It's been a while, but provided we're just talking about Naruto and not Shippuden here (because Shippuden has some great ones too, someone mentioned the one about the shadow clones and I think that's Shippuden).. I think I'd go with the ones where they want to see what's under Kakashi's mask. Great episode!

everything after asuma's funeral until team 10 leaving was filler so that's it
i don't care if 2 minutes of that episode were canon, that's the best non-manga events of the series

I prefer relatively laid back filler. not whole arcs but just one filler episode. my favorite filler episode is a konohamaru episode after tsunade becomes hokage and we get to see how he processes the changes in the hidden leaf following his grandfather's death.

I always enjoyed that episode and as someone who also lost grandparents I found it a bit relatable.

there is also a scene where tsunade looks into different teams and commentates on them.


I know a lot will disagree on this.

I skipped all fillers but I remember accidentally watching a filler where fake might guy and rock lee comes to leaf village. that was so funny 😂 I also watched kakashi face reveal ep on yt.

I really likes the Menma arc in the last season of Part 1.

Mine is definitely them trying to unmask Kakashi, mostly because Kakashi is easily my favorite character of all time, but also because the show is always constantly moving the plot along and as a viewer we never get to experience the soft moments, downtimes, and funny relationships between the characters. That’s why I’m always pro-filler, no matter what anyone says!

Someone who skips filler is not a "real fan" is something i don't agree with, fillers are not canon and are not part of the manga, most fillers are boring and just waste your time, it's better to skip most if not all to save some time and stick to the main story, that's just my opinion though.

The Naruto manga is a well paced and well written story with fun and downtime moments written into the actual canon while keeping everything on track. You can’t possibly be a fan of all the ridiculous amount of filler in the anime. There are fun moments, like the kakashi mask episode, but Naruto is a much better story without the filler than with it. To say you like filler, you have to like all the filler, you can’t just pick and choose episodes or filler arcs.

Ok I said I like filler and that’s me, why bother commenting on what I like when you disagree? Manga is better when the story is concise and that’s why it’s two different mediums of the same story.

It's been awhile since I watched Naruto, this was the first show that I actually watched the fillers of. I'm pretty sure the one where they were cats was pretty good.

Unmasking Kakashi, loved the interactions with Team 7. Watched it almost daily as a kid. ❤️ I skipped filler if it seemed bad, but I love that one. From Shippuuden I loved that episode where Team 7 had mission to take a huge cat's paw print.
