are they going to cut out all the Filler episodes too that'd be really cool some of the Philippines is in the original were pretty okay but somewhere mid and bad are they having a brand new English voice cast as well

I mean, if they are remaking the whole anime with the purpose of giving it a finale, then I hope they give us like 200 episodes non-stop, like One Piece anime does.

If they go like 26 episodes max and then hiatus, then this is gonna take like a decade to give it a finale.

This is why this should have been a continuation of the anime from the last OVA/movie they released in 1996 (or the OVA episode of 2008) instead of a full remake.

But hey, whatever makes them more cash is the path they will take.

With good pacing, I think it would take around 125 episodes, maybe a bit more. Dai no Daibōken, having 349 manga chapters, took 100 anime episodes to complete. Ranma ½ has 407 manga chapters.

The 1st episode of Ranma1/2 Remake season2 was so simple for a season-opener yet so fun that it made me remember how fun Ranma could be. You have no idea how subtly yet greatly impactful this series was for me as an artist —a writer, concretely— and how nostalgic the new ED suddenly made me feel, and it's so absurd because it doesn't aim to be anything deep at all, neither is it an award-winning story. Now I experience the story all over again.

@Kdekalcio I wonder what Mappa intends to do with this. Have hey made an announcement about adapting the whole manga? It wouldn´t make sense to adapt the first few chapters and then just leave it at that. And if they do it at the rate of 20+ episodes a season, it´s going to be around 5/6 seasons of this.

I don't think they've made any announcement regarding that. I personally hope they adapt the whole manga, but maybe they'll skip the least important stuff to make it shorter like David Production did with Urusei Yatsura.

@_Rearden_ Well, I´m happy yo hear that. They should do whatever they want, but I have my preferences and obviously I want them as fast as possible.
