Is anybody else experiencing CR buffering a lot? Not every show, but definitely the "popular" ones.
Is it still happening to you? I've now resubbed to CR and it doesn't seem to be happening to me on both PC and phone.
Although, it could possibly be a regional server issue as well- I'm in the SEA region.
@Jozuwa-_- I'm a paid subscriber in the SE of the United States. It only started recently, so that's why I am mystified. You're right it must be a regional server, but that irritates the heck out of me. Crunchy is raising prices on their subscriptions and becoming slightly less reliable? thanks for the response.

Dallas Mavericks advances to the Western Conference Finals!!!
OKC had a chance to force a game 7, and it was looking like that's exactly what's gonna happen for most of the game with them leading by 10+ for the majority of the game.
But it slipped from them, Dallas had a comeback run, PJ Washington scored clutch shots as his first points in the entire game and even had his 3pt shot fouled by SGA in the last 3 seconds of the game for a game-winning free throw shots.

Mad respect for the young team of OKC for being so competent in this entire season and managing to get to the 2nd round of the Playoffs.
They may have missed the opportunity to get their rings now, but they've shown they have a strong fight in them to compete again in the next coming playoffs.
Looking forward to the future of this OKC team.

Here's hoping for Denver Nuggets vs Dallas Mavericks for the WCF. But be it Nuggets or T-wolves that the Mavs face, the WCF will surely be quite an exciting series to watch.

Denver Nuggets lost Game 7. Minnesota Timberwolves are moving on to the West Conference Finals to face Dallas Mavericks.
No excuses. They lost, and that's it. Well fought battle with them chasing a very early 2 dominant consecutive loses and got 3 straight wins.
They had a big early lead in the first half but let it slip, got taken over and the rest is history.
Great credits to the T-wolves. They're showing great championship team spirit and they might just become one. Congrats to them.

Excluding Suns and Mavericks when I was still very young to understand basketball, Nuggets is the first sports team that I have really ever supported and been a fan of.
This is the first time I ever felt so drained after a sports team's lost and, man! It's not a good feeling.

But I appreciate finally being able to experience that. And I'm still sticking with Denver Nuggets as long as Jokic is there.
Next time. LET'S GO NUGGETS!!!

I think I'm going for the Celtics now that the Thunder are out. I'm a Duke fan, and Jayson Tatum is ex-Duke, so there you go.

Ever since the Celtics won against the Heat, they've been the assured Finals contender for me from the East.
I did feel like the Knicks could've pulled an upset against them but, they're out of the equation now.

My favoritism is with the Dallas right now but, I'd be lying if I say that I see a chance of them beating T-wolves in the series. T-wolves just feel more complete.
So, my guess is that we're getting T-wolves vs Celtics. That's gonna be one helluva Finals series if so.

i think it will be dope to have a new champ and therefore a new "face of the league" win the chip this year, be it luka, ant, tatum or haliburton. c's definitely look the more poised to take it which i think would be great to solidify them as a real contender for the coming years. the wolves/mavs matchup seems like it could go either way but mavs might have the slight edge with luka and kyrie being as experienced and talented as they are. both teams are a lil banged up but i could just as much see minnesota finding that next level too and getting to the finals. i think c's vs. wolves would be the most compelling contest between the two most complete teams but dallas isn't too off the mark with how good their d can be.

whatever happens tho it will be new, fresh and exciting!

@neboke It's definitely an exciting Playoff indeed. Refreshing to see new potential champions for this season, and to be the hunted team for the next year or more.

We can already expect the media going hard in building up Ant as the new face of NBA if Wolves does win this playoff. Which would be very understandable since they've been in dire need of a Bron replacement as Face of NBA for years now-- Curry was the closest we got in that regard.
For Dallas, I personally just really want to see Luka's greatness be finally rewarded. A generational talent like him shouldn't retire without a ring or 2, but he's most likely nearing his declining years now so, he needs to win one asap.
With Celtics, they really need to win one now as well. Their rebuild started years ago and was already quite solidified this year. White upped his game to starter level, Jrue giving them top-notch defense, Porzingis for a solid Center, and the 2 Superstars leading the charge. There'd be no excuses for a loss.
When it comes to the Haliburton though, I feel him getting a ring won't really put him on a superstar status but more just add to his credibility. He hasn't really played like one during this playoff, mostly sharing the stage with Siakam and with the rest of the team playing well. He'll need another year where he's the number one option for them to look like a legit franchise superstar.

I'm still depressed by the Nuggets' elimination, btw xD

Looks like CR does get some playback problems sometimes with popular titles. I'm having a buffering issue watching Kimetsu no Yaiba even though I just watched Boku no Hero S7 without encountering any slowdown. Bummer, since I'm quite invested in the recent episode.

@neboke Good thing they did or the pressure on them would've began piling up.
Wish I could've watched it but I was so tired when I got home.

Mavs vs Celtics. NBA Finals. We in for some great stuff.
I don't have a horse in this matchup but, I'll be favoring Mavs more for this one.

That was embarrassing for Minnesota. Oof. What a disaster. I mean, Doncic couldn't miss in the first half, but still. I feel bad for the fans.

Go Celtics!

@boldulysses Yeah. I don't understand what the heck happened to them. They went from almost dominantly sweeping the defending champs, to struggling against Mavs even when they're all fully healthy and contributing.
KAT's inconsistency was their only problem against the Nuggets and had a bit of problem when Conley had to sit out a game. But they were complete in this series, even Naz Reid was playing well, and with the Defensive Player of the Year, Rudy Gobert very active in the court. Idk how the heck they lost this series against Mavs which is way too "small" of a team compared to them.

But I'm glad Dallas made it. Let's see if Celtics could finally solidify this dynasty in the record books as champs, or if Luka will finally get a ring after years of being championship-material player.

I just hope that whoever wins the championship this year manages to reach the Finals again next year and provide us an intense championship defense.

minnesota could beat anyone if it was a 1 game series, lol but they just couldn't find the consistency game in game out which probably just comes down to their lack of experience and focus in every game.

i'm lowkey pulling for the mavs but if the c's take it that'd be dope too. i just want a 7 game series!

Gainax has filed for bankruptcy.
But rights to several well known franchises have already been transferred to other companies so I hope this doesn't interfere with a re-release of Daibuster seeing as though I just bought Gunbuster.

i always find it sad when classic studios or older anime distributors go under. same with seiyuu, mangaka, animators, composers or directors pass on.. it's just sad knowing they brought so much joy and wonder to so many. that vintage anime magic will never happen again and that will be deeply missed.

In the case of Gainax, the backbone of the company went off to become the independent studios Trigger, best known for doing Gurren Lagann, and Khara, which was founded by Hideaki Anno. So Gainax's legacy is carried on by those two studios, but nevertheless it was expect seeing that it has been a long time since they last put out anything.

I think Gainax was the main studio behind Gurren Lagann, although Trigger now has the IP rights.

Also, according to ANN's article on the subject, Khara now has Gainax's trademark.

Supposedly they transferred all the rights for specific franchises to their subsidiaries or something like that.
And the whole reason they declared bankruptcy was so they could file legal action against companies that were using their properties illegally.

It's a huge mess that I'm for the most part incapable of understanding, but hopefully after it's all sorted out they can carry on and hopefully it makes reprinting classic anime a tad easier.
So many shows I'd like to get my hands on that I just don't feel like sailing for.

Celtics' championship win was so dominant that it felt so boring. xD
But that's not their fault, and them being the defending champs still make the next season an interesting one with teams needing to prepare for and be better than them.

Congrats to the Celtics. May the Denver Nuggets Sweep then in the Finals next season. XD

Has anyone ever seen a film in 4DX? I bought tickets to see a film, and after my purchase I noticed it's a 4DX experience. I'm a bit worried it's going to be really annoying, especially since the movie I'm planning on seeing is over two hours long.

Ranma 1/2 remake is set to air in October on Netflix.
And like the Urusei Yatsura remake, the bright colours, like Ranma's hair for example, are far too vibrant.
But it also screams typical Rumiko, which I guess is the point.

Sad it's on Netflix, but if it plays out like the Urusei Yatsura remake, I'm not really missing anything if I choose not to watch it.
Just my two cents on the matter.

Just thinking about anime and this one called Talentless Nana. It's like Higurashi and I don't want to spoil it to everyone but it's really interesting. I love psychological horror anime so much but not the typical ones it seems it's the ones that seem normal at first then hits you with a twist. I remember jumping through School Days just to watch the end. Then there is the psychological horror that is built up within the anime so each episode it just gradually gets more dark and twisted.

Rachael Lillis passed away over the weekend. Most of you likely recognize her as the original English VA of Misty and Jessie from Pokémon, but she also happened to be the English VA for Utena Tenjou from Revolutionary Girl Utena, as well as Mito (Gon's aunt) and Cocco (the Heaven's Arena announcer) from the 2011 version of Hunter x Hunter.

Here's the tweet announcing her passing, from her Pokémon colleague Veronica Taylor.

@Patas We have a similar looking team aside from Blue Exorcist. Not sure if I'll edit mine again unless a new anticipated Anime pops up.
I think I was at about 2000th+ place during the Winter event xD

Starting with the bad.

Resident Evil movie director is now taking another stab at House of the Dead railshooter and making another movie.

And then the good.

Daft Punk and Leiji Matsumoto's Interstella 5555 animated movie+soundtrack will be airing around the world in remastered 4k in movie theaters on December 12th 2024.
After the movie will be various Daft Punk music videos.
Accompanied by a limited re-release on Vinyl and CD for the Discovery: Interstella 5555 soundtrack featuring the original Japanese artwork and stickers.
There will be 5555 Gold Vinyls, 5555 numbered CDs and 25,000 black Vinyls.

Personally a shame the original movie isn't being re-released.
Not that I mind terribly because I still have the old 2003 collectors edition.
But it would be nice if they did re-release it for the anniversary of Leiji's death.
