Wait, if I'm getting it right, it's going to be a play about playing a play.
So in Tokyo Blade parts the actors will have to play playing a play.
Damn

In the manga they had normal katanas, in the anime adaptation they had cool-ass swords and in the stage play they took the boring ones from the manga.... Missed opportunity...

Otherwise, pretty fucking meta, I like it.

Hope they broadcast it or we get to see it online. Would be a nice little treat with the theatre arc just ending in the anime.

They won’t, it’s a 2.5d play just like in the anime. I honestly can’t remember the last time (if ever) I heard about a Japanese play having an online stream

Confusingly, it's an adaptation of the original manga, but not of this animation.
Usually, the planning and management entity for a 2.5D stage has no business connection with that of an anime production committee.
If you want to catch up on further information, you'd better pay attention to the releases of the publisher of the original manga (Shueisha in this case). If you have a chance of getting to the theater, they might offer a pre-sale of tickets.

2.5D stage productions of popular works are sometimes live-streamed for a fee, and sometimes a Blu-ray or online feeds are released at a later date. But of course, a one-time stage experience is completely different from video content.
2.5D stage plays are performed in compact theaters with a capacity of about 1,000 people due to the high density of gimmicks.(*) Therefore, the battle for tickets is extremely fierce. The industry is currently promoting the training of young star performers specializing in 2.5D (In this work, Kamoshida Sakuya falls under this profession.), so it could be said that it is the fixed fans of the performers rather than the fans of the original work who are eagerly competing for tickets.
Streaming and other visual portfolios can be seen as a limited response to fan demand that cannot be met by the number of seats available.

* Theater H has 747 seats. The Umeda Arts Theater has 898 seats.
IHI Stage Around Tokyo, the theater that served as the model for the original story and the anime, had 1,314 seats (It closed at the end of 2023. As Aqua was impressed by in episode #03, the seating floor had a 360-degree rotation structure.)
