definitely start reading the tokyo ghoul manga now. it has an anime but it gets really bad beyond the 1st season. well aside from that its definitely the most similar to parasyte that i can think of

Try Tokyo Ghoul out. Manga is miles better of the two but the anime does its job just fine.

AOT is another popular option that has similar themes if you haven’t already watched that.

I'd say Death Note may be similar. I personally couldn't watch it cause it was way too dark and disturbing for me, but it might be similar

The closest good anime to what you're looking for is Psycho Pass especially its first season.

1• In/spectre.( season 1 second half is boring though but second season did pretty good)
2• Seraph of the end (you might just love this one. similar in Themes but in wide range)
3• Mob Psycho 100( a masterpiece with the most beautiful ending)

I didn't gave the anime above guys already gave. if you didn't watch them already then definitely try the 3rd and 2nd.

and here's something if you like action and shounen "1● Kiju no 8".

not to antagonize you or something but if you would have watched more gambling shows then you would've realized that most of those stakes in Kakegurui are fake and it is one of the worst gambling anime/manga to be made.

You're right that I haven't watched more gambling shows like akagi and kaiji. There on my list but haven't gotten to them. I think Kakegurui is still decent though. It flatters people who are into quirky characters.

Devilman Crybaby is basically parasite except it has far better pacing, the female characters aren’t completely brain dead ( fucking Satomi Murano every episode saying that Izumi is acting different? Obviously we know why, but think about it logically, if your mates mum disappeared and is presumed dead, would you be shocked if he is acting a bit different from normal. And don’t get me started on the stupid bitch who confronted the parasyte, politely asking it to go away, god the majority of female characters in parasyte make kishinoto’s female characters look like masterpieces in comparison) and didn’t completely randomly become some environmental shill. it has phenomenal art and animation direction. It was done by the people who are currently making Dandadan (which you should read/watch 100%) and who did ping pong the animation, and they managed to elevate go nagais original story to something far better then the sum of its parts. Sorry about the parasyte rant, its just whoever I hear anybody talk about it they never mention how horrifically stupid the main female characters are and how they consistently make decisions that no sane human or even insane human would ever even conceive of.

Netflix has a 6 Episode Parasyte series called Grey. Check that out.

Devilman Crybaby (also on Netflix) is something you'll like.

The only ones I can think of that are at all similar are psycho pass season 1 (maybe) and summer time rendering. The k-drama reboot Parasyte the grey is worth checking out though - it’s on Netflix
