and I hope I never have to take a life. But having served in the army, I know that if the situation demanded it, I could. Sometimes, the greater good outweighs personal hesitation.

I get that the show tries to portray Johan as a victim, especially toward the end when his backstory is fully revealed. But I didn’t buy it. Despite being shaped by his environment, he was a dangerous individual who took pleasure in killing purely because he could.

I understand Tenma’s dilemma, especially since he’s a doctor bound by his oath to save lives. But the moment he decided to hunt the Monster he saved, he should have been prepared to pull the trigger without hesitation. At that point, he wasn’t killing a human—he was eradicating an evil force. Just as most people don’t hesitate to kill a cockroach, Tenma should have felt relief, for removing such a malevolent presence from the world, someone capable of driving others to suicide with nothing more than a mere speech.
